Wow! Those no throttle flybys are insane. I remember as a kid maybe around 1990, my old man had a F-4 Phantom that flew NOWHERE as good as that did. Of course his was ducted fan and this is an EDF, but I would take the EDF any day. She flew beautifully and MOVED! Thing is quick. Unfortunately, Motion will never be seeing another nickel from me, so ill just have to either do a scratch-build or wait until someone else puts the F-4D out. I really have been toying with the idea of scratch-building a turbine jet. I have a ton of equipment that my dad is giving me to make some room since he pretty much is only building and flying scale warbirds nowadays. We shall see. Another great video my friend from Barstow
Beautiful centre-line landing ! I'm guessing that's a '70s nam paint-scheme?, to help evade bouncing Mig-21s.... such a great-looking jet, with the anhedral v dihedral tail-surfaces and wingtips; and the M-61 fairing...thanks for upload ! peace
Looks like Freewing has another fine looking and flying jet!!! Was wanting the A-4,but now this! I guess one of each would take care of that problem. Thanks for sharing this!
Nice Job Dude. That was an awesome Debut. Thanks for sharing and Happy flying Sure wish I had a runway like that without cars...LOL I'd fly mine.....Get tired of tearing up my plans on grass fields
man what a beautiful jet. I just got my 80mm A-10 Thunderbolt up and flying from free wing. and that's a beautiful jet 2, really easy to fly and very maneuverable. then finally this F4 Phantom comes out, now I want this one too. freewing just needs to take a break so I can catch up financially LOL.
They're going to be available from Motion RC, here's the link the their website: www.motionrc.com/collections/jets-and-ducted-fan Hope this helps! Cheers and Blue Skies Mate!
The F-4 Phantom was being flown at the annual Arizona Electric Festival, in Mesa Arizona, just east of Phoenix. An absolutely wonderful venue to debut this model and the weather couldn't have been better! Happy Landings!
Same model, flown by Tony Accurso, but his video is of the test flights out near his house. Arizona Electric Festival was the "official" debut of the model on announcement day :)! Cheers my friend!
Great demo, and recognizing our troops. I salute you.
Thank you so much my friend, all the best to you!
