Awesome video! Makes me miss living out in the West, big time! The tough and bad days just make the good days that much better, it's what makes a true fisherman!
Dude it was so much fun to film! Glad you enjoyed! Working on plans with the same crew involving a bush plane and everything we need to fish for a week in the middle of nowhere next summer!
Thanks man!! Stepping it up big time this year with the cinematography this year. Hopefully it shows with vids that start coming out towards the end of spring!
Beautiful fish! God bless you all! If you ever want to fish the Sierra, for some big browns let me know! We have plenty of room at the little house! Dan Brent
I understand the first few days of fishing were tough, but did you need content so badly that you had to just absolutely start raping the redd in that last segment? Pretty weak.
We were fishing the Lower Green beneath Flaming Gorge in the last segment. This section has around 15,000 fish per mile. Normally, we steer clear of spawning fish, but river managers here encourage fishing during the time of year because of overpopulation issues. We weren't targeting redds by any means, just fishing in a very densely populated brown trout fishery late fall. This is a spot I enjoy fishing in year round! Hopefully that gives some context, appreciate you checking out the film man!
@@chasewalker1931I’m with you entirely on this Chase. It’s funny to me that the intro talks about “those super secret underground fly fishing guides.” When it’s a bunch of dudes going out and taking drone shots. Now, they do a good job of not burning spots for the most part, but I doubt it’s something locals ever appreciate. Then to blatantly attack redds calling it a success without any backstory included in the video as to why what they are doing (may be) okay in that specific situation, is downright irresponsible. It’s like the cover of American Angler magazine a few years back when that twat was caught fishing a closed section of water for spawning browns to make a magazine cover. This would have been the perfect video to make a point on the importance of conservation of some of these fisheries as well. I couldn’t help but wonder in the first half of the video if their lack of success was due to conditions, water levels, temps, overfishing, industry. And what an opportunity it could have been to stress some of those issues to grow a conservation mindset to the viewers. Instead we have “unsuccessful fishermen resort to redd raping Utah, driving more anglers to the states mentioned, only to complain in 5 -10 years about dead fisheries”. I’d like to make a point that it was a great video, with talented editing, and wicked shots and storytelling… I’m just so frustrated with content creators having a lack of care and insight into what they are promoting. It’s a growing industry, and there’s enough scientific articles out there to know what makes an impact. Let’s grow a respectable generation of anglers. Cheers
Gud vid. Hobo Steve approved.
Legend has it Hobo Steve is still in Idaho looking for his net he left on the side of the river. 😂
Awesome video! Makes me miss living out in the West, big time! The tough and bad days just make the good days that much better, it's what makes a true fisherman!
Couldn't agree more man! Grinding it out in new places is the way to find new, great water!

Great film too!!
Thanks man! The Short Bus series is unmatched. That crew crushed it! Much more to come here, glad you enjoyed!
I wonder why all those browns at the end were stacked up in that shallow riffle?
Low flows I guess 🙈🙉🙊
@@CamdenSpeesor maybe they were spawning
20,000 fish per mile. They’re kinda always stacked up…
You can see the brown milting @ 30:30 Bush league influencer sh*t right there.

Any tips on replacing a flat tire? Haha awesome video man.
Hahahaha my strategy is normally blocking the entire dirt road until someone trying to spend their day hinging shows up that knows how. Thanks man!
great job on the video man. I think you might take Scotty's place for fishing and filming with the Blue Line crew
Haha glad you enjoyed man! Their work is legendary, love watching those films!
@mountainwell Dude, your filming editing and story telling are so tight. really enjoyed the video
so many good craft brewers out west and I see modelo in the truck
Hahahah I'm pretty sure Adam is more Modelo than he is water 😂
Great video.
Thanks for watching man! Glad you enjoyed!
I always catch cuttys on nightcrawlers. try that next time. Seems those fish can't resist those worms!
I think there’s an issue with the vid I watched. It’s is jumping all over the place and very choppy. Was there an issue on the upload?
Hmm seems like it's stil working on my end, but I'll go take a look at the upload file. Are you still having the issue?

Time to pick up Euro Nymphing… hahah if you can’t catch fishing out of the Logan River what are you even doing lol
Hey man I'm a big fan of the "wizard stick"! Been using the Thomas & Thomas Contact Euro rod for a long time now
@ love to hear it! This was a great outing, and I enjoyed watching
Awesome fish, very confusing video
