- Victorious, similar to iCarly, was a very important show that took a look differently into the rapidly growing digital age of social media and rather than poke fun and laugh AT you, they decided to laugh WITH you. While never recieving the proper ending it deserved, it took you on a journey through the ever so strange "Hollywood" lifestyle and the characters you could meet along the way. But could this show, again similar to iCarly, ever have a revival or comeback show to countinue these character's stories? Let's discuss!

Well where I’m from, victorious was actually bigger than iCarly, so yes, 100%. I’d love it if it came back and I know a couple hundred others who would as well

This show was well ahead of its time, and I liked that it wasn't just a carbon copy of other sitcoms on the same network. It's such a shame that it never received a proper finale, but fingers crossed that it will come to fruition one day!
What? This show is entirely ripped off Disney Chanel's Cheetah Girls/High School Musical/ Camp Rock/ Hannah Montana era. The creator himself even said that.

I think victorious would work better in an adult environment much more than the new iCarly since Victorious is basically an adult show on a kids network

It wasn’t a show I watched a whole heck of a lot, but what I did see of it I thought was good. Honestly my biggest takeaways from my were how tight-knit the friend group was, and how awesome Hollywood Arts seemed. I just looked like they were all having a great time.
andre and tori would’ve been adorable together, and yes i still ship it till this day
If the show was made today, they totally would have gotten together. The fear of interracial relationships was still a prominent problem back when this show was first out. But if it came out today, Andre and Tori would have totally been endgame. They had the best chemistry with each other

Finally someone said it!! They were the only reasonable ship besides Robbie and Cat in my opinion. Yes, the Beck and Jade relationship was ok, but at times seemed like they never really loved one another, you know? 🤨
@@imaanwheeler1995 well, they were in high school, so I mean... love. LOL. But yeah, Robbie and Cat were a cute ship, too. Apparently (according to Matt Bennett) their kiss was with a stunt double for Robbie's character. So that's interesting.

Kinda. I went to one too and there’s definitely a few big personalities and quirky kids, but there was also traditional academic pressure in mine AND art budget cuts if you can believe it 🙄. I was a visual arts major and we literally would have to buy our own supplies which did limit us in some ways you don’t see on shows like Victorious.

I doubt Ariana would comeback to this. The show getting cancelled inevitably helped her musical career long term because she was able to get her debut album out sooner rather than later and now she's the biggest Nick alumni star ever.

This isn't really related but I don't like that they chose sam and cat for a spinoff I would have liked it so much better if it was jade and cat we would have gotten a deep dive into there friendship we would have got more songs and just a better show in general in my opinion.
That would be cool but the whole reason Victorious stopped is because music shows were more expensive
Sam and Cat wasn't cool because they exaggerated some traits on the characters (actually it happened to Cat in the entirety of Victorious). And its humor is like: Cat is dumb, Sam is crazy, Goomer is dumb... etc.
@@gustavorocha8643 I agree they completely flanderized every character and only gave them one personality and at least in victorious they let cat feel common emotions like anger and jealousy ect in sam and cat she just happy sam could do the most meanest stuff and she just mad for a second then it never gets talked again in that episode I feel like with jade and cat it would have just been alot better.

Yeah, that scene in Brain Squeezers of Trina saying to Tori “Everything's not all about YOU!” is a joke on the fact of Tori being the protagonist and everything inevitably being ABOUT her. Or at least most of it. I love that joke ngl.

Is anyone else curious about the “Nickelodeon/Disney-averses?” Like, the same actors get used by these networks again and again and I always was curious and fascinated as to why
Companies think it's better to use an actor who has been used on popular shows then an actor who is just beginning

Victorious is a solid teen sitcom having characters having their own personalities and quirks that kids motivate to. I wonder how Victoria and the rest of the girls feel about the situations involving Dan Schneider?
Up until recently, Ariana was very friendly with Dan Schneider. I don't know about the rest of the cast.

If this show ever gets a revival they need to make it that during the time skip Rex has become a mumble rapper with face tats, waves and a durag and Rex makes Robby brush his waves 100 times a day.

Fun fact in the robarazzi episode when Rex talks about inside out burger there’s a computer showing the icarly website and also in the main hall of Hollywood arts there’s a locker with a icarly logo sticker and the actors of spencer Freddie and Sam all made a one time appearance on victorious and Tori is shown in the icarly apartment
You hit the nail right on the head 🙌🏾 I really hope we get a Victorious revival of some sort. whether it’s one more season or a movie to properly send off the characters, I think the fans of the series have waited long enough and deserve some sort of closure
I personally would love to see a revival series happen! I've been binge watching the showing as of late. And I can honestly say that it still holds up. If any of the older Nick shows were to get a more modern revival I would say Victorious or possibly Zoey101 would be the ones to bring back.

You totally hit the nail on the head on why I get so passionate when anyone hates on Tori and their defense is "Haha Tori is boring... Jade & Cat are both queens AND SING SO MUCH BETTER THAN TORI" Like you said, Tori was a normal teenage girl thrust into the weird world of Hollywood Arts. Of course she's more boring than her peers, that's the entire point of the show!! Also, you want a more boring, bland character as the main character because a greater variety of people can see themselves in a character like Tori because she's not such a distinct personality like Jade or Cat.
Also I only added the part about Jade and Cat being better singers because I ALWAYS see that as a reason why "Tori is the worst" and it's like, first off that's really rude because you're insulting Victoria Justice more than you're insulting Tori because she doesn't have a voice like Ariana or Liz Gillies. Second, she is a really good singer, you're just again comparing her (probably more to Ariana than to Liz), *BUT STILL* most people will never have as beautiful of a voice as Ariana does and Victoria Justice is still a great singer, she's just not the same type of singer as the others on the show.Third, HOW IS SOMEONE NOT BEING THE BEST SINGER ON A SHOW A REASON WHY THEY'RE THE WORST?? THIS ISN'T AMERICAN IDOL IT'S A NICKELODEON SHOW 😑 How good of a singer someone is on a tween sitcom is literally the least important thing to complain about when speaking of someone's character 😂😂

man Victorious is such a great & iconic show. so I is Sam & Cat too, another great show that you mentioned in video! I'll forever be annoyed that Victorious didn't get a proper ending. the characters were awesome, the songs were & still are pretty catchy, & overall the cast just seemed like they were having so much fun onset. Jade will always be my favorite character on this show too ❤
I didn't watched Victorious as a child, idk why, I think it didn't caught my attention since I was a bit too young (6-9 yo) at the time. Last year I rewatched iCarly (which I liked a lot when I was younger) and after it I decided to give Victorious a chance. I really enjoyed the show, it gives me nostalgia to remember how internet and music mainstream was like back then. The characters are kinda weird but you still like them for some reason. It has some flaws but it is a great show.
If victorious has a reboot, cat and robbie, tori and andre and beck and jade should all be endgame. Period.

Her full name is Victoria but shortened to Tori as a nickname that everyone calls her , and i guess they just always call her Victoria in Brazilian Portuguese
i would take a reunion episode over a whole revival series like icarly tbh. assuming their characters have all graduated from hollywood arts and have built careers off their time there, it's hard for me to imagine ALL of the characters regularly interacting with each other for more than one episode. it could guarantee a more finite conclusion (rather than run the risk of the revival not doing well and losing out on a satisfying finale yet again).
This show did not give Andre enough of a spotlight
Man I loved that show. I still remember it's theme song! I use to watch is a lot as a kid, and would love to it come back at some point like ICarly!

Fun fact: I started watching this show because there would be times when I would forget to turn off my TV at night and I would wake up to the show. I eventually noticed how great the show is, so I started watching more. I think Nickelodeon advertising is what originally turned me away from it, like a lot of shows on there.

Even though I didn't watch the show back when it was on, as I've always been more into the animated shows then the live action shows, I still vividly remember seeing that puppet in advertisements. You're description of it though definitely has me interested though.

i’m surprised this is unpopular, i always felt this way growing up. the dynamics were more fun and unique than icarly and when i watched victorious i wanted to hang out with all them. i still kinda do lol
They are in the same place for me, I have a bit more love for iCarly cause I used to watch it a lot, but Victorious is great.
I agree. I have so many fond memories watching Victorious. Although iCarly was a great show, as a kid I laughed out louder watching Victorious.
I think ICarly is honestly a better show, but I like Victorious better. Victorious was such a comfort for me in my childhood and teenage years. Watching the show made me feel so carefree.Shows rarely make me feel that way but Victorious did.

victorious was a great show and that fictional high school seem like the best thing for future artist to learn from.
sam and cat kind of continue the story of victorious in a way since cat still goes to hollywood arts and never have a ending too.

I remember watching the first episode when it premiered because I recognized Victoria Justice even though I never watched Zoey 101. After the first episode I’d wait for every new one and I remember the episode where Cat accidentally uses super glue on Tori’s face was the one that officially hooked me in to it being my favorite. I know that towards the end it started to dissolve basically but I still love it till this day
Oh it does have an impact on me, now I'm obsessed with singing and every day I could randomly belt out high notes just to improve my higher register

the best way to tie up loose ends on Victorious is to have a movie where they elude to the fact that everyone graduated and they show where everyones at in their life now, and then they have a reunion to catch up and reminisce! a full series definitely won't work.

TL;DR: Victorious is a very important show to me~
this show is hands down my number one favorite live action show of all time. I was an older teen/young adult during it's run. I'll never forget the day I first saw it, tho I don't recall which episode it was ^^; it came on after some reruns of iCarly, which I had been a fan of right from the start. seeing that it was another show by Dan, who's work I loved, up until certain things came to light. (side note: it really is such a shame that so many wonderful shows are now tainted, ignorance truly is bliss, but it's even worse thinking about what those poor kids went through...) anyway, I knew it was worth checking out and I was instantly hooked. the first episode I saw as it aired for the first time was actually the two episode length special Locked Up. by then, I'd already made friends online within the fandom and fondly remember sitting at my laptop, live tweeting with my new friends as we all watched the premier together. it became a routine part of my life. at that time, I had no real irl social life (no point in getting into details but trust me when I say that it was significant that I had a group of friends and wasn't horribly depressed for the first time in several years) I became inspired to write more, even posted a couple fanfics, which was the first time I let strangers read my writings. the friendships I made were the best part tho. I unfortunately lost touch with them all over time but I still think about each of them rather often. it really was a better time in my life. being out of my shell also lead to other unexpected things, like thinking I could pursue acting and my father (an actor himself) even took me to a couple classes and got both of us in as extras for an independent film being made in our city. it's the only time I've ever been on a proper filming set and I never would have experienced that, or so many other things, without Victorious. it may sound crazy to some but this show quite literally changed my life. oh, wholesome side note: my family and I never shared many interests but both my parents and my brother enjoyed the show. mom and dad (divorced since I was 2) would watch it with me or on their own, once I got them into it and my brother would watch it with me (he's 12 years older than me so, above the general target audience but he liked it for the most part). I just have so many wonderful memories thanks to Victorious. I'd love to see it come back but only if the cast is cool with it, especially Liz. yeah I know, Jade isn't the main character but she's my favorite and it wouldn't be the same without her >.< I don't think it would be the same without any of the main cast tbh but I think my rambling on this year and a half old video has gone on long enough ^^;

I think victorious wasn’t given much effort towards the end because all that effort was being put on iCarly... which is weird because I’d argue victorious deserved better than a show like iCarly. iCarly was arguably a childish show starring a bunch of teenagers who occasionally tackled realistic topics. Mostly iCarly was feet feet feet... and naked body parts victorious was that too but at least feet wasn’t a character in victorious
You must've paid attention to the feet too much since they barely did feet stuff after the first season...

I thought it was just me I could tell that victorious was getting weaker and later seasons it had a great first and good second but then 3 and 4 was meh they weren't bad but they just didn't give me that spark that originally did it had a few good episodes like tori's Christmas but I could just tell the show was slipping in later seasons it still sticked the landing tho

I'd always imaged even if they rebooted/made a sequel of this series, they wouldn't be able to afford Cat/Ariana anymore due to just how fucking big she is now, but they can always just chug off her character being off somewhere doing very expensive things cause IRLshe probably is doing those things

I would gladly see this show get a proper ending at least. i am a bit disappointed that it got cancelled.
I don't believe you could do a revival of Victorious, but there could be a reunion movie, since it's been around eight years since it went off the air. There could be a movie where Beck and Jade are about to get married with Cat as Jade's maid of honor. Of course we later find out that Tori and Jade had some type of falling out since the show went off the air, and part of the movie goes back to resolving those issues. Meanwhile, Trina is trying to launch her one woman show ("Chicago") on Broadway but is failing miserably.
I was never that big a fan of this show when it was airing, I kind of thought everyone acted like a bunch of jerks to each other when I was younger. I think the poor treatment over characters like Tori and Cat was always too harsh and it ended up reminding me too much of traumtic events in my own life and it was just too much negativity for me at the time.
Now I don't I could say I hated the show, but I certainly see what it was going for. I'll probably give it another shot if I ever decide to get a Paramount+ subscribtion for a month or so.
The breakfast club one was good but my favorite was the TMZ episode had me so dead.
