Can you alternate between putting your right and left leg back as you do the flow a few times to keep even or should you always put your right leg back?
Wonderfully explained. Just wanted to clear up for myself.. after the mountain position, need to get the right leg in front, so that right leg in 90 degree and left is straight, as in the beginning it is the left leg at 90 degrees. This way both legs get the same stretch exercise in a single round. This is what I've seen from others, is that correct?

I was so confused seeing number of videos on "Surya Namaskara" but none of them had proper instructions step by step according to needs of their body and health issues, a complete tutorial is here, thanks a lot for teaching so briefly 🙏 I will definitely try this from tomorrow itself and will share this with my family and friends as well.
I have reduced more than 15 kg in a year. You can follow my strategy if you want 1. Avoid sugar( even in milk) 2. Take one cup of green tea BEFORE doing exercise ( will enhance the metabolism speed) 3. Instead of eating more grain or rice in your daily diet, eat more fruits and vegetables ( will give you adequate amount of fiber) 4. Eliminate ghee, butter from your Diet for a few months completely. Ghee is good for health but only when you're not overweight 5. Don't drink juices often, instead go for fresh fruits 6. Start running and skipping......invest more time in both after your body get used to it. So start with less exercise and then increase it accordingly with time. Also include yoga and meditation. 6. Do intermittent fasting ( once in 15 days will be good)- help in digestion of extra fat, good etc in your intestine. Also removes toxic products from your body. 7. Don't eat fast food or oily food often. More like eat it in once in 15 days or so, just to treat yourself for your efforts. 8. Last but most important- determination to not give all the above things. Daily exercise is must. Can take break for 2/3 days during menstruation period.

I like the way you explained I am obese and really not flexible and all excercise videos and yoga asana show postures for normal people. I've watched several videos of American yoga channels doing exercises but none of them put any emphasis on the posture and form. I first learnt yoga when I was 11 years old and the guru taught that even an inch of misalignment in your pose can lead to pain and injury if not corrected for a very long time. It is very crucial to perform yoga with correct form and posture. Thanks sir. I relived my childhood watching your explanation.

I had been taught the basics of suryanamaskaram back in school. Thought I'd go back to doing it. But had doubts like when exactly to breathe, how to place the toes in different postures, how far to stretch or bend and about what all to take care of. I m following Satyanand style of Surya Namaskar,same leg comes forward and next cycle other leg that completes one full cycle of Surya Namaskar

I had been taught the basics of suryanamaskaram back in school.
Thought I'd go back to doing it. But had doubts like when exactly to breathe, how to place the toes in different postures, how far to stretch or bend and about what all to take care of.
I thought I'd have to watch various videos in order to have a proper understanding of all these but your video is pretty exhaustive and helpful. Thanks a tonne!!!!

I cannot touch my hands down while bending down and sitting in one leg..i feel like i have short hands... i tried a lot but cannot keep my palm just the way she down even if i bend my knees like you said. What shall i do? Please tell me
