- This is a podcast interview that is six years in the making. Truly, since I started my podcast, this has been a dream guest of mine to interview. What I think is so incredible and full circle about this experience for me is that when I started my podcast, this felt like a pipe dream. It felt like there was no way that this could ever happen. And it happened!!! I got to interview Tony Robbins. Tony, if you're not familiar, is really the godfather of modern day personal development.
The idea of going to a conference and immersing yourself or reading certain books or working on mindset- this industry is built around him in a lot of ways and whether you know him or don't, whether you like him or don't, he has played a huge role in my life.
In Tony's new book Life Force, he explores the latest medical breakthroughs that could change your life. Rachel I met you a few years ago in the UK at a signing and I had this moment with you. I told you that Girl Wash Your Face got me to pull my curtains after being in such a dark place. Watching this makes me realise, you couldn't have changed my life if Tony hadn't changed yours. I believe I'm going to pass that along and change someone else's life.

As a women who sees so much of herself in you Rachel you did an absolutely amazing job with this interview! You were authentic and the questions that you asked resonated so much with me. If I was having a one on one conversation with Tony this is exactly the way I would like it to be. It felt so natural and honest. I think this is the best interview I’ve ever seen with Tony. OK yall, real talk.....I DO like Tony, but frankly I like listening to YOU much more than I do him :). I find you to be so much more real and humble and inspirational. To me, Tony Robbins has become SOOO freaking successful in his work, I feel like I can no longer relate to the things he says. Keep doing what you do, Rachel and never change. It’s a beautiful interview. I’m saying that not so much because of the content - I know most of the content already - but because of the way he shows up here: she is clearly a young and attractive woman (dolled up or not), she is clearly a fan of his, she is physically right in front of him (not safely behind a barrier, or a continent away on the other side of a camera), she is not a super-famous billionaire already (at least not that I’m aware of), and yet he is warm, personable, kind, responsive, open, and affectionate, without ever being inappropriate. This is the man I saw in an event for the first time in 2016 and later in early 2017. There is none of the paranoia against attractive women that started sometime in mid-2018, he doesn’t shut himself off or reject her or talk about Sage every 2 minutes, or have her walk into the picture, but it’s just a lovely warm, friendly interview. I understand where the paranoia came from, at least some if it, I saw a lot of men have that even before mid-2018, and yet it made me sad to see it. I saw comments, including on this podcast, that he is allegedly mean to women - that’s BS, he wasn’t mean to women when I saw him in 2016 at all, things only started getting weird after some women started attacking him from all sides for stuff that was only in their heads (I was at the events and saw the scenes in context that were later used). Guess he didn’t realize that this was a “wall” not to be looked at, too, until recently. But now he has, and he is back to who he was. And yes, I have heard male speakers complain about being ignored as well, that has nothing to do with women, but that’s another story that may have more to do with the culture in Hollywood, meaning certain behaviors are an expression of his cultural conditioning and the expectations he needs to meet, not his character. There’s a difference. It may not be that easy for him either. Be it as it may, now, in the public space, he’s back, and I am glad to see him like this. I like seeing him relaxed and enjoying himself, it makes it much easier to watch, too. Welcome back, have a good spring! We love you, thank you!

I was personally introduced to tony from my dad hearing him speak on his books when I was growing up... this interview was amazing. You are my tony RACH! It's equivalent to Celine Dion and Adele singing together.! Soooo good! Cant wait to grab his book! I also CANT wait to read whatever book or books that come from your winter season! The Struggle builds the muscle!
