Indian summer is for plein air painting - how I re-started after a long break

After a hiatus from plein air painting, I'm eager to spend this Indian summer outdoors in the Swiss Alps, capturing the beauty of mountain landscapes on canvas. My goal is to spend as many days as possible immersed in nature and my art.
I'm excited to share my experience of setting up my plein air painting gear and doing a test run in our back yard.
I wanted to take a playful approach and enjoy the process of immersing myself in nature while also creating art. For me, plein air painting combines two of my favorite things - being outside and painting.
In this video, I'll be documenting my process of preparing for plein air painting, from setting up my gear to set it up and test it on location.
I'll also share some of the challenges I face while painting outside and how I overcome them.
I hope this video will inspire you to try plein air painting and encourage you to embrace your creativity in nature.
