I actually drop the stitch i am trying to put on the darning needle. I got so fed up that i start and end with waste yarn and then put my stitches on with the darning needle. I can put the item closer to my face. Its working out much better for me. And i can reuse the waste yarn over and over. I love my mushroom 32. It is so smooth. Even better than the sentro 48.
You have to do what works for you. So glad you found a way. 😊
I do this as well as I feel I'm less likely to drop stitches

I love all your projects, they inspire me. I'm new to knitting machines but I have several, Addi and Sentro. I was wondering how you decide which machine to use for your projects? I have not heard of the Sentro Mushroom.
It really is just personal preference and what needle count I think would work best for the project. 😊

Could I use the 22 peg to make these? Also what do you think about making your machine electric instead of hand cranking? I have trouble with my hands and have a hard time cranking the machines for a long time? Could you make these on the 46 peg machine?
You could make these in any size machine.
Many people use the electric motor but it’s not something I personally have tried or will try. I like to watch as my needles pick up the stitches so I can control tension and watch for tucked stitches.
The machine you used here; was it with 40 needles ?

I have been debating getting a Sentro but there are so many terrible reviews.
Terrible on the 22 needle. I don’t have that one. I do love all my other Sentro’s but the quality doesn’t compare to an Addi.

Lol! It’s the 40 needle Sentro. It’s called a Mushroom because of the lid.
