Forgive me if you already know this but these cards are so funny to me because they translate as "this guy," that guy," which guy" and "that guy over there"
FYI Common Charity does not let you activate Tethys, because the last thing happening is not drawing cards but banishing a normal mon/discarding your hand.
Same issue like with Upstart Goblin, Tethys misses timing.
I like to pretend missing timing isn't a thing because it's such silly unnecessary mechanic

Is serius koitsu in edison don't tell me that the next video is "Toon in edison" for example.
Im not sure if common charity works with tethys, because you draw THEN banish, so that makes tethys miss timing. This is also why upstart goblin doesnt work with tethys, because you draw, THEN gain lp, so the last thing to happen wasnt drawing a card, and tethys is a when/you can effect.

For a revisited video, I would add "ultimate ness" and their ritual spell card/advanced ritual. After banishing the ritual spell, you can add 1 o the fairies used for the ritual summoning.
Also, honest and waboku, why not.

Never realized they were the one on fossil dig
I think they're unions becuse the Gradius normal monster has an Option union monster, these guys are from a silly spinoff called Parodius. No idea why they dig up fossils in yugioh though

Errata: for some reason, in Edison thetys does work in dmg step. Good to know, there are always new things to learn
Yep, the only legal effects for the damage step are:
mandatory effects,
counter trap cards,
effects that negate activations,
effects that directly modify atk/def (only before damage calc),
effects that trigger when a player takes damage,
effects that trigger on destruction by battle,
flip effects,
effects that trigger when the card itself is moved to a different location,
effects that say they can.
Tethys is none of these.
Usually you would be correct but tephys was ruled that you could back then because they made up the rules as they went

Yes, you can Summon Vortex, activate it's effect, chain Miraculous Descent to summon Tethys and on resolution if you drew a Fairy with Vortex trigger the Tethys. That's a play that also plays around another Bottomless or Torrential which is why going cl2 on those revival traps is pretty neat.

That last game when vortex was destroyed. If you drew a fairy, you couldn’t draw with Tethys again because Shura was CL1. Didn’t draw a fairy but thought you should know.

This is making me contemplate the "incredible potential" of running a different set of normal fairies than the Sexy Parodious quartet with this engine. Wingweaver is the strongest one but unfortunately she's level 7 so she's one level short from trade in and advanced draw shenanigans, but a beat stick is still a beatstick. Dunames Dark Witch has really cool artwork and is a decent level 4 beater so she can be used to pad space to increase the normal fairy count. But all that stuff's kind of boring I think the real cursed tech route would be making Mokey Mokey a thing in edison. Valhalla, limit reverse, and miraculous descent give us ways to special back our Mokey Mokey's to allow cards like inferno reckless summon to swarm the field with Mokey Mokey. Mokey Mokey smackdown if full filled would give all of our Mokey Mokey's 3000 attack to try and go for an otk. The deck would probably have to run some strong fairy floaters like Shining Angel and Nova Summoner so Mokey Mokey smackdown is easier to make live while also giving us more access to Mokey Mokey himself. There's also so much dumb normal and level 1 support we could contemplate running I feel like the skies kind of the limit here. If you manage to make a manly Mokey Mokey build in edison I'm sure Yanfly would've been proud ^.^
I have been looking at mokey mokey immediately after posting this! I agree completely there is some insanity to be had and I really like the idea of using pride of the weak with honest and mokey mokey smack down :) Maybe even some summoner of illusions shenanigans with the king! Thank you for your comment and I will definitely be looking into it!

I'd love to see you revist Common Charity fairies more competitively!
I remember using Koitsu in a deck with Mother Grisly just so I could special him out and then Creature Swap to my opponent so they'd have a monster with a huge level that I could destroy with KA-2 Des Scissors or Needle Burrower (who burns for 500 Life Points for each level your opponent has when they destroy a monster)
I messed around with this in GOAT format, so I wonder if there's any updating that would work well for Edison format.
Ngl kinda a weird episode, not that it was bad but didn't really feel very koitsu/aitsu focused, pretty much just Tethys draw engine into hand traps and setting up krystia, might have been better to split them into a hardcore tethys draw deck and a full on focused aitsu/koitsu deck
The point was trying to make them playable. Zuczid tried with the Tethys draw engine, albeit some illegal things like common charity will make this deck way less playable. You don't have to like what he has done. I understand if you wanted to see a much more focused version of them, though.
This is fair enough! The deck naturally minuses really hard so I was trying to figure out a way to get that card advantage back. Teyths was a cool option! But I think a creature swap, chaos end master deck could be cool!

Vayu's effects were negated because it was summoned via Shura's effect.
I think you ahoukd focus on aitsu and koitsu, the other 2 are worse/weaker and gives you more room

Edisonformat website has a ruling that Tethys CAN be activated in the damage step in Edison. Clowns in this comment section didn't even double check before incorrectly calling out Zuczid.
The synchro at 12:49 was illegal, since vayu can't be used as synchro material while face up on the field, wasn't it? Or do I not understand that card?😅
Vayu's effects were negated because it was summoned via Shura's effect.
