Crikey! Was not expecting this! From the original Spin-Tires using logging as it's primary objective to Mud-Runner, using logging again, to Snow-Runner where you could transport a bunch of new stuff, to Expeditions, where idk, I haven't played it yet, to Road-Craft where we are making roads? Incredible!
Although it looks very exciting, what I've learned from Saber is to keep expectations low. Also that БАТ-М (the tracked cable laying thing) has been there since the OG Spintires but has never been released.
I wanted this as well Also I am excited to see if they bring back things like wheel slip like the original spin tiers focusing more on physics and driving skill. instead of turning stuff into stat based like mudrunner, snowrunner, and expeditions did. If you dont know in the original game vehichles where allowed to keep accelerating if you caught the wheel slip
From what I've seen now, this is a dream come true. Snowrunner is my all time favourite with the rest of the X-runner series coming right behind, but variety was the main drawback of all 3 games (not counting you Expeditions). Snowrunner somehow fixed it, however one thing I always wanted is to build more infrastructure and fix the hole ridden roads in SR. If RoadCraft (terible name in my opinion) is at least half way as good as it looks now I will be stuck inside it for years. Hopefully they nail the crafting and resource system, making it more engaging than pressing a button and sand magically appears in the bed of the truck. Having the K700 load up the sand from a pile into the bed would be amazing. Basically if it is more simulator like in the resource, crafting and construction department it is a guaranteed favourite for me. Also I hope it runs on older hardware. I'd consider the upgrade just for this one, but would be nice if it runs on some not so top of the line PCs
RoadCraft is actually a good name for this game. The gameplay includes key features from SnowRunner, like transporting materials, but it also has significantly more features when it comes to road work. This looks like a SnowRunner 2, but the title RoadCraft fits better. I'm glad to see this; it's a step up from SnowRunner. It's interesting how they saw two possible expansions from SnowRunner. If you expand the scout gameplay from SnowRunner, you get a new game: Expeditions: A MudRunner Game. And when you expand the truck gameplay in SnowRunner, you get RoadCraft. I also think there will be 100% year 5 season pass for snowrunner. And in the future there will be a snowrunner 2
Big fan of Snow runner Mud runner not so much Expeditions, but if this comes to pass as the trailer states I'm in, great stuff guys. Great video Telemenace was not expecting this thanks
Some other trivia I've just noticed: maybe nitpicking but a big mistake imo, rock and gravel is used for road construction, not sand. The "new" rescue truck is current gen super duty, same asset as the new "Earthroamer" but some modifications so no Ford license. The truck in the background at 6:05 is definitely MAN KAT A1, while the white truck at 7:20 looks like some variation of Kamaz from the "Mustang" series.
This looks amazing, but expeditions has made me skeptical about saber and home focus, so I believe we must remain vigilant and not get to worked up thinking it will be exactly what we want it to be, only time will tell if this is a successor or another spin off
The yellow monster pick up at the solar panel fields, looks a lot like a bronto lada niva "marsh" so i guess in the game will be like "polar don 71" (because the marsh was the first car in the pole, but cannot remember if north of south)
This looks a lot better than expeditions ever did to me lol. I’m not much a scouting person but I like farming simulator I like constructions simulator and I like snowrunner so if they can do a decent job even on implementing how everything works I think it will be a very fun game. High hopes low expectations is the way to go. Also 8 4sq km maps is more then snowrunner had at launch. Michigan was 2.75 Alaska 2.0 and Taymyr 2.0. Some maps are 2x1 or 1x2 and some are 1x1 like Drummond island Michigan so that is good news as well.
I totally get where you're coming from! It's exciting to see how much potential this game has, especially with those map sizes. Here's hoping they nail the mechanics and deliver a fun experience!
Snowrunner is great in terms of graphics and physics even tho it feels incomplete in some aspects. I myself am not that excited for these upcoming new game. It feels like more of the same and that they could implement these elements in snowrunner. I really wish they added new and more european style trucks like MAN Scania Daf tatra volvo instead of the old soviet machines but i guess it appeals to a big audience. I won't be wasting my time and money on basically the same game
Snowrunner and Expeditions are also arcade games. And this one will likely be the same case. RC car physics, poor sounds, spiderman winch, no proper gearbox/range box, arcade diff-locks and so on. The list is big
Unless they introduec real life engine torque to HP relationship and better (more realistic) physics, I'm not interested tbh. Having light trucks outpull heavy ass haulers is the cringiest thing ever.
I think that snowrunner is nearing its death, which is why saber is trying out these kind of different games (expeditions, and now this one) to keep the company from bankruptcy. imo, it's not much like snowrunner, but it's also not as bad as expeditions. thanks for the video! 👍
This clearly has strong DNA from snowrunner mixed with heavy machinery, a logical progression from snowrunner, in my opinion. Nothing at all to do with expeditions and how that was splintered off. Obviously, manage expectations. It looks promising if these features are implemented well. We'll see.
I already don't like the idea. All those things should have been implemented in SnowRunner, not kept for the other title. Also, I don't see any major graphical or physical improvements. No licensed machinery as well (except K-700). Same only 4 sq. km maps. Also, though they showed some tracked vehicles, the DEVs didn't promise any major change in this field. I beg you guys, no preorders. Saber should learn their lessons. This thing is going to be worse than Expeditions. By the way, where are new seasons for Expeditions? Are they going to come out at all?
You called a load of pipe a generator. You don't know what a roller is. You consistently mutter and stumble your way through every sentence. I made it 2 minutes and 38 2nd. S into your video before I had to call it quits.

From logging to road crafting, it's like watching a lumberjack turn into a civil engineer! Who knew mud could lead to construction? 😉
03:20 TRACKED VEHICLES
I missed that :)
Yeah, and it's look like soviet tracked vehicle, one variant of AT-T
Although it looks very exciting, what I've learned from Saber is to keep expectations low. Also that БАТ-М (the tracked cable laying thing) has been there since the OG Spintires but has never been released.
We shall see
Throwing shade at expeditions, I love it
Thank you. I‘m very hyped now, this could be a great game for Snowrunner fans. 👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks for the support. ;) game looks awesome :)
My wishes came true! Remember me talking about this a while back? Wanting to be able to fix up roads to make them more passable! LOL
I wanted this as well
Also I am excited to see if they bring back things like wheel slip like the original spin tiers focusing more on physics and driving skill.

Absolutely ! your name came into my mind straightaway Jon :D Your wishes are coming true !
looks like a potentially great game, I really hope they include an excavator and ability to DIG with it
I am Pogging right now. It LOOKS like everything we have been asking for. I hope I can run this thing...

Tracked vehicles! Finally!
Well caught ! Yes !

expeditions didn't quite pan out, but if they're not just showing off and we'll really have terraforming, then I'm in
the premise of this game looks so much better than expeditions.

Ok, I’m hyped

Whoa, you’re like a walking encyclopedia for trucks! Thanks for breaking that down for me, I’ll keep an eye out for those details next time!
Cool I’m looking forward to the new game!
2025 ..... great, still have time to enjoy Snowrunner 😊
The mods for this game is gonna be INSANE! I'm skeptical after Expeditions...but looks extremely promising.
Doesn’t seem like you can use winches. That being said I’m super stoked this is next gen only. Opens the game up for so much more.
I wander if its gonna be buildings asweal. So basically snowrunner, plus all this
Look it looks cool I love snow runner I'm going to have to get that too
5:38 I hope we will be able to operate the excavator too. I don't think I've seen it in the video.
Woe it's already looks very promising and I thought they might merge sr and expeditions and that what that looks like to me so very excited
Nice to see how they move on and add even more :) Sure will be in my to do, when it comes out....
This looks amazing, but expeditions has made me skeptical about saber and home focus, so I believe we must remain vigilant and not get to worked up thinking it will be exactly what we want it to be, only time will tell if this is a successor or another spin off
You raise some valid points! It’s always good to approach new releases with a cautious optimism. Let’s see how it all unfolds!
I can’t wait to play this game 😍
Looks amazing. Could have been called Roadrunner? Can’t wait to see more gameplay.
Right? It does have that vibe! Can’t wait to show you more-stay tuned! 🎮💥
Now this, i might get this. Wanst very interested in getting expeditions but in want this
The yellow monster pick up at the solar panel fields, looks a lot like a bronto lada niva "marsh" so i guess in the game will be like "polar don 71" (because the marsh was the first car in the pole, but cannot remember if north of south)
Nice insight! More soviet vehicles ! :)
This looks amazing!!!
Great news!
03:20-now way!Finally!!!
Only critique i have is the lack of licensed vehicles but otherwise looks like some solid potential
6:59 Niva Pickup
Niva Marsh :)
This looks really cool, I might actually have a reason to save for a PS5 now.
Save dat cheddar 😋
6:05 i's not installing pipe, it's removing damaged one xD
I'm a terrible builder :D
In every video about RoadCraft there are people saying its expeditions 2.0. Nowadays hating/cancelling really is a Hype.
This game looks Awesome!!!!!!
This will not be Snowrunner 2. It's a separate game like Expedition
Looks amazing!!!
I wonder if you can repair buildings, or if its just a road repair game.
OMG I am going to pave EVERYTHING if they let me.
Haha, that sounds like an ambitious plan! Just remember to leave some space for the grass to grow!

Well, I hope my pc can run it
tracked vehicules?!!!!
3:03 I think it’s supposed to be a trenching machine
I think you are right ✅️
RIP Expeditions?
RIP Snowrunner?
I dont think so
@@teleMenace Do you think Snowrunner will get a year 5 pass? Also I couldn’t care less for Expeditions.
Snowrunner is great in terms of graphics and physics even tho it feels incomplete in some aspects. I myself am not that excited for these upcoming new game. That looks all some
It does
Roadrunner was taken.
Next title ? :O
What GPU are you using
3070ti
All saber had to do was introduce the new physics and shit from expeditions into snowrunner.
What do we get....
Expedtions v2 ugh
Yay! Another excuse to abandon Snowrunner!!!
Sound like it will have some rts elements...1:27 5:23
For sure , but I think it's going to be like AI driving involved
so far it looks awesome but one fear i have is that there might be a lack of offroading
Mods can help with that
Hopefully no lack of off-roading , Mr.Chan :)
Holy shit yes👍
whats up telemenace its been a min since i talk to i wonder if this game going to have a gas station for our trucks
What’s up! If there’s no gas station, I guess we’ll just have to start a trucking business that runs on pure optimism and snacks!
This is what Farming Simulator wants to be and cant. because they are a console arcade game.
Snowrunner and Expeditions are also arcade games. And this one will likely be the same case. RC car physics, poor sounds, spiderman winch, no proper gearbox/range box, arcade diff-locks and so on. The list is big

It's that Saber logic. And people have the guts to call their game a "Simulator".
Ok, this is pretty fucking epic
Why do a new Game when they can put this features on SnowRunner, as expansions or DLC I could pay it for.
SR can be more Greater!!!!
Because it's using a new physics engine
@@spicylemon2623 ok

imo, it's not much like snowrunner, but it's also not as bad as expeditions.
thanks for the video! 👍
maybe they cut the cake in two parts.
one is for exploration and other is for cargo and infrastructure.
Always with terrible engine sound system?.... No thanks....
Warum wird das alles nicht in snowrunner eingefügt will man mit einem neuen spiel erst man wieder im vorraus zur kasse bitten
Because it's using a new physics engine
Expeditions 2.0 is coming... Saber did not learned anything
This looks nothing like Expeditions though...! This actually has cargo trucks. And this has rigs & trailers for equipment and I imagine cargo as well.
@@GrySgtBubba Yeah no idea where this guy is getting Expeditions 2.0 from.
@@justinlynch3 Apparently out his poop shute I guess 🤣
