Thank you for the Zanzibar videos and helpful tips! Traveling there in about a month. While my husband and daughter hike Kilimanjaro my friend and I will be in Zanzibar (just us two ladies), so I really appreciate the tips and "intel"! These videos are really helping me plan and pack!
Another great video on Zanzibar. Wow, what narrow streets they have. You have to be careful when you come out your front door. You could get run over! Thanks for sharing.
thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! i literally walked down to the dock and just started talking to the boat captains out there! and then let the negotiation begin 😉
Hey Christine, one more awesome video! Will go to Zanzibar in about 1.5 months and stay there for 1 month. Where would you suggest that I should stay, Stone Town, Paje or elsewhere? Thanks!
Pretty Please - how did you get a drone permit to use in Zanzibar? Maybe you can make a video about it, it's nearly impossible to get one and I don't want to risk at border without one.
hi cl we are coming to zanzibar on 6 march staying 2 nights stone town 5 nights jozani forrest in homestay and the 7 nights pajay my hubbie likes to fish any recomdations with that and what would be the best form of transfers between areas thanks shirley
I am excited to visit zanzibar but am being quoted over $15K for 9 days. I am working with AAA travel. do you suggest a different way to approach this trip?
Hi dear thank you so much for your videos. Am, you seems to know a lot about it, is it possible to travel to zanzibar and meet a conscious community? yoga people etc? is the island receiving foreigners or covid has stopped all travels?
Great questions! Zanzibar was very busy with LOTS of tourists when I was there earlier this year. I saw a lot of yoga communities in Paje. I'm hoping someone else can add some commentary to your questions!
Hi Christine, love the energy in your videos, super engaging & informative! Could you please let us know Where the sandbank party is, so we know what to ask for when finding the boat vendors? Was it a full day excursion?
ooooh you can make it as long of or as short of a day you want! all the info should be in the description of this video.... but its one of the MAIN tours out of stone town!!!x
Hi :) We’re really struggling to decide on where on the island to stay. We are going for 2 weeks and will spend a couple of days in Stone Town. Is it worth spending the rest of the time I Nungwi? And is there a big difference on the east and west Nungwi?
hello! Great videos, thank you ... did you travel alone, I am thinking of going on my own but was wondering if Stone Town for instance will be safe enough for a woman alone (obviously will not open myself up for scary situations) but like walking around in the town during the day etc etc ...
in my opinion.. no! i wouldn’t go here solo and i’ve traveled 8 countries solo. abdul is an amazing driver… his info is in the description of this video
i disagree with her reply to you. i was there as a solo woman and it was VERY safe. i've traveled to 30 countries solo, this was on top as one of the safest. not sure what her reasons are (never mentioned them?) but it's totally safe.
Hi Im going to Zanzibar, can you recommend the service of your driver? can you share his contact? About Stone Town how many days is enough to see the city? many thanks
This is a great question. It's so hard to answer a question like this because I don't know where else you've traveled (and what "safe" means to you). I’m hoping someone else in the comments might know the answer to this and can help out! .. I personally wouldn't travel here alone.
See ALL my Zanzibar videos! bit.ly/AfricaRUclips

Pretty Please - how did you get a drone permit to use in Zanzibar?
Maybe you can make a video about it,
it's nearly impossible to get one and I don't want to risk at border without one.
it should be in a drone video or drone blog post on my drone channel or blog. 🤘🏽

I am excited to visit zanzibar but am being quoted over $15K for 9 days. I am working with AAA travel. do you suggest a different way to approach this trip?
Does anyone else have a suggestion for this? There are ways to zanzibar insanely cheap and insanely expensively!

Hey Christine im finding your videos so helpful! can I ask how long you stayed in Stone Town please
in and out over 4 days. one or two is enough in my opinion tho!

i think there is a huge difference! different vibe and diff views. i'm curious if anyone else in the comments has an opinion!

i wasn’t alone! this isn’t a place i’d travel solo but that’s just me. i’m curious if someone else in the comments has an experience to share!
yes its very safe as a solo woman. i traveled there alone as have countless other women. i had no problems there at all. @@ChristineLozada
Hi there! I’m planning to go solo as a woman. Is it safe to go? Also where did you find the private driver?
in my opinion.. no! i wouldn’t go here solo and i’ve traveled 8 countries solo. abdul is an amazing driver… his info is in the description of this video

@@ChristineLozada that's all I wanted to know. Thank you 🕉️
And why not? I found zanzibar as a whole to be very safe @@ChristineLozada
it looks similar to Ethiopian city Harar
I've never heard of that spot!
