@@sigmacall4148 Yeah, maybe because The Witcher franchise has a very big focus in the narrative and story telling, while Monster Hunter just focuses in the combat system and progression. One is mostly narrative, the other one is more "mechanical". I love both games for different reasons.
I like how nice Geralt is to everyone. He would be thrilled to visit a world where fascination with monsters is common and an active field of study, and where his skills and character are not shunned but openly admired.
I'd imagine, that due to how well he is treated in Monster Hunter, Geralt would probably consider staying in this world, if it wasn't for Roach, Yen and Ciri

As for me, Geralt would come to visit me time to time, and for once, the man did not have the constant stare of hatred, rather a grin on his face.
My sister and I joked recently that English should be renamed "common" as a reference to D&D. Actually makes sense too, because English is used in most first world countries and contains elements of those cultures languages.

The scene from 6:26 on is the main reason I capture more often then slay monsters. They may not speak our language and live the way we do, but they are intelligent creatures who understand the world in ways we can't. They also have the ability to show gratitude, empathy, even remorse. I will always move to capture instead of slay where the opportunity presents itself.

it is real, theres even a quest to fight a ancient leshen and the warning it gives you before entering is something to the tune of "this is simular to death march difficulty in the witcher, be prepared" . it was one of the most fun and difficult fights in the game for us.
Considering Geralt is kinda the Eternal Champion just like Elric or Corum of Moorcock but from a different writer it's really cool to see him in Monster Hunter! I mean why not? It can happen! 🙂
Honestly i feel like a pukei pukei would be useful in the witcher series,a small,camoflauged predstor that spites copious amounts of poison that can possibly kill a leshen,they would be quickly domesticated as a form of hunting animal
