It stayed up in the trees in his yard, but wouldn't come down to him. So, he just put food and water out for it and it stayed around. But, when winter came he found the little guy laying on the ground frozen solid!
That stinks. I’m sure the monkey is better off with his actual owner. Why does Big Brother always have to meddle? The monkey and it’s owner had a legal, and apparently functioning situation in Florida. Why should they have to be separated just because of State line bureaucracy?

Could you imagine the harm that could befall the people in Connecticut if that monkey was returned to its original owner rather than relocated?! We are talking some serious stuff here, like a neighbor smoking weed in the privacy of their own home, serious. Scary world we live in when private citizens have illegal pet monkeys...

What they aren't reporting about are the 50 other monkeys that captured and carried a man screaming man off into the woods. A gnome and a horse girl went off to rescue him but only because he still hasn't paid him.

I get the monkey's not legal to be kept as a pet, but we have to consider the fact that it was.. the guy just moved to the area, so if he came from somewhere he was allowed to have this monkey, there's no telling how long he's had it or how domesticated the monkey is.. wild marmosets may need to be in the wild, but this marmoset is probably missing his daddy, and his daddy is definitely missing him.. IDC if I were in the wrong for having the pet, if my neighbor's hasty actions of calling authorities before asking around with neighbors, I'd probably be leaving lit bags of fecal matter on his porch on the regular..
