The reason for the ice cream bar is because after his pipe bomb promo CM punk and vince did a promo where CM punk was going to sign a contract but wanted certain demands and one was to bring back the old WWE ice cream bars that were discontinued in 2008 and put his face on it

Candice Michelle on the Cyber Sunday poster is lowkey genius. She was the GoDaddy girl in their Super Bowl commercials, so her on an Internet-themed PPV makes perfect sense.

The Judgement Day 2008 poster is clever because it has Triple H's inmate number as "00888" and H is the 8th letter
I saw that but had a different take on it. I thought they were going for “Triple 8’s” which sounds similar to “Triple H”

I'm pretty sure the Unforgiven 2001 Poster was supposed to signify the storyline Steve Austin was in during the time, he was slowly losing his mind and becoming more erratic. So the idea was at Unforgiven he's lost it, and the poster is likely supposed to be his psyche breaking.

I want to clarify that the Cyber Sunday 2007 poster shows Candice Michelle, former WWE Women's Champion, Woman of the Year in 2007 according to Pro Wrestling Illustrated, the first WWE wrestler to appear in several Super Bowl ads, in addition to being invited to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and most importantly, after suffering an injury during a match against Beth Phoenix and making the referee stop the match, the rules were changed in favor of the wrestlers in WWE, achieving that if a wrestler was injured live, the match was finished as soon as possible, since before they were not allowed and it was from the case of her that the company's policy changed, this was confirmed by former WWE referee, Mike Chioda. She was one of the most prominent WWE wrestlers in her time both outside and inside the company. So WWE didn't put it by chance on that poster, it was a recognition for all its achievements and effort at the wrestling level in the ring, it was definitely more than a pretty face. I think that the time of the Divas in WWE is unfortunately underestimated, when they really paved the way for today's women to have the same importance as men👍🏻

Need a part 2 of this because there are so many more/better posters for her to grade. No way out 2008, No mercy 2007, Backlash 2007, Survivor Series 2009, TLC 2012, Survivor series 2014
The TLC poster of punk with the ice cream bar was around the time when punk was fighting hard to get the ice cream bars to come back. Around the TLC PPV, WWE finally brought them back. and since punk was the main one making noise about it, they did this as a inside joke for him and the fans.
and they still didn't put Punk on the actual ice crean
Fun Fact the Judgement Day 2009 poster the text of the logo that she said looks like Terminator text. The sponsor for that event was the movie Terminator: Salvation.

Regarding the Armageddon 2002 poster, Torrie Wilson was involved in a story with Dawn Marie at the time. There was a 'revealing' promo between the two at the PPV, which is why she was on the poster, but you are correct, she was not in an actual match at that event
edge on that judgement day poster back in 2009 had to be some inspiration for the judgement day faction he started later on
Lol the difference between last years money in the bank graphics and this years is night and day. I would love to see Sophie react to this years I think she’d love it!

I’ve never really watched wrestling, but I’ve been super into this channel since randomly stumbling upon it. Good work, John and Dante. It’s fun when we get a Sophie video and getting her reactions since I can relate to her not knowing what is going on 90% of the time.
Every time I forget how much I miss the old green and blue Summerslam theme, something happens where I'm reminded of just how cool it was
The ice cream bar was a reference to CM Punk’s contract demands during the time… he wanted them to bring them back with his face.
I really like Edge's Judgment Day poster because having the ulitmate opportunist tipping the scales makes perfect sense to me.

This definitely needs a part 2, as theres a ton of reeeeeally good ones. Example, Summerslam 1998, Stone Cold and Undertaker as giants in New York City beating one another with the Statue of liberty's torch and the Chrystler building.

The classic "Get To The Choppppa" is from the first Predator film. This was another amazing video.
Santino almost won the royal rumble the year before, so it’s showing him celebrating because that’s what he did before Del Rio threw him out to actually win.
The reason that Torrie might have been on the poster but not on the card was back then the promo posters were made WAY in advance sometimes 6 months and so often you would get injured or suspended wrestlers on the poster
Stone Cold is the Texas Rattlesnake, the blur is from the rattle and Stone Cold has the three heads like a sanke moving his head and his eyes were also done to mimic a snake.
Should do a video next with her making her own PPV/PLE Poster just have her spin a wheel and it gives her a random PPV/ PLE and at least 3 different wrestlers would be dope.

A lot of context is missing from the posters. The posters highlight the strongest storylines and main events and without that context, a big chunk of the meaning of the poster is missing

The Seth Rollins one makes sense cause the money in the bank briefcase hanging up multiple ppl climbing the ladder and they were in London it all fits the theme

Funny thing about that Summerslam poster. They actually filmed a commercial where they were in a backyard so the poster looking so weird is weird.
Do your research before rating. Ice cream bar was a key in Punk's pipe-bomb promo! Torrie's Armageddon poster had a lot to do with her ongoing storyline back in the days. She was framed to be a sexual predator by Dawn Marie and a bunch of people as per the script. Candice Michelle was a huge money grabber for WWE during the Cyber Sunday 2007 poster. Judgment Day 2009 was sponsored by Terminator: Salvation The Video Game.

I think that the Edge Judgement Day Poster is perfect. You get that he's a bad guy cause of the way he looks at you, the scale fits into the Judgement Day theme and since he's the bad guy he "tips the scale' to his advantage by pushing one side (his side) down.
The Unforgiven one was close to being something. If they had lined up the eyes of the three faces, it would've looked better. Not good, but passable.

I always find it obnoxious & short-sighted when wrestling companies bury any element of wrestling under some campy design themes. Maybe the WWE can get away with it, but when Indy companies do it, it makes it hard to even know what they're advertising.
