In a country where everything is recyclable so these types of factories are predominate on every street corner I’m still astonished by the amount and quantity of scrap metal which is available and also still unbelievable how they could acquire the materials they need for their production whats become obvious is the amount of craftsmanship creativity and knowledgeable they obviously possess to produce a great quality product
Imagine how nice they’d turn out if they weren’t throwing a fresh machined surface on top of another machined surface without a care in the world. What’s really amazing is their feet- if I do some light machine work in my shop I’m picking shaving splinters out for a week from everywhere. These guys walk around in flip flops and seem to be impermeable to metal splinters

I often see comments criticizing safety or workmanship. Those comments may be appropriate for us, but that place is not us. I have a high regard for the hard work and ingenuity shown here. The engineering, materials and workmanship here are perfect for the product being manufactured. When a product is properly engineered, it can be produced with an adequate yield with people and equipment possessed by the manufacturer. If thick gaskets are used, for instance, finely machined mating surfaces are not needed. Specifying a tolerance that is tighter than needed for yield or performance will increase costs without improving quality or reliability. The material used here is recycled cast steel. It has known (to within needed limits) uniformity, strength, modulus, toughness, ductility, etc. The designers have assured that thicknesses and tolerances are appropriate for the material properties. I would not use it for manufacturing Formula I race car parts, but that's not what's being done here. That work safety practices that we see here are foreign to us, but they are appropriate for Pakistan (or India, if that is the case). That country has a long way to go before they will have work conditions similar to the western world, but they are progressing. If you want those people to starve, send them a million lawyers and safety inspectors. Also keep in mind that their cultural differences are reflected in their work places; you will probably never see any of these men come to work with a hangover.

I think it was the carriage moving back and forth. The gibs must be loose or the ways are worn out. Large cutting forces will do that to unhardened ways after a while. These people don't worry about cutting forces unless the motor stalls out. If it does they just slap a bigger motor on it.

Garbage in - garbage out. 12:40 drilling is a great example of low accuracy machining. They simply do not care about the quality beyond the "best quality" sticker.

Now, that is recycling! Always amazed by the process of sand casting. True craftsmanship!
This pump is immediately ready for recycling.
Great job👍Safety sandals at first🔥
Would like to see this and all other video , of finished product working please!
The precision that these pumps are made is in a league of it’s own and surpasses ISO 9001 standards 😁
Utter BS you made up.
😂😂😂
The best part of this is the recycling of materials.
Yes, they are making crap from scrap.

What did I just watch? Are those pumps made to last a few hours?
Some of these workers show actual contempt for the parts they are assembling. Throw it, slam it down, total disregard for sealing surfaces.
They ask what is sealing surface ,,lol😊
Don't tell them ..they can hold part and fill both sides of mold at same time no flipping lol😅😊
No they just knocking off the slag metal 😅
Don't think they are particularly happy in their work......but it's money

But how are the leather cup seals made?
24:50 I don't really know how those bolts we're able to line up. Given how recklessly the holes were drilled. No measurements or anything.
I'm guessing that they used a "good sized" clearance hole.

Good lord, that borer shaft has about 3mm of runout!
As long as the cutting edges are running concentric, the shaft doesn't matter.
