Incorrect. It is actually the most repairable surface yet, or at least as much as the laptops since Gen3. Do some research before you comment and people think you know. This unit is actually very easy to open.
You're the first review I've seen that mentioned the lack of physical buttons. Not a fan of that change at all, so thanks for the warning! I'm probably going to get the laptop studio when i need to replace my current device, but hopefully by then the studio 2 will be out, with more ports and phys. buttons.
my screen glitches!!! this costed me 2k and when changing tabs or different software it glitches for a few seconds which is annoying and it happens everyday!!!
I like how quick and concise this video was, you clearly show the main points that needed improvement. I agree with all of these and add lack of a micro sd card slot. for the volume issue, you can add invisible (or visible) touch buttons on the screen to adjust volume and other things, not a physical button but allows you the function. send me an email if you get a moment.
I would want a next gen 14/16 inch version with thunderbolt 4, Headphone jack, SD Card, and USB A included ports. The next gen also needs a more powerful graphics card. :) Hopefully these studio laptop becomes yearly release because the current gen graphic card is a measely 3050ti.
Must say, I was far from pleased. Starting at all these valid points you have stated, plus the most annoying for me: 1. The screen is super reflective and in bright office settings its very distracting. 2. After buying a i7 2TB version, the pen is not even included. 3. The screen resolution is terrible, even though it had a high res screen, a simple thing like the wallpaper will look dreadful, even with a high resolution image. And to conclude, the specs are quite nice and the marketing is great, but practically not the best choice, would not choose this again.
