Ive almost given up on the world, but this keeps me hanging around. Damn, if releases their stuff in the 1980a whwn himans had an atention span of more than 6 seconds it would be Top 10 gold
@@nygarmik Writing melodic music with masterful hook and catchy choruses is definately something that Swedes have done every decade since the 60s.. in every genre and subgenre. That's all the evidence i need to say that it's an innate abilty every Swede has from birth. Some say it's passed down through culture, but i dismiss that notion completely because of reasons.
it sounds hyperbolic to call these guys "my favorite band in the world" but I'm super tempted to just say that and get it over with. Hell with it. YES. THEY'RE MY FAVORITE BAND IN THE WORLD.
Actually, using Divinyls as a title is a very nice gesture of respect and the band members are obviously fans. For anyone unfamiliar and curious about Chrissy Amphlett and Divinyls I would suggest *Divinyls Live 1984 - Elsie* and I love the way they captured the flavour of the 80s with *Good Die Young* and the *In My Life* video always puts a smile on my face. I like what The Night Flight Orchestra has done here and wish it even greater success.
@Warren552011 Yeah there is a similarity to Human League but it sounds like they've borrowed bits from all over. I've been diving into some of the Canadian music from that time that seems to resonate from that standpoint. Gowan's ''Moonlight Desires'' has a similar feel but I'll have to dig deeper into his catalogue because I'm feeling that there is something more representative....maybe. Someone in the comments mentioned Stereopony ''Hitohira No Hanabira'' having a very similar chorus. They're a very dynamic little Japanese girl band. If you check them out try the live performance. That's RUclips constantly enriching my cultural experience when I should be sleeping...
Shit yes son ! Get this, 5th nfo album, released on the 5th day of the week, 55 minute running time. Synchronicity....And for a soilwork reference, figure number 5. Great song too!!
Escutei essa música hoje na rádio Kiss FM no programa Bem que se Kiss com Bruno Suter. Obrigado Bruno por sempre trazer pérolas músicas. Que banda legal! Nostalgia atual dos anos 80.
yes, can be, but IMO, the better part is just not JSS or another hard rock singer. It´s a great surprise to hear musicians out from hard rock playing that song!
NFO steps into Soilwork's footsteps of making weird under-budgeted videos for great music (although the concept is somewhat heartwarming and different). Looking forward to the new album. :-)
Bro like I swear to god when I heard this song for the first time that opening riff made me think it was taken from Aquarium Park act 1 of Sonic Colors
Welcome onboard, folks. Enjoy the flight!
RETRO 80’S NEW WAVE SYNTH
Hail from brazil
Love these guys! Something new/old.
Thank you!
This is how heavy, this fusion of Foreigner/Duran Duran/Europe can ever go.
Enjoyed this 80's, 35 years later!
Bjorn is vocal legend. Loving Soilwork for almost 20 years and growing up in the 80's I love this so much!!!
That "arena" is from Björns hometown of Landskrona. Same as me. 🥰

I'm from the eighties and I approve of that
That chorus is so abba inspired, I love it.
That chorus sounds fairly similar to a song from the last Soilwork album, I can't remember exactly which one though..I think Ageless Whisper..
And a bit of Bon Jovi's Runaway
The Swedish have it in their blood, I think... Respect from eastern neighbor.

Great 80's inspired songwriting and done so well.
They deserve more recognition.
Not even the bands from the 80’s sounds so 80’s
Hi, Warren...Reckoned I'd find you here. Pretty strong click bait for some of us....aye

ASL Season 9 brought me here and I am so glad to have found this! I love this sound
How have I gone so many years without knowing this band there great I've always loved soilwork
It has that very 80's Flashdance vibes which is good... This I LIKE 👍🤘
Sweet throwback to Stereopony's Hitohira No Hanabira!
Spot on! It rang a bell for me as well. =)
RIP David Andersson 😔
Everything Bjorn touches is gold. The man can do no wrong.
fellow soilworker David Andersson is the mastermind behind it but without Bjorn hed be nowhere.
Can we have this band in Eurovision
I can so hear Jeff Scott Soto singing this one.
yes, can be, but IMO, the better part is just not JSS or another hard rock singer. It´s a great surprise to hear musicians out from hard rock playing that song!
Hola no escuchaba una banda tan buena desde el año 2000 por lo menos gracias por existir un saludo
the riff of the begining is totally ageless whisper of Soilwork

Fy fan va bra! Å konståknings som känns så jävla 80. Full pott! Låter bättre än många av banden gjorde i sina bästa stunder på 80talet
TNFO Kicks Ass!!!!
These discoish 80s synths are like infection lately.
I love that NFO sounds like Soilwork from the 80s

Клевый клип и песня!!!! Greetings from Russia!))
NFO steps into Soilwork's footsteps of making weird under-budgeted videos for great music (although the concept is somewhat heartwarming and different). Looking forward to the new album. :-)
yea totally worth it. At least they spend the cash on creating music and save it on the videos. I wouldnt like the other way around.

Haha yes some of the leads are so similar. Great band.

Perfect !
Whos here reliving Bloodstock 2024 🔥 ✋
Superb song! though it reminds me a lot to the central part (03:49) of "Ludovico Einaudi - Devenire"
I thought Speed was gonna oversee Nancy Kerrigan getting her revenge.
Que viva el sonido ochentero 🤘👊
After hearing this song I bought all their albums fucking awesome 🤘
Se escucha como la canción “The Ageless Whisper” 🥺🤭
единственная годная песня за все 2 альбома..
Damn. These guys crank out a new album every eight months it seems.
Catchier than coronavirus
Cool
Why does this remind me of Ghost - Mary On A Cross?
Funny you should mention ghost, this band was randomly played on my Ghost Playlist on Spotify, and I've been on a bing lately. They're sooo good!
The Flight goes to 80's
The fact that the 80's keeps making major comebacks is just proof that the 200'0s suck lol
lol Right?
Ottimo pezzo, Ghost style
Nuclear Blast?!! ... I'm speechless.
