When he repeatedly ragdolled Pronger in the 2010 Cup finals. Pronger had been bullying all previous opponents until he ran into Big Buff. This physical duel between those two giants pretty much set the tone for the finals, no more bullying by Prongs.

I thought my fav. Big Buff moment(s) were when he just grabbed a couple of players by the scruff and spun them around. Then, I openly started laughing at the 3:17 of this video, where he just demolished a couple of guys. So, thanks for the video!

I saw Buff play a number of times in Winnipeg. What struck me was when he was on the ice the opposing team were very careful about not taking cheap shots on the Winnipeg elite players. They knew there would be a hefty price paid if Buff was pissed off. He was a force on the ice and much loved in Winnipeg. His Jersey still sells well in Winnipeg. Much loved and respected to this day. He’s on my Allstar Team of the great ones. Cheers Buff, happy fishing.

As a Flyers fan I've nothing but respect for Byfuglien's game. He was as much a menace as anyone in that cup final. He isn't a regular d-man playing forward either. He was as good or better than a lot of guys that claim to be power forwards. I do think Ramsey was right putting back on the back-end as well. It was fun watching him, hoping he enjoys retirement. Solid player, good team guy, pretty different guy nit the weirdest but definitely a unique guy.

Big Buff was the best! Had a great net front presence that annoyed goalies and it turned up a notch against Vancouver, an early playoff opponent in the Blackhawks Stanley Cup run. That was another Stan Bowman blunder. Letting go of Buff was the heart and soul of that 2010 Cup winner.

Hilarious/weird Buff story was him starting a conversation with in the pisser (of all places) during the playoffs when he was Hawk at a bar a lot of NHLers go to in Vancouver. He went off about how shitty bars are in Vancouver, and he’s probably not wrong. For some reason, I was scared. 😅

That would be a dream come true. "D"man who hits and when he hits, he hits hard. Big Buff can scare a entire team to not come close to the net because of the consequences. Big Buff wasn't a goon who just throws his weight. Big buff was talented offensive and defensive. Who trades away a player like Dustin Byfuglien. Traded twice in his career.
