Hello viper, big fan of your work, couple of questions: On this clip, I believe you have SOCD set to Last Input Priority, but in the video that Gimr commented you said you have SOCD set to neutral in order to do CDC N DB properly. How can you do CDC here without the neutral input? And what's the actual sequence anyway? I'm really struggling doing it as fast as you do. Do you still use Mode and Tilt 3?
Thanks! I mess around with alot of SOCD settings, but usually for X-axis it is either SOCD neutral or last input priority. Though with either you can still get neutral with a combination of Mode + tilt. My next video will go over my Kazuya smash box layout and all of this in more depth. Hopefully that will help with all of this more
Yeah that good that you can EWGF consistently and know your BnBs already. You will probably want yo get comfortable with Crouch Dashing and be able to cancel in a few directions. Maybe just forward and possibly back to start. Then also learn a few of your more important buttons you will be wanting to use in neutral (back-tilt, up-tilt, fair etc.). This video from RoninX will cover a lot of that so I'd recommend watching this too ruclips.net/video/aDugp8gLiu0/видео.html&ab_
Not so much atm, just recently changed from c-stick CD/EWGF to the standard method so I am just focused on relearning and learning new stuff atm. I'm just try to add a few things piece by piece. But I will probably start a routine soon enough. For now I'd just say work a few or even 1 thing and get good at that first. Like just do CDC-F and maybe CDC-B to start. Get good at those first then keep adding more stuff imo.
I've found this interesting movement option that I think you should do a vid on. Not sure what to call it yet I came up with the "Mishima Dash" so far but you can call it whatever. It's done by... Running back (Back facing opponent) then pressing Down then C-Stick Down/Back (as if your doing a Stature Smash) if done correctly you will slide away from your opponent and turn around in idle animation and if done incorrectly you will either do a WGF facing backwards or CD backwards which is not bad cuz you can cancel that into another CD or whatever options come out of CD
Hmm that's sounds like a Dash Walk back if done correctly and if done incorrectly looks like something I did here at 0:06. If you get a WGF it sounds like you already entered CD and used the c-stick WGF. But nice! I'll give it a try, could also be something other than a Dash Walk back or a different version of it :)
I am not using the c-stick Crouch Dash and I am essentially doing a bunch fast CDC-B (Crouch Dash cancel Back) done with different timings. The longer you are in Crouch Dash/later you cancel the more you'll go forwards and the longer you hold back (either walk, dash or run back) the longer you will move backwards.
Yeah what @chezboi said, it is just a bunch fast CDC-B (Crouch Dash cancel Back) done with different timings. So the longer you are in Crouch Dash/later you cancel the more you'll go forwards and the longer you hold back (either walk, dash or run back) the longer you will move backwards.
Heihachi! Look! Baby Kazuya is taking his first steps!
You love to see it.
Dat movement is terrifying
Nice content dude ! I like these little informational snippets for Kazuya.
TYVM! That's what I try to upload fun and/or informative :)

Have u got like a practice routine bro i struggle with working on my movement?

I'd literally would SD if I saw that. But then again I'd play kaz so I don't know 🤔
Try playing Kazuya with one joycon
Uh I'm good lol
I really need a smash box D: any tips on how to get one?
How to get one? Just order one from the official htibox website :)
Are you c sticking? What dash method are you using
I am not using the c-stick Crouch Dash and I am essentially doing a bunch fast CDC-B (Crouch Dash cancel Back) done with different timings. How can you move like that?
Rapid crouch dashing inputs and tapping back as well
Rapid? How?
Yeah what @chezboi said, it is just a bunch fast CDC-B (Crouch Dash cancel Back) done with different timings. So the longer you are in Crouch Dash/later you cancel the more you'll go forwards and the longer you hold back (either walk, dash or run back) the longer you will move backwards.
