To be honest, we were expecting something like "Live vol.2" but that's still satisfying, like any other work of you. LordHenry is one of the most badass songs I've ever heard and you guys mesmerize me even more with every new performance.
I didn't expect much of it, Live vol 2 needs much time to prepare + it's a stream. Suppose it's too early for it. But now every new session is a present! I was truly waiting for this as Parcels was keeping silence about it. Also they haven't uploaded on this channel for several months!!!

Just came back to this, remembering the mix sounding absolutely horrible. Clicked on it to see if it really was this bad. God, the overheads on the drumset are just so poorly placed, such a shame. Would've really enjoyed the music you made but it's really hard... It's even clipping at 12:57 WTF And the "balance" of the mix is just so off. At 03:04 the guitar is way too loud compared to the voclas and the rest of the instruments do no better in this beautifully arranged vocal focused part. PLEASE promise me to produce Live Vol. 2 in Berlin again. Hansa Studios is just great for this!

And I completely disagree with the choices on the drum mixing but this is personal opinion. Famous is super muddy and balance is completely thrown off. When the song gets quiet it sounds more like Abbey Road Studios should sound. Maybe sound bleeding into other microphones? LordHenry ist by far the best though there are some clipping errors in the keys. All songs lack dynamics. Feels super dense compared to the recording in Hansa Studios. I am kind of disappointed but as an audio engineer and musician I can not enjoy this as much as I would want to.
The vocals in the last minute of Lord Henry from 15:30 are absolutely unreal, dare I say perfect. Bravo to the lucky engineer who got to work with my favourite band. 🕺

Feeling love and proud to this performance and to be a fan of Parcels. They always give me goosebumps as their lives are different from time to time yet so inspiringly. Thanks to the studio's technicians as well, the audio here is very clear that I almost be able to hear their layer instrument play and the vocal harmony. I just wish for more time as 16 minutes is not enough.
I've never been a huge fan of Bee Gees or Queen, but Parcels brings together the sound of various bands I don't particularly like into one admirable band.
