    Feeling particularly misunderstood and unseen today. Experiencing a form of one-up-man-ship today and realised I always have. I’m expected to remain calm all the time even in the face of death. Labelled bad and needy if I show emotions. Need to self soothe, thank you for this x

    What a fantastic synchronicity and a blessing when this came up on my feed. My garden is chronically neglected and has been for a great many years, which is probably why I am suffering with a very painful fibromyalgia flare up and a job redundancy. I had been so busy trying too hard I had forgotten who I was and how to care for myself. This meditation has been a fantastic relief in every sense, prompting an awareness of and caring towards my own personal garden. Thank you so much for posting and for all the goodness you bring, it is deeply appreciated xx

    Ok, you earned a new subscriber! I was in tears when going down the pathways of my garden, while looking and admiring all of my life stages per corner 😢. I plan to retrain my brain, as I have been battling severe anxiety/ agoraphobia. I am a mother of five with a wonderful new baby and postpartum has been very tough and mind altering to say the least. I ca not wait to see the positive changes by being kind to myself and utilizing this wonderful guided meditation when feelings of distress come on❤ 🙏🏽

    This was beautiful I was able to look at my garden with confidence, and tender with care. Surely has been a journey for me but I’m thankful for the lessons I’ve learned, and I am now embracing the journey ahead with clarity and patience.

    This is exactly what I needed tonight. I pictured a weedy area in the back of my yard, and thought, “yep! That’s what my mind feels like!”

    Hi Sarah I woke up at 2.30 at night and listened to this and felt better it's lovely. Overwhelmed again as Bank has refused our mortgage after 4 months waiting so very disappointed and listened to cheer up.

    Please state in the title it is a visualisation meditation. Sometimes that's not what is needed & it alleviates wasting time

    This is going to sound like a joke or something to make it sound like I’m mocking mindfulness but it isn’t and I’m not.
    My garden was on fire.
    I started off fine. I was relaxed, i focused on my breathing, I pictured the path in the forest to the garden, and I was trying to be receptive. But everything changed when I was supposed to envision the obstacles.
    Instead of thorns or something, a volcano sprang up and started erupting. As you were guiding me to remove the rocks and thorns, I couldn’t do anything about the volcano. So I just skipped when you got to the garden. Everything seemed relatively ok but I couldn’t stop thinking about the volcano. And in the part where my relationships were, lava just overran everything. In the self care area a flaming rock landed and destroyed it.
    When I was in the center of the garden and you were telling me to focus on the empowering words I was being whipped by a shadow telling me the opposite. And on the path to the big tree instead of the flowers they were shadowy, skeletal hands. And the big tree was fine until you said it represented my resilience. Then it was on fire and the bark began to shatter as the wind blew harder against it.
    Then when you gave the last empowering words I was in a headlock by the shadow and it repeated what you were saying but in a mocking way, to tell me that they weren’t true for me.
    Its voice was distorted but I heard my own in there. There was no way out of the burning garden and I couldn’t even find the way I came in.
    Idk what to do now. I just want to stop feeling like this all the time.

    Found this guided meditation to be kind of stressful but I think maybe that’s not a bad thing? I feel like it brought up a lot of stuff that I wasn’t wanting to consciously acknowledge
