Your review pretty much convinced me to get this guitar, although I'm getting the floyd rose version. It sounds AMAZING for metal. Is this how this guitar sounds with a decent amp or do you use anything else to get this effect?
I have the same in black & gold, its very good, you just have to go easy on distortion, is very transparent in that matter, very sensitive.

Hi Johnny, have you experimented much with down tuning this guitar? What kind of tunings have you used and how does it handle them? I just recentley ordered mine and just waiting for it to be restocked and shipped to me :D
I haved change many tunings just d standard and e standard. I had no problem with tuning stability. Grover keys and the good nut get the job done
@@johnnymark3877 You think it could manage B standard with the right gauge strings?
@@nickdavies3759 i thing that cause of the machineheads alignment the strings will touch each other and that is the case in this style of headstocks. C standard with 12-56 strings is the heaviest I would try

Only review i saw of this guitar besides the thomann one on their store site where the sound is actually dialed in very decently and actually shows that the roswell actives are actually good , i mean its an active pickup why not dial in high gain ampw/ an overdrive ? Just preordered this , i can care less about the the minor cosmetics , I swing and bang my shit when i play anyway. I know for a fact that even owning a mid/high price EC model that I would never wanna pay 900 - 1000 dollars ever again.

Your fretboard looks so much darker than the pictures on Thomann website! Did it come like this? The only thing stopping me from getting this guitar is how light the fretboard is. It looks so much better darker!

i guess the fretboards are brown now...hate it...id order one in a second if it was still dark
the fretboard looks alot darker than the jatoba in the pics
I know it's very dark but the thomann store says it's jatoba
