It's interesting to see how different the "vibe" is on this route versus the Frances. In only a 10 minute video, I am unable tell how much is related to the beach versus the more solemn, soul-stirring sights on the Frances, how much is related to hiking with friends/loved ones versus hiking alone, and how much is related to the merry-making music of Jimmy Buffett. My hope is when you are done, you will do an "Afterword" video and talk more about this...
Good suggestion! Portugal is a gorgeous country and the impression I have is that peregrinos are more walking through a beautiful country rather than a soul-searching Camino. And, the albergues, the schedule, the lack of communal meals, and the lack of infrastructure all make for a very different experience. And part of the vibe in the videos is I am not doing the same heavy lifting that I was doing on the Camino Frances. And, as a result, Jimmy Buffett songs add a much lighter atmosphere, than some of the songs from before. Although, there will be more introspection closer to Santiago, and definitely on the way to Finisterre.
