Song of Flame, Scorch boosting Fragments, Hellion, Tractor Cannon, and the Exotic Class mark with both Apotheosis Veil and Star Eater would probably be an extremely strong support Warlock strategy for bosses like Crota or the first Boss in Salvation's Edge. Maybe even Nezarec. I'm going to have to try it when I can
The point is to throw it out and do dps with ur weapons while it weakens....maybe a small buff is needed but really ur dps is on u. Super gives u a 400k head start plus weaken
I feel like people are forgetting you can use weapons too while in song of flame. There's a bit of downtime between cycles that I've been filling with dragons breath shots. I haven't tested it but a demo rocket might be even better.

insane that Thundercrash with Curaiss a super that requires you to physically hit the boss and doesn't work in multiple situations does less damage than golden gun... not to mention how utterly useless base t-crash is without Curaiss.
Golden gun can dish out a massive amount of damage but you have to hit the crit. There are quite a few enemies that are highly mobile and you’re aiming for the very top of their body, not the center or general vicinity. You hit a body and you do 1/5th the damage. You barely miss and you’re doing 0. There are a handful of enemies that that shot is a gimme (Oryx). Yes you can stand far out of harms way but you have to hit the shot. T-crass is high risk. You fly straight at the enemy, but as long as you hit the enemy or right next to it you’re dealing max damage. But there are a bunch of those burst supers that are pretty similar. Blade barrage, arc staff throw, nova, T-crash, needle storm, void axe throw etc… and the damage numbers are drastically different. And I can’t for the life of me figure out why they are set at such different points. They seem more like arbitrary decisions instead of purposeful balance made by the team

Wow, you can pair Spirit of Star Eaters with Spirits of Apotheosis, Inmost Light or Necrotic as well for even more damage! Those options will all be worth testing for sure for dps and total damage!
I'm pleasantly surprised with the arc super for Hunter. It seems to be putting out the same amount of damage as the Titan ax. Granted it doesn't have access to weaken but it seems to be pretty good damage

I know this is a weird one; but can we test the damage of Bleak Watcher + Arc Soul + Hellion + Arcane Needle + Facet of Courage? It's basically purely passive damage in the background, but I feel like it might deal more damage than it should, something was weird about it
T-crash needs a buff, shitty super that requires an exotic, goes to melee range, clips through bosses, and useless in most encounters. And the prismatic nade needs a buff against enemies with suspension immunity, the jolt won't trigger more than once if the enemy isn't suspended.
I was doing some playing around of my own with song of flame, and let me just mention you get fairly substantial increases when using Claws of Ahamkara or Verity's Brow. With Claws, you can melee twice and then throw nade and repeat, which removes all downtime from waiting for abilities. Verity's Brow can give the double grenade damage, which works inside of the super. (Note: Verity's builds stacks based on the element of your equipped grenade, and not the super's grenade. So, for example, I had an arc grenade and I could still build stacks inside of the super with indebited kindness.) This showed a slightly better increase in damage over claws, and I only had the verity's buff for half of the super, but I imagine this could have a huge impact on teammates if by chance both song of flame's grenade regen and verity's bonus grenade regen stack together. I wasn't able to test that, but if it allows teammates to throw grenades non-stop that could be huge.
Correction on the math used to remove the 25%. Dividing by 1.25 does not equal subtracting by 25%. For an example from the video The adjusted value for twilight arsenal with the artifact mod was 394,500. That's the value when using the equation 493,125/1.25. But when you use the equation 493,125-(25/100x493,125) or more simply put 493,125-25%, you get the value of 369843.75, or 369844 since damge is always rounded up
Great test overall, but I do wish you got the values for the Twilight Axes being thrown (all 3) as well as all light attacks, and if there's an ideal combo, added to the instantaneous cast's damage
All 15% weakened is 25% with Expanding Abyss, but 30% is only buffed to 35%. So if everyone is using void weapons you can get out "a lot" of the smaller weakening effects then to have someone on Tractor. For example the new Titan super, followed by a weakened grenade 8(?) seconds later to extend it
Not suitable in a DPS context, you're wasting time and potential DPS by running to the axes to pick them up. The damage dealt by the dropped axes isn't enough to make up for the loss of DPS running to them.
For song a flame use dragon breath as well since the constant ignites are causing dragons breath to instantly reload itself my friend got 4 shots off while spamming abilities
You need to redo the twilight arsenal test. Get two more members and all of you take the axes and start whaling on the boss. Your excluding a lot of damage by not doing that
You should have thrown the axes too to show how much that can get. Cause the original twilight super is way quicker then most other supers. Which is great for dps. Not to mention you used exotics with others and could have used Synthoceps with it. Plus everyone gets star eaters soon. But you kept using it for Hunter and not using Synthos with Titan
You maximized song of flame by using all abilities until super was expended. You need to use Twilight Arsenal, and also pick up the axes and use its heavy attack for all 3 axes for a more representing total.
Stasis hunter 358k with star eater? So without its like 150-200k at most? Every stasis super needs at least a 75% damage boost. They helped stasis out but what it really needed was more damage
@@shade072 Most builds on void or prismatic shouldn't be using synthos, it's just a weaker version of Wormgod's. It's also important to note the damage over time. As in T-Crash is shorter than a full Twilight Arsenal for most bosses, there are exceptions like Oryx.
Interested to see song of flame without ember of ashes in case we're using it on prismatic. Also *very* interested in seeing some demolitionist apex predator gameplay with it, since it feels like it could be quite good
Was just able to get 1,110,197 on the same boss with Song of Flame melee only and Bastion with it's new buffs. On Prismatic so no Ember of Ashes. *Also no Claws of Ahamkara which I mentioned in another comment
After hellion, should have tried the combo of bleakwatcher, arc soul from artists, and hellion. As these can provide extra passive damage while doing something else (weapon or super) just to see what they themselves would add
A few points- You continued to use your melee and grenade after song of flame ended when you tested veil. Slightly more damage because of it. Probably still break a million. Any titan super tested without Synthoceps is missing 50% damage (excluding crash and maul with paired exotic).
I think song of flame with stasis turret, apotheosis and the fragment that boosts light damage against darkness debuffed targets will be the best tractor build for close quarters, besides child of the old gods of course
Nah Hellion with Arcane Needle & Necrotics is the play, and you can have Devour for all the regular adds. For DPS just Pop Hellion and tag the enemy with Arcane Needle then hotswap to Apotheosis and pop super and dump everything. Unravel is an infinite debuff as long as the enemy is taking damage so where your Turret will eventually run out, Unravel will not. Necrotic at the start is just for a smidge of bonus damage and Hellion helps ignite enemies faster since this subclass lacks the Ember of Ashes fragment.
Imagine using stillhunt+celestial goldie combo then going trancandent with a heavy (preferably a rocket) and going crazy with withering blade(for optimal ability regen)+hunter prismatic grenade for the raid.

I REmember hearing all last season that T crash was bugged, not exactly sure what but i think something to do with collision...my thinking is that everyone thought that it was a bug that the impact dmg fell thru the floor and all of its dmg moved on to the aoe
Yeah I like it it’s good but in terms of damage it’s just too little, all other supers especially hunters even warlocks it’s just not great for titans right now
I think the fact that twilight arsenal has the unique feature of letting your freinds do damage with you is where the true strength lies and on top of it you can weaken and suppress the boss for extra damage

Im a titan main but dam that warlock solar super is crazy. And even can come in handy if boss damage phase is over but you still have super or extra super with the helmet to clear alot of adds surrounding the boss so everyone can escape safe for next phase😂
Wanted to ask but have you thought about/ever tested which of the grenades would be stronger for the apotheosis veil build? Like I know you tested it for a solar build but are fusion grenades the strongest grenade? Like what about some of the prismatic grenades/melees? Are storm grenades not worth testing? or like vortex grenades with the weakening fragment? what about using threaded needle too? I don't totally know how strong ignitions are in terms of everything so I figured it would be worth asking about.

Not a big deal but I imagine every hunter will use the snare bomb for dps. It weakens and makes us radiant. Bonus 30% overall. Also new sniper gives us double nighthawk shots
It takes 30 seconds to do a Apothesis Veil after Song of Flame. It takes too long. Chaos reach has this problem. You would also have to sit there without dying for 30 seconds right next to a boss in a world without well.
From my time messing with it, the new titan exotic chest at x6, apex predator with bait and switch and twilight arsenal is pretty sick. Get weaken, proc bait and switch then pop thruster class ability and start blasting
Btw for the Pyrogale damage testing you're supposed to be popping the super with pyrogales, then switch to synthos and proc biotic enhancements, then slam it to deal the most amount of damage. Don't forget ember of ashes too
If you're going to test max damage with apotheosis on song of flame, you NEED to do the same for the other warlock supers or else its not a fair test to those. And why did you not try synthoceps with twilight arsenal?
for sure need threadling dmg frag on strand and should rly try it with spothos veil spamming threadling nades, start off by spamming out your melees and nades so the target is unraveled 1st id go so far as to say maybe another 100k dmg tbh its much more of a crowd tool but for sure puts alot of hurt on bosses, jplus a weavers call going out twice

What about the axes that Twilight Arsenal drops? They weaken on hit and there is the option to throw them for more damage on their last bit of ammo. If u found damage of one of them, you could add the other 2 to the total, hypothetically speaking that you had two other teammates picking them up
ive been using armormentarium on prismatic bc well two nades is nice for double the glacier walls, also once transendence ends those two nades are always back up and available, which you can consume BOTH for a longer shield duration banking more dmg. didnt dmg test but i hit an ogre and some trash once and got just over 50% of my super back...i was also using ashes to assets and firepower, but idr if i actually got the one or two orbs that were made factored into the super gen
Pyrogale just drops its 571k over its duration and the whole time it’s doing its damage you’re also dpsing with your weapons. Easily the best for boss damage.
Void debuff in the artifact: if you apply as 15% debuff, the debuff will jump to 25%: If you apply a 30%, the debuff will jump to 35%. Apply to capacities ans void weapons (I don't know if all team members must have the artifact mode enabled). Nb: divinity is 15% and will apparently override other debuffs (ie: tractor + div = 15% as div will override the tractor debuff). My new strat is to use prismatic to make 1000 tangles because it makes a billion tangles for some reason. And then have the team whirling maelstrom hunter throw or shoot all of them. I think each one does about 15-20k per second. Get 10 of them going and that would be a beyblade party of about 150-200k per second if my math isn’t way off

You missed facet of courage (prismatic fragment) that is a 10% buff of light abilities to darkness debuffed target. It also stack with void weaken

Don't forg, the main point of Twilight Arsenal is the axes being able to be used by you AND teammates, so the damage there would probably go higher

@@shade072 Most builds on void or prismatic shouldn't be using synthos, it's just a weaker version of Wormgod's. It's also important to note the damage over time. As in T-Crash is shorter than a full Twilight Arsenal for most bosses, there are exceptions like Oryx.
Interested to see song of flame without ember of ashes in case we're using it on prismatic. Also *very* interested in seeing some demolitionist apex predator gameplay with it, since it feels like it could be quite good
Song and storms edge are the best of the new ones. Can’t wait to get an exotic that lets us launch it 5 times or cause an amped up jolt on each hit

I’ve heard people who played a couple weeks ago say that the hunter’s Hailfire spike is the worst and in my experience, I disagree completely.
Was just able to get 1,110,197 on the same boss with Song of Flame melee only and Bastion with it's new buffs. On Prismatic so no Ember of Ashes. *Also no Claws of Ahamkara which I mentioned in another comment
After hellion, should have tried the combo of bleakwatcher, arc soul from artists, and hellion.
As these can provide extra passive damage while doing something else (weapon or super) just to see what they themselves would add

A few points-
You continued to use your melee and grenade after song of flame ended when you tested veil. Slightly more damage because of it. Probably still break a million.
Any titan super tested without Synthoceps is missing 50% damage (excluding crash and maul with paired exotic).
I’m glad Warlocks are on top on this one,for once at least. Rarely rarely is it ever there.
I think song of flame with stasis turret, apotheosis and the fragment that boosts light damage against darkness debuffed targets will be the best tractor build for close quarters, besides child of the old gods of course
Nah Hellion with Arcane Needle & Necrotics is the play, and you can have Devour for all the regular adds. For DPS just Pop Hellion and tag the enemy with Arcane Needle then hotswap to Apotheosis and pop super and dump everything. Unravel is an infinite debuff as long as the enemy is taking damage so where your Turret will eventually run out, Unravel will not. Necrotic at the start is just for a smidge of bonus damage and Hellion helps ignite enemies faster since this subclass lacks the Ember of Ashes fragment.
Imagine using stillhunt+celestial goldie combo then going trancandent with a heavy (preferably a rocket) and going crazy with withering blade(for optimal ability regen)+hunter prismatic grenade for the raid.
The hunter prismatic grenade is dogshit. You are better off just ignoring it.

I REmember hearing all last season that T crash was bugged, not exactly sure what but i think something to do with collision...my thinking is that everyone thought that it was a bug that the impact dmg fell thru the floor and all of its dmg moved on to the aoe

Yeah I like it it’s good but in terms of damage it’s just too little, all other supers especially hunters even warlocks it’s just not great for titans right now

I think the fact that twilight arsenal has the unique feature of letting your freinds do damage with you is where the true strength lies and on top of it you can weaken and suppress the boss for extra damage

@@The24soldier sorry don’t be mean to be a jerk haha. I think titans and hunters always had great damage, while warlocks were always meant to “support” the other classes by amplifying their damage instead of doing the damage themselves. It’s refreshing to see the new warlock damage numbers.
Im a titan main but dam that warlock solar super is crazy. And even can come in handy if boss damage phase is over but you still have super or extra super with the helmet to clear alot of adds surrounding the boss so everyone can escape safe for next phase😂

Wanted to ask but have you thought about/ever tested which of the grenades would be stronger for the apotheosis veil build? Like I know you tested it for a solar build but are fusion grenades the strongest grenade? Like what about some of the prismatic grenades/melees? Are storm grenades not worth testing? or like vortex grenades with the weakening fragment? what about using threaded needle too? I don't totally know how strong ignitions are in terms of everything so I figured it would be worth asking about.
If you add helion to the apotheosis song of flame, you get 1,380,000 from that one super All abilities

Not a big deal but I imagine every hunter will use the snare bomb for dps. It weakens and makes us radiant. Bonus 30% overall. Also new sniper gives us double nighthawk shots
It takes 30 seconds to do a Apothesis Veil after Song of Flame. It takes too long. Chaos reach has this problem.
You would also have to sit there without dying for 30 seconds right next to a boss in a world without well.
For the viewers wondering no wormgods do not increase the damage from bladefury and the combo was also not the highest dps one
From my time messing with it, the new titan exotic chest at x6, apex predator with bait and switch and twilight arsenal is pretty sick. Get weaken, proc bait and switch then pop thruster class ability and start blasting
What's nice as well is that the rocket sidearms get buffed too. The Call + Indebted + Apex is gonna cook.
Btw for the Pyrogale damage testing you're supposed to be popping the super with pyrogales, then switch to synthos and proc biotic enhancements, then slam it to deal the most amount of damage. Don't forget ember of ashes too

If you're going to test max damage with apotheosis on song of flame, you NEED to do the same for the other warlock supers or else its not a fair test to those. And why did you not try synthoceps with twilight arsenal?

for sure need threadling dmg frag on strand and should rly try it with spothos veil spamming threadling nades, start off by spamming out your melees and nades so the target is unraveled 1st id go so far as to say maybe another 100k dmg tbh its much more of a crowd tool but for sure puts alot of hurt on bosses, jplus a weavers call going out twice

Imo i thought the hunter super was going to be horrible, but it's actually by far my favorite one. It doubles as damage and mobility, on top of the fact that it recharges extremely fast
Why do you think it recharges fast? According to my game it has the same cooldown as gathering storm.

What about the axes that Twilight Arsenal drops? They weaken on hit and there is the option to throw them for more damage on their last bit of ammo. If u found damage of one of them, you could add the other 2 to the total, hypothetically speaking that you had two other teammates picking them up
Opted not to test purely because it's not optimal to go to your axes after throwing them, too much DPS loss IMO.

ive been using armormentarium on prismatic bc well two nades is nice for double the glacier walls, also once transendence ends those two nades are always back up and available, which you can consume BOTH for a longer shield duration banking more dmg. didnt dmg test but i hit an ogre and some trash once and got just over 50% of my super back...i was also using ashes to assets and firepower, but idr if i actually got the one or two orbs that were made factored into the super gen

Pyrogale just drops its 571k over its duration and the whole time it’s doing its damage you’re also dpsing with your weapons. Easily the best for boss damage.
Void debuff in the artifact: if you apply as 15% debuff, the debuff will jump to 25%: If you apply a 30%, the debuff will jump to 35%. Apply to capacities ans void weapons (I don't know if all team members must have the artifact mode enabled).
Nb: divinity is 15% and will apparently override other debuffs (ie: tractor + div = 15% as div will override the tractor debuff).

Transference: Gain increased grenade and melee damage while transcendent. Weapon final blows while transcendent refund Light and Dark energy after Transcendence ends.
to check if activating transcendeance before activating the warlock new super will increase damages.
One thing i wanna ask about the testing if you had the fragments that boosted stasis shatter damage whenever you used anything with stasis

My new strat is to use prismatic to make 1000 tangles because it makes a billion tangles for some reason. And then have the team whirling maelstrom hunter throw or shoot all of them. I think each one does about 15-20k per second. Get 10 of them going and that would be a beyblade party of about 150-200k per second if my math isn’t way off
