I’m really glad you put this together. ZHC’s behaviour has been bothering me so much ever since I started documenting his dishonesty for the last few years. It’s the fact that he thinks he’s smarter than everyone which makes him act so entitled. Using people is wrong and ZHC (Zach), didn’t care about giving them credit; his reaction in this video says it all when confronted about credit. Also, when part 1 came out, ZHC contacted me, despite having ghosted me for all these years. He panicked and tried to find an ally to manipulate to find out what Jazza was up to. I knew he wanted to manipulate me in finding out what I know behind the scenes. His excuse of “I’m young and I’m still learning” was sent to everyone. Sus. Also, the other sculptor that was needed for the collab with Ace of Clay was me (disclosure). ZHC basically got used to manipulating people with his high view count. Maybe with some tiktokers and RUclipsrs that might work, but those views don’t buy you real friendship
Shows how out of touch ZHC is. Jazza supports you publicly and privately (you’ve mentioned he gave advice when you were making your kit), yet ZHC expects after 3 years of radio silence that you’d come onboard and basically turn on Jazza. ZHC had zero integrity.

I have to say between your previous videos over the years and this one from Jazza about the corrupt youtubers, I am glad they are people I havent watched. At times in the long interview it sounds like he asks for time to think to allow other people to advise him on what to say.
To clarify: Chloe, vexx and I weren’t upset about the money being lower AT ALL. It’s because (and this is all my opinion) we flew across country, spent our time, money, resources etc and then at the last min before filming we find out (and this is paraphrasing) “oh hey by the way I didn’t tell you the truth of what im actually doing” and now we all have to go along with this lie that’s going out to 21 mil people… then to not get credited, was so disrespectful to what we do and our audience. Just because he doesn’t value our channels doesn’t mean it’s not valuable to us and our audience. In retrospect, it felt like He didn’t want to raise us up at all. Only person who needs to benefit is him (which is a pattern discussed in this video). We all gave him the benefit of the doubt but you can only burn so many bridges of true friends before you’re stranded alone….I hope the clout was worth it.
This 👆 we had no idea what we were even filming until the Tesla was driven out on camera. We never even knew there would be a prize for the winner until he revealed it on camera. Despite working 21.5 hours solidly, making art and content for the video, I had hoped since it was supposed to be a collab, and we were missing one- two uploads on our own channels, we’d have at least a link credit for our work. We thought we were going to film a fun challenge with friends and that was that. The deception on the Tesla value made us uncomfortable, but for me personally I was worried for Zach at the time - I remember telling Rae and only a couple other close friends what happened because I was concerned that if he would do this/deceive his audience and friends in this way if he did it to the wrong people, he’d get found out and get in trouble. That was the only context I personally ever mentioned it in. Then I began learning of things that were happening behind the scenes with other people, Further being asked to fly out during the pandemic for yet another collab despite me making it very apparent publicly I was not even leaving my house to keep my Mum safe. So yes, as rae said it was never about the money. None of us went expecting anything. It was the lack of credit we found a bit hurtful and the fact he treated us as if we were a bit stupid to not know what was happening
I was a follower of both Rae and Chloe channels! I stopped following both of you since when I started see you collaboratinf with ZHC... so not only he abuded of your time, but he damaged both of you aswell... now i'm happy i've seen those 2 videos... because since you (fairly) regret for that collabs i can start following you again!!! 😅😅

This is exactly how "exposing" videos should be done. Doing thorough research, showing interviews from a large variety of people involved, and not letting a lot of emotion cloud your judgement or display the subject through a distorted lens. I feel like you gave ZHC all the deserved opportunities to counter any claims against him, or make changes to his behaviour.
Agreed. Can't overstate how maturely Jazza handled this. He was unbiased, unemotional and let us hear out ZHC's take on everything he said. At the same time, he was stern and saw through ZHC's prevaricate response

Couldn't agree more, we as an art community are a strong pillar of genuine and kind people, and it's a shame the youtube algorithm favours this kind of shitty behaviour when there's so much hardwork going into such a large proportion of this community. We need more of this awareness spread.

Thank you so much for putting this together Jazza. So well researched and important for the community to know. There is so SO much more and this just scratches the surface. Zach started as someone who genuinely wanted to be a part of the community, or at least that’s how he made you feel. He would comment on my videos a lot when his channel was originally smaller than mine, same with my friends, and being invited to collab twice was huge and flattering. We all considered him a friend, and I’m sad it came to this. I’ve been told when we left he was critiquing all of our content, which isn’t what you do to a friend. Contact and comments obviously dwindled and stopped as time went on and he got more famous friends. We would’ve defended him as genuine friends, but things changed very quickly. But as time went on more and more started happening and so much more behind the scenes has happened to people. Fame and money can really change someone. Hearing more stories from people who can’t even talk about what happened. Pushing people to their limits for entertainment and using people isn’t fair so I’m glad you highlighted that. I really hope this raises some awareness of how important it is to be honest and how you need to treat people no matter what happened. Thank you for this video Jazza, you really stuck your neck out here to do what is right. You’re the best 👏

I'm a fan of every artist included in this video. I used to follow ZHC, but after that i felt like he was being a little repetitive and boring. Thank you all so much!

I feel like perhaps the Art Alliance would have never worked, not the way Zach intended it in any case. So I guess it's for the better and in a way I respect how hard Zach works and how dedicated he is to reaching his goals. The way he works to reach those goals is just not MY way of working and I feel he has lost the connection to the art community. I don't think artists out there can relate with him anymore. I guess he evolved from an Art RUclipsr into a Hype RUclipsr. The whole story made me extra aware of what I want to share online and what I want to give to the community. And that's spreading the joy of creating (and boy, you are the master of spreading the joy of creating!). I think being creative 'influencers' like that, is way more meaningful ❤So let me get back to it 😉

I’ve heard your name recommended so many times by people in Facebook groups, and seeing you in Jazza’s video was finally a prompt for me to subscribe to your channel. This wasn’t even a traditional collab, and yet somehow Jazza is supporting and promoting other artists, even in this.
Btw, can people stop calling this the "ZHC and Jazza" drama? This is about ZHC's terrible treatment of smaller artists. Jazza is a respected member of the art community who amplified the voices of those Zach didn't give a shit about.
Jazza, I appreciate you dedicating the time to investigate and bring awareness to a situation that’s been hurtful to many folks in our art community. Honesty and respect for others is so important. Far more important than views, fame, or money. To all those who have been affected by this - I am so incredibly sorry for your experiences. It breaks my heart some viewers allegedly never received the prizes they won too - especially if they were children with high hopes. I had a very short period of time where I followed ZHC closely and it was seriously depressing. The community was a bunch of kids begging to win the next giveaway, some saying simply "please let me win, I really want a phone" for example and others lying about horrible stuff happening to them just to convince him they deserved to win. It became too depressing so I left.
i feel like jazzas soft “c’mon zach..” is telling, he doesn’t hate him, he doesn’t want him canceled, he just wants to know his side of the story and for him to be better
I feel like thats a good attitude if balanced like Jazza has, it's bad to be too soft because you don't want the other person to walk away and just shrug it off and you don't want to be too aggressive because then there's no way for an opinion to change

Jazza I already respected you, but you my friend surpassed my expectations. I'm a newer subscriber, only been subscribed for a few months and I just gotta say, off the bat I think you have great art content. I admired your willingness to explore and try new mediums and push the boundaries of creativity. That's what a true artist is, a person who loves to create. With all of that being said, you are an excellent person of character. So hard to find that. RUclips for me leaves that bad taste in your mouth from creators like ZHC and I avoid them. Zach King being the exception as far as big content creators go. I even avoided watching these ZHC videos because I honestly thought clickbait, but today I thought I would finally watch. You did a great job handling all of this. Thank you for your honesty and willingness to right the wrongs and hold them to that accountability. Great job, good sir.
Honestly, if I could've had him back in high school (took a design and art kind of branch) it would have been the best years of my life. Instead, I had a teacher that called herself "the Dragon" and made us cry. Yeah, Jazza would have been 100000 times better!
Seeing all the crap ZHC was putting Viv through, and then seeing her APOLOGIZE for it really hurt to see. I hope things go well for her and she can put all of her passion and drive into something that will be good for her in the long run before Zach burns her out.
So, they were doing a challenge, about sports, and it was a team collaboration, it was like every km you run, you give a subsciber $50 or so, but if someone stopped running, you cant earn the subsrcriber anymore money. Alot of people were disappointed in Viv as she couldnit run anymore, and put hate comments. On instagram, Viv explained to her followers and ZHC followers that she has ashtma and can't run for a long period of time. Jazza then says, Viv was hired as an employee for 'Art and Crafts' not sports, because if she would have known there was sports, she wouldn't have accepted because of her condition

All these things upset me, but the part where Viv failed the *running* challenge on a *arts and crafts* channel and had to apologize for *having freaking athsma* absolutely enraged me. I sincerely hoped he learned from these videos and changed his ways. I obviously didn't do an in depth dive to his videos and I never have nor ever plan to watch him, but his most recent video (as of commenting this, 8 months after this exposing video came out) is a collab with a bunch of other RUclipsrs and he did link to all their channels so that's good I suppose
Seeing Viv apologize for not winning money when she has asthma is horrific. I'm not going to claim to know what's going on within their workplace or their dynamic but no one should ever be made to feel sorry for not hurting themselves enough for another person, especially strangers. I hope she and the other crew members can renegotiate for fairer conditions, if they want to continue working there. Boundaries are important. I had other thoughts about the other stuff but this is the one that really drove a knife into me.

Thanks for acknowledging this. As someone with asthma I've always felt bad for being slower than the other kids in physical ed. One year, on the pacer test I'd only gotten like 11 'laps.' Meanwhile, I saw the person I was paired with who got like 80 and I felt discouraged, tears threatened to come from my eyes yet I held them in. I thought I shouldn't cry over something stupid and that would have no affect on my future.
I would also add, just to everyone out there, take this as a reminder, never put your own comfort, limits, or boundaries on the line for anyone, especially not a "job". They do not care about you, and will replace you in a second. Don't risk your safety or sanity for someone else.
I do not trust an individual that cannot show their face during an interview; especially when they have their face all over their own channel. He will also not change unless it benefits himself-- my opinion.
I've been ignoring this two-part series for a while now, because videos with youtuber drama are almost always clickbait. But I was wrong. This is such a powerful analysis of not just a specific youtuber but rather a social media phenomenon as a whole. You really went the extra mile to give a fair review, self-reflect, and look at one event from several angles, addressing some very important issues. Very impressed. You gave us like an entire documentary.

I had avoided it for much the same reason, usually when a video is titled “so-and-so is exposed” like part one was, a lot of times it goes in a more joke-y direction and they’re really buddies or it goes super petty and dramatic. I used to follow ZHC and when he started the giveaways and the fake Tinder date thing, his content started to make my skin crawl. Like the whole thing felt super fake and self-serving. I didn’t want Jazza heading in that direction. I’m glad to see the direction that this actually took
This is still kind of soft on him. It's bad that he's a terrible friend and collaborator, but the flex culture and manipulation of a young audience is really bad. The way he uses charity as a guise to line his wallet and raise his profile is arguably even worse and needs to be talked about as well.
There's other very bug youtubers I can think of that do this but if you say it a million people jump down your neck. It's hard to stand up against stuff and people like this.
Carma has his name and his popularity will fad and he will end up an ugly nobody begging in the street for what he has dun pepol are walking up to him and his bs and hopfuly he will loose it all for his wicked treatment of all thows he has walked over to get to where he is now... now they can walk over him to get the credit thay deserve and he will hit the floor hard...I hope sooner rather than later

I never knew him and seeing this video alone I don't even want to. He should be in prison because at the end of the day he scams people.
Jazza is the dad and protector of the art community. Essentially, "im disappointed in you"/ "you fucked up, stop bein stupid", it made me go "oooof, someone has upset jazza, im ready for a brawl". I couldnt watch zhcs videos with the giveaways and shit, too clickbaity for me and boring af. This was very well done and insightful, great job! Well worth the wait.
This is such a good “exposing” video because it doesn’t come from a place of anger and defensiveness, rather a place of genuinely wanting to better the art community as a whole, whether that means (1) educating content creators that have a hand in shaping the community or (2) educating viewers on what to be on the lookout for. Jazza has been such a huge part of the art community that I follow and engage with on RUclips, and I can’t help but be thankful for him trying to protect the integrity of this community, all the while being both respectful and honest. After watching the series, I think ZHC is a successful content creator on RUclips, for better and definitely for worse. His level of “clickbaiting” is what RUclips incentivizes which benefits both RUclips and him, and the blame can be distributed between both. He’s a dishonest person, and he practically scams people which is all on him, but it wouldn’t have gotten this far if RUclips didn’t actively reward this behavior, so it’s a larger issue. It’s the entire culture of RUclips as a platform. I hope that changes soon.
I agree.. Nowadays young content creators are being inspired by such approach, cuz that's what gets attention on RUclips.. They try to behave like mr beast, just like zhc did. I'm not hating mr beast at all, because he seems to be genuine in his own personality, but the people who try to act like him do so because they think they need to be a certain personality to get fame.
I just appreciate that Jazza directly talked to him. Like, my man has some balls, being able to confront people about their wrongdoings is something not a lot of people can or know how to do. He just did it and in a completely respectful way too.

I can understand why this took so long. Jazza really has a way with words, and this was a very well done and respectful account and depiction of what has been happening. The fact that Jazza took the time to not only get his side of things, but other creators and even Zach shows just how much time and effort he put into this. He also follows through with what Zach didn't, linking everyone who showed so that not only can those creators be heard, but also so that they can gain maybe even the tiniest amount of viewership from this that they deserved from the videos with Zach. Thank you Jazza for trying and performing so well. We are greatful.

That's so one thousand percent wrong that she felt so badly about it that she had to address the audience about her private conditions. He should have known and respected her limits as a friend, but it shows that he is no ones friend.
Honestly, anything could have happened. She could have passed out. As someone who’s passed out due to heart issues that caused me to lose my breath once it’s not a comfortable feeling see someone feel horrible for not doing something they arent able too. I hope Viv is okay

I get it, you don't want people to know you're paying for them to essentially work for your videos but if he said it in the interview, he could've said I pay them but they are my friends or smth. Because what if this isn't the only thing he misleads the audience about? It puts that question out when it shouldn't exist in the first place.

As someone with carpal tunnel/ RSI when you mentioned that whole thing in Part 1 and then him doing super long drawing marathons, I'm like I COULD NEVER! So frustrating to use something that can be legitimately debilitating for people to get views! And then manipulating smaller viewers... ew!

The way Jazza said "Come on, Zach" when he is bullsh*tting about the links, damn man, that cut right through him lol, mad respect for Jazza for directly confronting him with candidness and gusto.
Using phrases like "i believe...." when answering EVERY SINGLE question is a red flag. Same tactics liars use. It also speaks volumes that he doesn't show his face on camera in the interview. To me that says he's insecure & trying to hide something. Also, the fact that he used EBAY to value a Tesla is absurd. You look at MSRP. This guy knows he is being shady and now he's doing damage control for being called out. His actions are obvious here.
really? My English teachers and professors said that you should always use “I believe” in place of “I think” in our persuasive essays. (And yeah, if you’re going to do an interview to convince people you’re good, you’re gonna use “I believe”. It’s not toxic in of itself to persuade people, it’s the conditions surrounding it that make something insidious. This is why you’d never use this sort of analysis in a court.) Simply put, I don’t think that phrase is a red flag in of itself. (If any of this sounds a defense, it’s not, I had no idea zhk even existed. This is just my limited understanding of English analysis and psychology. To me, this guy is just a David dobrik copy, a guy who is at the top and lost his stop. Copy as in just as bad)

I followed ZHC at the ground floor years ago as I started my own indie comic. Even then I could tell his art style was ripping off one of the greats: David Finch. I put that aside for the pure need to hear something in the background as I drew and produced my own comic book. Then it hit me. His chanel blew up as him being a comic srtist and yet he never produced nor launched a kickstarter for his own book. What ever clout the title of comic artist added to his origin was hollow since he never produced one book. He drew in a comic style but never did anything for the comics industry. Knowing the industries rates I watched him throw around money to giveaways that real comic book pros have worked a lifetime to yet never even earn. Once it became about iphones and clexing on how much money he had I dropped his chanel and never looked back. I'm glad fo have found Jazza. This summer my kids and I will be doing lots of fun art projects in the garage inspired by Jazza's videos on discovering how. Like spiral paint buckets etc.
in his defense, this specifically is probably not a lie. at least, I don't know what the alternative/truth would be. Unless we're spinning a narrative that he's explicitly malicious and has some vendetta against these people's URLs, he probably did just not think it was that important to give links so felt like it was okay to go with the more compact @s. There's selfishly using people for fame and then there's actively not wanting people to benefit. I may be giving him too much rope here, but he hasn't given me cartoon villain vibes. He didn't leave off the links because of "links looking unpleasant", but if he was being honest he would have said that he honestly was being selfish and not really thinking or caring about the impact that this had on other people. It is very obvious after this video that he is someone who solely thinks about his own growth and doesn't care about bringing the people around him up too. And just as Jazza talked about, he put his OWN link into the descriptions when he came out with merch... So it just feels like a plain excuse on ZHC's part, instead of owning up to the fact that maybe he isn't as high and mighty as he thought he was. For the record, I don't think he is a bad person, but I do think that he needs to own up to these mistakes and make changes to be a more honest and maybe less selfish person.

All I did was say that he probably didn't lie about the URL thing. 2) I asked 1 question and my hypothetical "unless we..." answer was purposefully obtuse. I guess that wasn't obvious to you and you actually think he is explicitly malicious and hates other peoples' URLs but to me, that's a ridiculous proposition with no evidence. Zachs answers make me sad. All the other artists he let down articulated themselves so well and with such confidence. Zach wanted to do the interview but it felt like he underestimated the critical questions that were about to come his way and now it feels that with a lot of words he said absolutely nothing. I will edit this comment if my thoughts have changed after watching the whole interview but I do not think that will happen
He's on damage control, he took the interview because he wants to try and save his name. Then when he was asked "why aren't these artists credited in these videos" his response being "i didn't know they weren't credited", and that right there is the damning statement, the fact he doesn't know, or take this seriously, shows he does not care. He is using people, plane and simple, and what we are seeing is that he is learning how to use people in ways that look legitimate. For example his employees, cool, he has a formal pay process for their services, but seeing someone apologise for having asthma is unacceptable. Zack is putting himself deeper and deeper into a spiral of abuse, he abuses trust, he abuses desire, he abuses emotions, he needs to own up, shape up or fall hard.

It's bad enough she felt she had to apologize from it, but it will be even worse if he takes that and lashes against her for it because of people going after him for it too. For some reason, I feel that Zach is the type of person who would do that while the camera was off at this moment in time... though I can only say from what I see on these videos and not knowing him personally, but I have heard of other creators that seem in the same ballpark as he is do that to others around them.

i used to watch zhc when i was younger and stopped once his content seemed like mr beast but art, yet also feeling really shallow at the same time. i enjoy mr beasts videos, ive always been cautious because his vids seem too good to be true, but zachs just seemed like.. empty? i guess?
I think the saddest thing is: nothing will change for ZHC - kids will continue to watch his channel. Not for art but for perks and competitions, and it seems to be a business model that works. Rather than fostering creativity it’s all about “give me stuff”.
But at least maybe for the artists coming up, they will see this and not let him use them because they will know that he doesn’t follow through on his supprt

The fact that Viv was forced to run, even though she has asthma, even though she is not an athlete and her job was supposed to revolve around arts and crafts rather than running, and after everything she felt like she had to apologise on instagram, because people bullied her in the comments, that has like major school bullying energy. You know, the vulnerable kid that isn't very athletic gets made fun of by the popular bully and the entire school thinks it's so funny this kid has asthma and can't run. It's kind of sickening.
The only thing I could see in a positive side of the physical arrive of the challenges is to promote health. I do understand that I'm probly giving him too much credit. Just felt like giving him a sliver of justification.
The change in tone from the 1st one also helps you know how authentic his feeling are. Like he really tried to give Zach a chance, but just couldn't justify anything he did and I think that frustrated him as well. He didn't want to go into this to bash someone like that and was probably mad that he had to.

I used to watch ZHC years ago when I was in art school but once he started shifting his content style to all of those large projects for publicity that’s when I stopped watching because his vibe was just different. After that I pretty much forgot about him and it’s really disappointing that this is what his career has come to. He has so much talent and sadly the fame and money has gone to his head.
Yeah, I used to watch his videos too back when he made videos of drawing with a friend of his who couldn't draw and stuff like that. Once the clickbaity stuff started I stopped watching, and as it kept going I unsubscribed. I didn't watch any of those videos, so I don't know what the vibe was, but the titles and the thumbnails just felt wrong. Now it seems like the guy turned out to be a scam artist. Very disappointing.

everyones gotta realize that nothings gonna come from this video. As long as youtube favors this kind of behavior, and ZHC finds success doing what hes doing, hes not gonna change. I appreciate you making this video to call out this kind of behavior, but ultimately nothings gonna change till the system makes changes.
I think the purpose of the video wasn't to get rid of Zach's audience, but to call Zach to be better and make the art community aware so something like this doesn't happen again.
True, I used to watch him back in 2018 (?), but I stopped watching after a while. But even though I stopped watching him, I steel feel this urge to defend him.
Honestly, I'm disgusted at Zacks treatment to his "employees". From working them for 2 days straight, bragging about it, to bullying a girl with ASTHMA for not being able to run fast. The fact that he's willing to have next to no friends (because of the manipulation) and still be able to sleep at night even after manipulating, deceving, using, and abusing people is horrible.

Assuming you didn’t see the broccoli video then. Whether it was a joke or not he borderline forced her to “redeem” herself for not eating the broccoli earlier by eating multiple pieces of it at the end of the video. She literally got thousands of hate messages because she did not want to consume something her body practically rejects (I begin to gag and vomit with broccoli too, everyone does with food they don’t like). She broke down and even apologized for it which should have never happened. I used to be a big fan of Zach’s channel before the manipulative give always but I’ve unfollowed his social medias and rarer watch his videos. Tired of seeing a comment section filled with “can I have an iPhone I really need one”

I just want to commend you and those interviewed for taking such a large risk in coming out and sharing this information. What you've done is immensely important and I hope that the future of youtube is filled with well-researched videos such as this one.
For artists that both look up and strive to be like ZHC, or how he used to be, this is heartbreaking to see. For those of us who fight to even grow our audience and cherish even the small amount of recognition this is hard to fathom. We all have dreams and if I was asked by a top youtuber to come and collaborate with them on a piece of art, that would be life changing! But to see how the "unknown" artists are treated makes me want to just stay humble with my craft and grow on my own. I appreciate you Jazza, over the many years of watching your channel and you grow with it, one thing still hits home.. You care about artists as a whole and a top icon for the art community.

I totally agree. The crazy thing to me in this situation is I think this guy is fully aware of his actions and the way he's treated people and probably has been since the very beginning. I dont buy into this color scheme this is me my hype youtube art influencer aesthetic but oh my silly mistake for not crediting other hard working creatives bullsh*t. Its all way too cold and calculated to just be a casual mistake when its the same thing over and over again. Anyone who watches influencers with those types of selfish personalities knows they do their research and know how to rack up the superficial popularity that the creative art community doesnt represent. Had he been in their shoes he would have fought tooth and nail for his rightful credit if someone tried to do the same to him. I wanna give him some credit for seemingly trying to mend things by changing titles and adding some peoples' credits, but like @Jazza said the damage is done dude and he knew it was from the beginning when he decided not to give proper links and rake in the credit for himself. If he overall is able to see all this and genuinely change then I'll eat my words, but even right now it's too early to tell if there will be a genuine change in the way others are treated on those types of channels. I'm ranting too much but this type of social media growth is just toxic. I do hope things work out and change for the best. Thanks Jazza.
@@gabrieltoscano4440 yes.. And some new art RUclipsrs are going out zhc's style and approach to get famous as well, which isn't a genuine way.. I've seen some collaborating and customizing expensive stuff and setting a type of competition in vids to create hype.. This approach would wrongly influence new and young art RUclipsrs into thinking that they need to be a certain type of personality (like zhc tries to do like mr beast) to gain in the RUclips community.
You approached this so respectfully and cautiously for everyone involved, well done. I hope this acts as a wake up call, not just for Zach, but for other channels who are heading down the same path.

ZHC has always just rubbed me the wrong way. Never enjoyed his videos. When I saw my son watching the videos I would turn them off and put Jazza or something on. Something that my child that loves to draw could actually learn something about drawing. Now my son loves watching Jazza’s videos and I’ll find him in his room watching a video and drawing. So all in all thank you Jazza for inspiring my 9 year old!
Thank you for watching over your child, it seems obvious and irrelevant to thank someone for that, but I've seen too much of bad parenting leading to disasters. And what you do is a contribution to your family, community, country and the world. Its not far fetched, if we assumed each person can influence at least 10 people in their life, if the influence got carried to 6 people that's already a million, as 10^6= 1M.
I'm of a similar opinion to yourself. I monitor what my son is watching on RUclips because there are just too many dodgy things that go on if you don't. Until recently it was pretty much limited to walk-throughs for games but I showed him some Jazza and Nerdforge videos a few months ago and now he asks to watch more often. He's really keen to improve his drawing skills and Jazza is his favourite.
I honestly had no idea who ZHC is, but ZHC seems like a RiceGum knock-off of the art community. I subbed to Jazza because of his charisma and his content is just plain fun to watch. Thank you Jazza.

Jazza's little "come on zach" at 11:17 really got me. There are a lot of interviewers who refuse to do something like this and just let people give the most bullshit answers and continue on with the interview in fears of scaring the interviewee into shutting down and not answering. I'm glad Jazza is pushing this with as much true evidence, fairness, and perspective as possible 10/10 shit, you don't see this stuff very often in this age of youtube
To be fair, i think there is a valid case for letting them say their bit without pressure or whatnot so they can address things. Famously, Murrow did this with McCarthy, offering (unprompted) his See It Now time slot to air any response that McCarthy had to address the criticisms against him. This he did (McCarthy choosing to send them a video reel which they played in full). Afterwards, Murrow observed how McCarthy, despite having claimed Murrow was misrepresenting him, lying and whatnot, did not identify any claims Murrow had made that he even considered factually inaccurate (instead, McCarthy just took the time to try and claim Murrow was a communist and made some factually false statements of his own). It really was a great example of Murrow's integrity as a reporter in how he dealt with McCarthy.

Murrow made a hit piece towards McCarthy and then McCarthy replied with his own "hit piece" claiming Murrow was a communist without addressing Murrow's points and then Murrow responded to it, there was no interview in the process. It wasn't an interview, it was a response. Like if someone made a RUclips video about someone else and that other person made a RUclips video back, there was no actual conversation of it between them directly. the thing the person who made the first comment is talking about here is direct interviews of people and how interviewers will just let something obviously bs slide, what Murrow did wasn't an interview so it's not comparable to this contextual decision. What would be comparable is how Jazza, like Murrow, let ZHC respond to his allegations before making further points and giving him fair ground to respond to them.
I rarely ever see someone interviewing negative influencers, be so, so gentle with what they're being accused of, turn around and say "I was too soft on him" and still turn around and treat them with probably far more gentleness and softness than they probably deserve. It really does go to show the kind of kindness Jazza tries to cultivate in his own community. A truth to be told, but not a truth so important that it comes before an attempt at human decency. If I were in Jazza's shoes, I honestly couldn't be as graceful. I recognize that some of this is needed, as a professional, but some outrage is expected after having some of the biggest names in ArtTube come forth and say "he's literally always been a snake". Especially when Jazza has worked with some of these people, some even calling him their friend. Just. Good on you, Jazza. Not many people can balance truth with kindness. It's hard. But fuck Zack. My personal opinion. (Respect to any mods who see this and decide it's probably not good to leave up here.)

He may donate money but it's because he knows his videos and sponsorships will make that cost back 10 fold. Thanks for making this! So here's a confession from me: Despite being an artist myself and having done a few stabs at making art-related videos on RUclips, I've never ever come across ZHC. The artists I follow is for specific reasons; fx. Mary Doodles because she was in Epic Rap Battles Of History, you because I was searching for some original takes on fan art (and man, please make more of that - such as drawing heroes as villains and vice versa, I learn so much from it), Aleksei Vinogradov for his ProCreate brushes, Draw With Isabella for her pencil artworks, Robert Marzullo for his drawing tutorials, SamDoesArts for his funny perspectives and art style - and there's a bunch of others I can't list at the top of my head, and I'm too lazy to go through my subscriptions list to mention them all... but the point is, despite having been active with folllowing other artists and creating content myself for roughly a decade, I've never seen any of ZHC's videos - none that come to mind, anyway, and nothing that made me subscribe. Thanks for keeping it honest and for doing a great work on your channel!

That’s how it always is. People obsess over RUclipsrs and even after confirmed evidence they’re like “people change” and other shit. No, they don’t, not them at least. There’s plenty of RUclipsrs I’ve written of because of them turning into clout hogs, for example, Carter Sherer and his friends. At this point everything is scripted.

Thank you for this. I’m a new artist, and so have only “known” some of the RUclips artists for a short while. Having said that, I recognized most of the artists in this video, and was appalled that these people who give so freely of their talents were taken advantage of in such a manner. Artists, if it’s worth anything at all, you have taught me so much and have inspired me incredibly. Oh, and I must confess there was only one artist in the video who I wasn’t familiar with, and that was…. ZHC himself. Oops. :)

As an influencer, you realize that you have a platform to entertain and inform, both of which can help you persuade others. From your videos, I get that you do it for the entertainment or conveyance of information. And you are aware of the weight that your content carries. That last quote, the one I mentioned at the very top, is just the cherry on top of a very well-done, well-accomplished sundae. And one solid reason why I enjoy your videos (and your Tabletop Time collaborations). You. Get it.
The thing that's most infuriating is that these disingenuous collabs have been happening for months or years. It's not a one day fit or lapse in judgement. He consciously took all decisions irrespective of his conscience and just benefitted from it. It's sad how editing shady stuff out and being disingenuous can reward you so much.

Honestly as someone who considers herself a maker and fiber artist, I cant imagine working DAYS STRAIGHT on a project and not getting properly credited and not getting a percentage of the overall monetary profit of the video. Jazza, big props to you, this definitely took big guts to put out there and has risk to you. The art community is with you and thank you for valuing the integrity and ethics of artists.
I remember watching Zach's vids in 2018 but he stopped going into my recommended page for a few years. Looked him up because I remembered his comic book artstyle and was looking forward to seeing his artistic improvement. I was so saddened to know that his own drawings seem to be a thing of the past. I’m really glad you put this together. ZHC’s behaviour has been bothering me so much ever since I started documenting his dishonesty for the last few years. It’s the fact that he thinks he’s smarter than everyone which makes him act so entitled. Using people is wrong and ZHC (Zach), didn’t care about giving them credit; his reaction in this video says it all when confronted about credit. Also, when part 1 came out, ZHC contacted me, despite having ghosted me for all these years. He panicked and tried to find an ally to manipulate to find out what Jazza was up to. I knew he wanted to manipulate me in finding out what I know behind the scenes. His excuse of “I’m young and I’m still learning” was sent to everyone. Sus. Also, the other sculptor that was needed for the collab with Ace of Clay was me (disclosure). ZHC basically got used to manipulating people with his high view count. Maybe with some tiktokers and RUclipsrs that might work, but those views don’t buy you real friendship

I have to say between your previous videos over the years and this one from Jazza about the corrupt youtubers, I am glad they are people I havent watched. At times in the long interview it sounds like he asks for time to think to allow other people to advise him on what to say.
To clarify: Chloe, vexx and I weren’t upset about the money being lower AT ALL. It’s because (and this is all my opinion) we flew across country, spent our time, money, resources etc and then at the last min before filming we find out (and this is paraphrasing) “oh hey by the way I didn’t tell you the truth of what im actually doing” and now we all have to go along with this lie that’s going out to 21 mil people… then to not get credited, was so disrespectful to what we do and our audience. Just because he doesn’t value our channels doesn’t mean it’s not valuable to us and our audience. In retrospect, it felt like He didn’t want to raise us up at all. Only person who needs to benefit is him (which is a pattern discussed in this video). We all gave him the benefit of the doubt but you can only burn so many bridges of true friends before you’re stranded alone….I hope the clout was worth it.
This 👆 we had no idea what we were even filming until the Tesla was driven out on camera. We never even knew there would be a prize for the winner until he revealed it on camera. Despite working 21.5 hours solidly, making art and content for the video, I had hoped since it was supposed to be a collab, and we were missing one- two uploads on our own channels, we’d have at least a link credit for our work.
We thought we were going to film a fun challenge with friends and that was that. The deception on the Tesla value made us uncomfortable, but for me personally I was worried for Zach at the time - I remember telling Rae and only a couple other close friends what happened because I was concerned that if he would do this/deceive his audience and friends in this way if he did it to the wrong people, he’d get found out and get in trouble. That was the only context I personally ever mentioned it in. Then I began learning of things that were happening behind the scenes with other people, Further being asked to fly out during the pandemic for yet another collab despite me making it very apparent publicly I was not even leaving my house to keep my Mum safe.
So yes, as rae said it was never about the money. None of us went expecting anything. It was the lack of credit we found a bit hurtful and the fact he treated us as if we were a bit stupid to not know what was happening

This is exactly how "exposing" videos should be done. Doing thorough research, showing interviews from a large variety of people involved, and not letting a lot of emotion cloud your judgement or display the subject through a distorted lens. I feel like you gave ZHC all the deserved opportunities to counter any claims against him, or make changes to his behaviour.

Thank you so much for putting this together Jazza. So well researched and important for the community to know. There is so SO much more and this just scratches the surface. Zach started as someone who genuinely wanted to be a part of the community, or at least that’s how he made you feel. He would comment on my videos a lot when his channel was originally smaller than mine, same with my friends, and being invited to collab twice was huge and flattering. We all considered him a friend, and I’m sad it came to this. I’ve been told when we left he was critiquing all of our content, which isn’t what you do to a friend.
Contact and comments obviously dwindled and stopped as time went on and he got more famous friends. We would’ve defended him as genuine friends, but things changed very quickly.
But as time went on more and more started happening and so much more behind the scenes has happened to people. Fame and money can really change someone. Hearing more stories from people who can’t even talk about what happened. Pushing people to their limits for entertainment and using people isn’t fair so I’m glad you highlighted that. I really hope this raises some awareness of how important it is to be honest and how you need to treat people no matter what happened.

I feel like perhaps the Art Alliance would have never worked, not the way Zach intended it in any case. So I guess it's for the better and in a way I respect how hard Zach works and how dedicated he is to reaching his goals. The way he works to reach those goals is just not MY way of working and I feel he has lost the connection to the art community. I don't think artists out there can relate with him anymore. I guess he evolved from an Art RUclipsr into a Hype RUclipsr. The whole story made me extra aware of what I want to share online and what I want to give to the community. And that's spreading the joy of creating (and boy, you are the master of spreading the joy of creating!). This wasn’t even a traditional collab, and yet somehow Jazza is supporting and promoting other artists, even in this.

I had a very short period of time where I followed ZHC closely and it was seriously depressing. The community was a bunch of kids begging to win the next giveaway, some saying simply "please let me win, I really want a phone" for example and others lying about horrible stuff happening to them just to convince him they deserved to win. It became too depressing so I left.

Jazza I already respected you, but you my friend surpassed my expectations. I'm a newer subscriber, only been subscribed for a few months and I just gotta say, off the bat I think you have great art content. I admired your willingness to explore and try new mediums and push the boundaries of creativity. That's what a true artist is, a person who loves to create. With all of that being said, you are an excellent person of character. So hard to find that. RUclips for me leaves that bad taste in your mouth from creators like ZHC and I avoid them. Zach King being the exception as far as big content creators go. I even avoided watching these ZHC videos because I honestly thought clickbait, but today I thought I would finally watch. Just want to say that Jazza is like the art teacher we’d all wish for. He’s creative, funny, encouraging, sometimes annoying and especially honest.
Honestly, if I could've had him back in high school (took a design and art kind of branch) it would have been the best years of my life. Instead, I had a teacher that called herself "the Dragon" and made us cry.

So, they were doing a challenge, about sports, and it was a team collaboration, it was like every km you run, you give a subsciber $50 or so, but if someone stopped running, you cant earn the subsrcriber anymore money. Alot of people were disappointed in Viv as she couldnit run anymore, and put hate comments. On instagram, Viv explained to her followers and ZHC followers that she has ashtma and can't run for a long period of time. Jazza then says, Viv was hired as an employee for 'Art and Crafts' not sports, because if she would have known there was sports, she wouldn't have accepted because of her condition

All these things upset me, but the part where Viv failed the *running* challenge on a *arts and crafts* channel and had to apologize for *having freaking athsma* absolutely enraged me. I sincerely hoped he learned from these videos and changed his ways. I obviously didn't do an in depth dive to his videos and I never have nor ever plan to watch him, but his most recent video (as of commenting this, 8 months after this exposing video came out) is a collab with a bunch of other RUclipsrs and he did link to all their channels so that's good I suppose
Seeing Viv apologize for not winning money when she has asthma is horrific. I'm not going to claim to know what's going on within their workplace or their dynamic but no one should ever be made to feel sorry for not hurting themselves enough for another person, especially strangers.
I hope she and the other crew members can renegotiate for fairer conditions, if they want to continue working there. Boundaries are important.

Thanks for acknowledging this. As someone with asthma I've always felt bad for being slower than the other kids in physical ed. One year, on the pacer test I'd only gotten like 11 'laps.' Meanwhile, I saw the person I was paired with who got like 80 and I felt discouraged, tears threatened to come from my eyes yet I held them in. I thought I shouldn't cry over something stupid and that would have no affect on my future.

I've been ignoring this two-part series for a while now, because videos with youtuber drama are almost always clickbait. But I was wrong. This is such a powerful analysis of not just a specific youtuber but rather a social media phenomenon as a whole. You really went the extra mile to give a fair review, self-reflect, and look at one event from several angles, addressing some very important issues. Very impressed. I had avoided it for much the same reason, usually when a video is titled “so-and-so is exposed” like part one was, a lot of times it goes in a more joke-y direction and they’re really buddies or it goes super petty and dramatic. I used to follow ZHC and when he started the giveaways and the fake Tinder date thing, his content started to make my skin crawl. Like the whole thing felt super fake and self-serving. I didn’t want Jazza heading in that direction. I’m glad to see the direction that this actually took
This is still kind of soft on him. It's bad that he's a terrible friend and collaborator, but the flex culture and manipulation of a young audience is really bad. The way he uses charity as a guise to line his wallet and raise his profile is arguably even worse and needs to be talked about as well.
There's other very bug youtubers I can think of that do this but if you say it a million people jump down your neck. It's hard to stand up against stuff and people like this.

Jazza is the dad and protector of the art community. Essentially, "im disappointed in you"/ "you fucked up, stop bein stupid", it made me go "oooof, someone has upset jazza, im ready for a brawl". I couldnt watch zhcs videos with the giveaways and shit, too clickbaity for me and boring af. This was very well done and insightful, great job! Well worth the wait.
This is such a good “exposing” video because it doesn’t come from a place of anger and defensiveness, rather a place of genuinely wanting to better the art community as a whole, whether that means (1) educating content creators that have a hand in shaping the community or (2) educating viewers on what to be on the lookout for.
Jazza has been such a huge part of the art community that I follow and engage with on RUclips, and I can’t help but be thankful for him trying to protect the integrity of this community, all the while being both respectful and honest.
After watching the series, I think ZHC is a successful content creator on RUclips, for better and definitely for worse. His level of “clickbaiting” is what RUclips incentivizes which benefits both RUclips and him, and the blame can be distributed between both. He’s a dishonest person, and he practically scams people which is all on him, but it wouldn’t have gotten this far if RUclips didn’t actively reward this behavior, so it’s a larger issue. It’s the entire culture of RUclips as a platform. I hope that changes soon.

I can understand why this took so long. Jazza really has a way with words, and this was a very well done and respectful account and depiction of what has been happening. The fact that Jazza took the time to not only get his side of things, but other creators and even Zach shows just how much time and effort he put into this. He also follows through with what Zach didn't, linking everyone who showed so that not only can those creators be heard, but also so that they can gain maybe even the tiniest amount of viewership from this that they deserved from the videos with Zach. Thank you Jazza for trying and performing so well. We are greatful.

Using phrases like "i believe...." when answering EVERY SINGLE question is a red flag. Same tactics liars use. It also speaks volumes that he doesn't show his face on camera in the interview. To me that says he's insecure & trying to hide something.
Also, the fact that he used EBAY to value a Tesla is absurd. You look at MSRP. This guy knows he is being shady and now he's doing damage control for being called out. His actions are obvious here.

(And yeah, if you’re going to do an interview to convince people you’re good, you’re gonna use “I believe”. It’s not toxic in of itself to persuade people, it’s the conditions surrounding it that make something insidious. This is why you’d never use this sort of analysis in a court.)
Simply put, I don’t think that phrase is a red flag in of itself.

I followed ZHC at the ground floor years ago as I started my own indie comic. Even then I could tell his art style was ripping off one of the greats: David Finch.
I put that aside for the pure need to hear something in the background as I drew and produced my own comic book. Then it hit me. His chanel blew up as him being a comic srtist and yet he never produced nor launched a kickstarter for his own book.
What ever clout the title of comic artist added to his origin was hollow since he never produced one book. He drew in a comic style but never did anything for the comics industry.
Knowing the industries rates I watched him throw around money to giveaways that real comic book pros have worked a lifetime to yet never even earn.
Once it became about iphones and clexing on how much money he had I dropped his chanel and never looked back.
I'm glad fo have found Jazza. This summer my kids and I will be doing lots of fun art projects in the garage inspired by Jazza's videos on discovering how. Like spiral paint buckets etc.

in his defense, this specifically is probably not a lie. at least, I don't know what the alternative/truth would be. Unless we're spinning a narrative that he's explicitly malicious and has some vendetta against these people's URLs, he probably did just not think it was that important to give links so felt like it was okay to go with the more compact @s.
There's selfishly using people for fame and then there's actively not wanting people to benefit. I may be giving him too much rope here, but he hasn't given me cartoon villain vibes. He's most likely just selfish.

He didn't leave off the links because of "links looking unpleasant", but if he was being honest he would have said that he honestly was being selfish and not really thinking or caring about the impact that this had on other people. It is very obvious after this video that he is someone who solely thinks about his own growth and doesn't care about bringing the people around him up too. And just as Jazza talked about, he put his OWN link into the descriptions when he came out with merch... So it just feels like a plain excuse on ZHC's part, instead of owning up to the fact that maybe he isn't as high and mighty as he thought he was.
For the record, I don't think he is a bad person, but I do think that he needs to own up to these mistakes and make changes to be a more honest and maybe less selfish person.

Zachs answers make me sad. All the other artists he let down articulated themselves so well and with such confidence. Zach wanted to do the interview but it felt like he underestimated the critical questions that were about to come his way and now it feels that with a lot of words he said absolutely nothing. I will edit this comment if my thoughts have changed after watching the whole interview but I do not think that will happen

He's on damage control, he took the interview because he wants to try and save his name. Then when he was asked "why aren't these artists credited in these videos" his response being "i didn't know they weren't credited", and that right there is the damning statement, the fact he doesn't know, or take this seriously, shows he does not care. He is using people, plane and simple, and what we are seeing is that he is learning how to use people in ways that look legitimate. For example his employees, cool, he has a formal pay process for their services, but seeing someone apologise for having asthma is unacceptable. Zack is putting himself deeper and deeper into a spiral of abuse, he abuses trust, he abuses desire, he abuses emotions, he needs to own up, shape up or fall hard.

I think the saddest thing is: nothing will change for ZHC - kids will continue to watch his channel. Not for art but for perks and competitions, and it seems to be a business model that works. Rather than fostering creativity it’s all about “give me stuff”.

I used to watch ZHC years ago when I was in art school but once he started shifting his content style to all of those large projects for publicity that’s when I stopped watching because his vibe was just different. After that I pretty much forgot about him and it’s really disappointing that this is what his career has come to. He has so much talent and sadly the fame and money has gone to his head.
Yeah, I used to watch his videos too back when he made videos of drawing with a friend of his who couldn't draw and stuff like that. Once the clickbaity stuff started I stopped watching, and as it kept going I unsubscribed. I didn't watch any of those videos, so I don't know what the vibe was, but the titles and the thumbnails just felt wrong. Now it seems like the guy turned out to be a scam artist. Very disappointing.

Honestly, I'm disgusted at Zacks treatment to his "employees". From working them for 2 days straight, bragging about it, to bullying a girl with ASTHMA for not being able to run fast. Whether it was a joke or not he borderline forced her to “redeem” herself for not eating the broccoli earlier by eating multiple pieces of it at the end of the video. She literally got thousands of hate messages because she did not want to consume something her body practically rejects (I begin to gag and vomit with broccoli too, everyone does with food they don’t like). She broke down and even apologized for it which should have never happened. I used to be a big fan of Zach’s channel before the manipulative give always but I’ve unfollowed his social medias and rarer watch his videos. For artists that both look up and strive to be like ZHC, or how he used to be, this is heartbreaking to see. For those of us who fight to even grow our audience and cherish even the small amount of recognition this is hard to fathom. We all have dreams and if I was asked by a top youtuber to come and collaborate with them on a piece of art, that would be life changing! But to see how the "unknown" artists are treated makes me want to just stay humble with my craft and grow on my own. I appreciate you Jazza, over the many years of watching your channel and you grow with it, one thing still hits home.. You care about artists as a whole and a top icon for the art community.

I totally agree. The crazy thing to me in this situation is I think this guy is fully aware of his actions and the way he's treated people and probably has been since the very beginning. I dont buy into this color scheme this is me my hype youtube art influencer aesthetic but oh my silly mistake for not crediting other hard working creatives bullsh*t. Its all way too cold and calculated to just be a casual mistake when its the same thing over and over again. Anyone who watches influencers with those types of selfish personalities knows they do their research and know how to rack up the superficial popularity that the creative art community doesnt represent. Had he been in their shoes he would have fought tooth and nail for his rightful credit if someone tried to do the same to him. I wanna give him some credit for seemingly trying to mend things by changing titles and adding some peoples' credits, but like @Jazza said the damage is done dude and he knew it was from the beginning when he decided not to give proper links and rake in the credit for himself. If he overall is able to see all this and genuinely change then I'll eat my words, but even right now it's too early to tell if there will be a genuine change in the way others are treated on those types of channels. I'm ranting too much but this type of social media growth is just toxic. I do hope things work out and change for the best. Thanks Jazza.

I've seen some collaborating and customizing expensive stuff and setting a type of competition in vids to create hype.. This approach would wrongly influence new and young art RUclipsrs into thinking that they need to be a certain type of personality (like zhc tries to do like mr beast) to gain in the RUclips community.

ZHC has always just rubbed me the wrong way. Never enjoyed his videos. When I saw my son watching the videos I would turn them off and put Jazza or something on. Something that my child that loves to draw could actually learn something about drawing. Now my son loves watching Jazza’s videos and I’ll find him in his room watching a video and drawing. So all in all thank you Jazza for inspiring my 9 year old!

I'm of a similar opinion to yourself. I monitor what my son is watching on RUclips because there are just too many dodgy things that go on if you don't. Until recently it was pretty much limited to walk-throughs for games but I showed him some Jazza and Nerdforge videos a few months ago and now he asks to watch more often. He's really keen to improve his drawing skills and Jazza is his favourite.
I honestly had no idea who ZHC is, but ZHC seems like a RiceGum knock-off of the art community. I subbed to Jazza because of his charisma and his content is just plain fun to watch. Thank you Jazza.

Jazza's little "come on zach" at 11:17 really got me. There are a lot of interviewers who refuse to do something like this and just let people give the most bullshit answers and continue on with the interview in fears of scaring the interviewee into shutting down and not answering. I'm glad Jazza is pushing this with as much true evidence, fairness, and perspective as possible 10/10 shit, you don't see this stuff very often in this age of youtube
To be fair, i think there is a valid case for letting them say their bit without pressure or whatnot so they can address things. Famously, Murrow did this with McCarthy, offering (unprompted) his See It Now time slot to air any response that McCarthy had to address the criticisms against him. This he did (McCarthy choosing to send them a video reel which they played in full). Afterwards, Murrow observed how McCarthy, despite having claimed Murrow was misrepresenting him, lying and whatnot, did not identify any claims Murrow had made that he even considered factually inaccurate (instead, McCarthy just took the time to try and claim Murrow was a communist and made some factually false statements of his own). It really was a great example of Murrow's integrity as a reporter in how he dealt with McCarthy.

Murrow made a hit piece towards McCarthy and then McCarthy replied with his own "hit piece" claiming Murrow was a communist without addressing Murrow's points and then Murrow responded to it, there was no interview in the process. It wasn't an interview, it was a response. Like if someone made a RUclips video about someone else and that other person made a RUclips video back, there was no actual conversation of it between them directly. the thing the person who made the first comment is talking about here is direct interviews of people and how interviewers will just let something obviously bs slide, what Murrow did wasn't an interview so it's not comparable to this contextual decision.
What would be comparable is how Jazza, like Murrow, let ZHC respond to his allegations before making further points and giving him fair ground to respond to them.

I rarely ever see someone interviewing negative influencers, be so, so gentle with what they're being accused of, turn around and say "I was too soft on him" and still turn around and treat them with probably far more gentleness and softness than they probably deserve.
It really does go to show the kind of kindness Jazza tries to cultivate in his own community. A truth to be told, but not a truth so important that it comes before an attempt at human decency.
If I were in Jazza's shoes, I honestly couldn't be as graceful. I recognize that some of this is needed, as a professional, but some outrage is expected after having some of the biggest names in ArtTube come forth and say "he's literally always been a snake". Especially when Jazza has worked with some of these people, some even calling him their friend.

"negative influencer" i dont think so, he has done many of good things, he gives free phones to people, decorate a hospital and has gave away homes to people,lets not automatically assume that he is a bad person just by the bad or questionable things he has done and lets focus on the good light, also lets not insult people just to prove a point,keep it respectful, its not gonna make u look any good if u insult people
@@the_girl_under_ur_bed he had done "good" things but at what cost? He gives away phones but it's for selfish reasons. He may donate money but it's because he knows his videos and sponsorships will make that cost back 10 fold. Unless you think someone who has done "good things" justify his wrongs (using people for fame, demanding workers risk their health, etc) then I guess that's where your morality lies.

Thanks for making this! So here's a confession from me: Despite being an artist myself and having done a few stabs at making art-related videos on RUclips, I've never ever come across ZHC. The artists I follow is for specific reasons; fx. Mary Doodles because she was in Epic Rap Battles Of History, you because I was searching for some original takes on fan art (and man, please make more of that - such as drawing heroes as villains and vice versa, I learn so much from it), Aleksei Vinogradov for his ProCreate brushes, Draw With Isabella for her pencil artworks, Robert Marzullo for his drawing tutorials, SamDoesArts for his funny perspectives and art style - and there's a bunch of others I can't list at the top of my head, and I'm too lazy to go through my subscriptions list to mention them all... but the point is, despite having been active with folllowing other artists and creating content myself for roughly a decade, I've never seen any of ZHC's videos - none that come to mind, anyway, and nothing that made me subscribe.

I think the saddest part about all of this, is the fact that the vast majority of ZHCs viewers will more than likely not care at all about this or just defend him...

Nah as a young artist honestly i idolize him cause of his art's but it change cause an artist know the right to give credit if they are not the one who made that art piece this even disappoint me.

That’s how it always is. People obsess over RUclipsrs and even after confirmed evidence they’re like “people change” and other shit. No, they don’t, not them at least. There’s plenty of RUclipsrs I’ve written of because of them turning into clout hogs, for example, Carter Sherer and his friends. At this point everything is scripted.
That is why I watch you and not someone like ZHC. You have integrity and are honest. I like seeing your fails just as much as your great works. I am glad you are here. Thanks for being you.

Thank you for this. I’m a new artist, and so have only “known” some of the RUclips artists for a short while. Having said that, I recognized most of the artists in this video, and was appalled that these people who give so freely of their talents were taken advantage of in such a manner. Artists, if it’s worth anything at all, you have taught me so much and have inspired me incredibly. Oh, and I must confess there was only one artist in the video who I wasn’t familiar with, and that was…. ZHC himself. Oops. :)

Jazza, these two parts, but especially this one, are so eye-opening. I mean...I truly believe that you get it. As an influencer, you realize that you have a platform to entertain and inform, both of which can help you persuade others. From your videos, I get that you do it for the entertainment or conveyance of information. And you are aware of the weight that your content carries. That last quote, the one I mentioned at the very top, is just the cherry on top of a very well-done, well-accomplished sundae. And one solid reason why I enjoy your videos (and your Tabletop Time collaborations). You. Get it.

The thing that's most infuriating is that these disingenuous collabs have been happening for months or years.
It's not a one day fit or lapse in judgement. He consciously took all decisions irrespective of his conscience and just benefitted from it.
It's sad how editing shady stuff out and being disingenuous can reward you so much.

Honestly as someone who considers herself a maker and fiber artist, I cant imagine working DAYS STRAIGHT on a project and not getting properly credited and not getting a percentage of the overall monetary profit of the video. Jazza, big props to you, this definitely took big guts to put out there and has risk to you. The art community is with you and thank you for valuing the integrity and ethics of artists.

I remember watching Zach's vids in 2018 but he stopped going into my recommended page for a few years. Looked him up because I remembered his comic book artstyle and was looking forward to seeing his artistic improvement. I was so saddened to know that his own drawings seem to be a thing of the past. I hope he continues to draw in his personal time
