Now I’m going to spend 15 minutes wondering what to do with my free time
Doh!
Thank you, you are a very kind person
Pedro pascal is a damn good actor. He managed to emote tons of emotion in head to toe armor & having his entire face obscured. His emotions with only body language and movement is freaking AWSOME.
After wonder woman 84, I agree 👍
I think IF there was any drama on set it was related to his back problems. I don't think he's the vain type of actor that's concerned about facetime, though we probably will see more. I think it's more likely the weight of the costume got to him and he left the set. The pulse rifle might have been destroyed for that reason, he barely even carried it in season 2.
Pedro além de ótimo ator é lindo😍❤
Pedro Pascal was an A+ cast for Mando.
S+ lol
THIS IS THE WAY
@waldo AR and in the sequel to kingsman.
Seeing Lucas literally cradling a Disney-era creation, while also sharing a laugh with the live-action version of a cartoon character he created over 12 years ago, brings warm feelings to my heart. It's a great time to be a Star Wars fan.
watching rodriguez choreo his episodes' animatic w/his sons + action figures, TOTALLY explains why he is now an EP for the book of boba. I believe he even said (and i may be paraphrasing), "i've finally found my people". Pure gold, SW restored.
"These are my people!"
Yeah that was great
Kid shooting a Blade Runner gun as well
best guy to handle that series. my excitement grew after seeing what a Boba nerd he is.
I said the same exact thing
I believe he is directing all 4 episodes of the mini series too.
Honestly, outside of the season finale, Rodriguez's episode was my favorite.
Really enjoy Alita too.
I honestly can't wait to see what he does with a full Boba Fett mini series.
i love the excitement on Dave's face when he sees one of his favorite characters in live action for the first time
Mando: the empire still hunts him. He needs your help
Ahsoka: meh, try elsewhere I'm just a shoein for my spin-off series, bye

@@dougwilliams7132 Q, i guess....
There’s something very exciting seeing your vision come to life. With the short film I just made, it was actually so exciting seeing all my cast mates in their badass costumes. I was legit about to tear up due to how excited I was. Took me months to build the costumes (since I’m broke lol), so seeing the final product for the first time is so exciting.
@@GhostStealth590 Congratulations!
3:03 Don't you ever dare talking about George Lucas dying again. He's achieved immortality through the force and that's the only truth I'll ever accept.
You know how many death sticks and moon juice George has put down. He's becoming a force ghost any day now

"Not a frame they don't look at intently..." So quickly we have forgotten the great blue jeans guy of S02E04.
Blue jeans guy confirmed intentional
There was a maklunkey in the Boba Fett scene after the credits of the finale.
I remember I saw that and I went :o “he just said it”
It’s said in the phantom menace too.
Yea Bib Fortuna says it
I love how they made a Mandalorian the father of a Jedi!
You can't get more of a "dad" moment then Din and Grogu playing catch...
Yesssss
Robert Rodriguez and his kids making a backyard movie with action figures really showed this is what these guys do. They play around with their SW figurines.
WE should appreciate we have not only talent on the show, but true fans of the story making it.
We should count ourselves lucky that George Lucas and Jon Faveru have saved starwars
Not yet. One thing remains. Sequels. We MUST kill the sequels. Only then can Star Wars be saved.
Yeh..i guess thank george...but it was him who began this fuckery by not taking his own work seriously. Not respecting the fans to begin with.
All of the sequels have made money. ALL. OF. THEM. It gives me great pleasure in knowing that when Kathleen Kennedy was announcing the new shows and films, toxic fans like you were seething in rage because she stills heads Lucasfilm, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
And Dave Filoni! What a trifecta!
is that a purposeful slight to not mention filoni?
Imagine if the mandalorian had the budget of the awful disney sequels. We would see truly wonders
Just as well they didn't. More money spawns more investors and more bureaucracy. The more money you invest in a project with a franchise as big as Disney, the less creative freedom you're granted, because with that much money, the franchise wants to make sure that it'll make a profit, let alone break even, and they wanna satisfy investors, so they'll often limit the creativity and risk taking of the writers and directors in order to produce a safe film that definitely won't be ground-breaking, but also won't definitely plummit.
Mando is carrying disney plus for over 18 watchers. Hopefully they cashed out on the merch this year.
Lucas is on set and available for consultation. That makes me smile. I am sure being needed is healing him. He was taken for one hell of a ride emotionally.
It's not like he has anything better to do
6:30 this is EXACTLY what KK didn't understand. Sure JJ and RJ are big directors, but they aren't Star Wars people. The passion is so important. For JJ and RJ these were just another big blockbuster to be shot out and moved on from.
Lucas needs to start having Stan Lee style cameos in all of these new projects.
Or a godlike character inside the universe
In the very first mando episode he makes a cameo as one of mando’s bounties that are frozen in carbonite. It’s one of those “blink and you’ll miss it “ moments.
@@gabe7890 i tried to find stills of this to no avail.
but Dave is just the most sincere and passionate guy, what an incredible passion project that saved us all!
God bless Dave filoni
This show is literally bunch of fans playing their action figures in backyard then filmed that to us 😂
This is the way.
Merry Christmas everyone and Maklunkey
Merry maklunkey
Dank Farrik much, you too
Many shows I watch barely grab my parents attention but the mandalorian has been the first one in years that they said they wanted to watch! I only wish Luke's face could have been done a bit better but overall it has been amazing and damn near perfect!
F A X
I'm guilty too! My generation was during Episodes 4, 5, and 6. But, The Mandalorian reinvigorated my interest.
My favorite parts of this gallery were when Jon and Dave were joking around about Din saying Maclunkey and 'spinning is a good trick' and Grogu vibing with Rodriguez
So, what part of Luke's X-wing will baby yoda steal? And will R2-D2 get upset with this switch and button flipping habit?
They should have had Grogu take that little control knob from Din. He could have used it as the weighted base of his lightsaber.
@@bob_the_barbarian Are you sure they didn't? We didn't even see Mando pick up Baby Yoda, nor the long walk between the brig and the bridge. Wile I don't know if they forgot it in this episode I have no doubt he will have it later.
@@BloodBrothersInc1 last we saw it was when Din picked it up out of the wreckage of his ship and put it in his pocket... Grogu might have it, but it didn't show him getting it.
@@bob_the_barbarian I disagree. That little knob is going to a focal point in Season 3 for Mando. He's a stoic kind of guy and he'll likely have his helmet again through much of Season 3 so the directors are going to convey his thinking/worrying about Grogu by his pulling out and playing with that knob. He'll end up treasuring it and it will convey his missing his son, until he can be reunited with him.
Luke's going give him his targeting computer: "here, play with this."
It is nice to see Pedro looking happy. Yes I do think this helps people like me who was worried about the rumors. I do believe people get upset or have bad days so that could why get left. I do think people should place the blame on this crap with the person from the production who spoiled the information not the person who reports it
?
@@rydekk-4644 Don't worry about it, some 'reporter' who isn't an actual journalist and has been discredited multiple times at this point says Pedro is a big meanie butt head who doesn't like playing mando and throws tantrums about it.

5:39 Temuera Morrison whith a cowboy hat, i've seen everything.
Tem is an absolute nutcase. From breaking out the Haka to an impromteau, tone-deaf ballad on guitar this man is clearly a man who enjoys his work.
3:48 I want my own dark trooper full body suit!!!!
I was genuinely surprised those were suits with CGI necks and hands. Those actors did the stiff robotic movements really convincingly. But I swear Favareaux just has these practical effects done so he can see them in real-life for the fun of it.
Or a lego figure
I think Dave was just absolutely ecstatic to see his Ahsock Tano character be brought to life so beautifully!
Dear god, George Lucas is only 74! He’s got at least a good 20 years left in him!!
Has anyone seen the Auralnauts “fix” of the Believer? Din tells Bill Burr that he should’ve said McClunky when he took the shot. “It would’ve been cooler.”

How can you be on the council and not be a master
*It’s Insulting...*
It’s unfair!!
What I love about this show is like with the prequels, the Jedi all had their own style of figting. Here we see different Mandalorians all having their different fighting styles depending on where they come from. Bo-Katan and Koska had this military discipline and coordination, Din Djarin has this lone wolf one man army fighting style and Boba has this brutal, "I'm the boss" style.
Wasn't mentioned but Bib Fortuna actually says maclunkey in the post-credits, or sounds like he did.
I wish they showed how they made a young Mark Hamill behind the scenes.
I was surprised they didn't even mention anything about Luke.
It’s called deep fake
@@magnusthered4973 It's not deepfake. It's a CGI face. Similar to how Tarkin was made. Would have loved to see how they did it along with how Mark got his voice to sound young.
@@thesexyskywalker3283 yeah those were all deep fakes, deep fakes are cgi
@@magnusthered4973 Deepfakes and CGI are not the same thing. Deepfakes are machine learning algorithms created from source material while CGI is computer generated animations. Deepfake tech is commonly available to the public but due to licensing issues it's most likely not in use by Lucasfilm, no matter how "good" or "real" they look. Lucasfilm and ILM have their own in-house tech that they used for Mando and Rise of Skywalker too. Give it some time and they might actually use deepfakes in the future. Always do your research before spewing nonsense online, okay?
I got a baby grogu animatronic for Christmas from my mom and seeing this just takes the cake. I hope they do something with that scene of the head bouncing to music in the future. I also love the fact that Mando is now Daddy Mando. THIS. IS. THE. WAY.
I think they made Luke look like that and not perfect because in this scene he looks a little like Hammil and a little like Sebastian Stan.
People need to cool it about the Luke CGI. It doesn't look that bad. It's incredibly hard without 3D modeling of the human being in the real world to get 100% accurate representation CGI. I get its not exact but I for one thought it was really nice touch and it looks very convincing. Y'all got to realize this is been a few years since the empire fell in episode 6 so he isn't that fresh face young boy on Tatooine anymore it was a close enough match that my brain just figured it was him filling out a bit more as he grew a bit over the years.
He has been through a lot...stuff that ages one more than we can know.
Nah man, it looked bad. It doesn’t in any way ruin the episode but that was not well done.
@@NoahMcleany $$$$$$$ it's a tv show not a couple of hundred million motion picture. Yeah it's not great but I will take this Luke over the luke in the sequal's.
@@thehopperhopes6365
Theres a bunch of people here on youtube who do deepfakes very convincingly, I doubt they'd charge millions.
The biggest problem with Luke here was the stillness of the eyes, revealing that his face is in fact 2d instead of giving a 3d illusion.
I wish my dad wanted to do cool stuff like making mini movies in the back yard

Morrison looks cut in his interview, looks like he’s had a new lease of life with the announcement of his own boba series
Dave is literally just a fan of star wars I love to see it
Dave Filoni is the chosen one
I’m so exited for season 3 even though it’s not coming out for so long
I am totally with you on #10, by far the most anticipated character reveal and epic master fight destroying all that opposed him and no mention at all. Other than that I do truly believe that Filoni and Favreau have saved what Disney has done with Star Wars
Netflix just released its' version of Mando..."News of the World" w Tom Hanks as Mando, Helena Zengel as Grogu, set in post-Civil War Texas. Nice.
Star Wars fans love the guys behind the mask as much as those unmasked characters. Case in point Dave Prowse. Just because fans can’t see you doesn’t mean an actor can’t leave an impression.
The Mandalorian will go down in history like many other great shows before it.
In some interview they mentioned that scenes with Luke were shot with absolute minimum of people present on set. It was to prevent any leaks and I'm seriously happy it worked. But that means there won't be any footage of it to show on the gallery. Seeing that s01 disney gallery had this whole talk by the table and the total time changed - I'm guessing there won't be another one. Sadly.
I'm so used to thinking of baby Yoda as a real creature I didn't think about him moving around to the guitar..it just seemed natural
Who else was absolutely furious when the Luke scene was skipped over? I wanted to see how Mark Hamill and Dave brought young Luke to life in that scene.
Same but I think not having too many people around for the Luke scene is what helped them keep it a secret for over a year.
This could be it's own episode itself
Every single person there, George Lucas included, was Nergasming so hard that it should've destroyed the planet.
Jon and Dave made Star Wars fun for *GEORGE* again. The man who threw in the towel and sold it to Disney. We all owe them a debt of gratitude.
"that's a greedo thing"
Then Bib Fortuna says it, lol.
Great video! Keep up the good work
This show is beyond good. Goes to show what good writing & direction can do when all people involved are on the same page
I love that scene were John told Dave he wants Mando to say Maclunkey! I laughed so hard 😂😂
grogu talking to other jedi
"And then my dad picked me up and pulled off his face and under it was another face and I was like whaaaat"
People aren’t really talking about it in this comment section. But I am done with people complaining about the CGI Luke Skywalker we have to remember that more than 50% of the viewers of Mandalorian might not know the backstory.Even though we saw the Green sabre and the glove. if Sebastian showed up and revealed himself probably most people wouldn’t of clued in it’s Luke! Now people who turn in and see “baby Yoda” and the Jedi master with him being played by Sebastian it will make sense
Agreed...this was a quick cameo & we knew exactly who it was once the face was revealed (well, when the CCTV cut from B/W to color & we saw the green....) No, I wouldn't want to see 35-40 minute episodes with this technology but I wouldn't expect them to spend $$$$ for 5 minutes of face time. We don't know everything....studio could still be negotiating with Sebastian for future appearances

"Mearly being on set allows me to absorb the life energy of those around me" -George Lucas
Mandalorian season 2 was awesome!😮😀😁
I like how they still got their "Maclunkey" in with the Bib Fortuna scene.
Pedro pascal reminds me of Charles Bronson with that mustache.
If Robert had that much fun with chapter 14 and made a kickass fan film about it, i know damn well he's gonna make the best Boba Fett show ever.
I loved all Star Wars- it’s apart of Americana and it’s the best part about US. We all geek out! I appreciate the time and effort that goes into this world. We lost so much recently.
I swear I heard maklunkey when Boba shot the guard coming down the steps into Jabbas palace during the finale end credits scene.
Me too, I think Bib Fortuna said it :D
Maklunkey means something about killing anyway, so it isn't impossible.
That episode was super artistic
The fact that, that pathetic RUclipsr desperately tried to disparage Pedro Pascal as Mando (in order to prop up her channel) is utterly disgusting. Great to see Pascal having so much fun!
Force Information
Imagine being the most popular thing in all of media right now and then being mad about it. whoever reported that doesn't deserve to be called a reporter.
Dave Feloni's Star Wars projects all seem to be well handled. It expands the universe while respecting what was already established. The reason I'm mentioning this is because of the "maclunkey" anecdote mentioning in this video. It is such a good thing that someone was there to say "It's super funny, but No, let's not do that." Can you imagine how great the prequels would have been? And as far as the sequels are concerned.........well, giving the whole trilogy to Abrams would have been a good idea...developing Finn's character adequately instead of reducing him to a far more unidimensional character quite possibly because that's what worked better with the Chinese? (Idk, but the force awakens poster sure makes it look that way.)
They did say how they did it in another interview, JV said it was a stand in and a face swap.
Jon “so anyways, Mando should say maclunkey”
Dave “how about no”
Jon “let’s have Cara say maclunkey when she rams the stormtroopers”
Dave “no”
Jon “When Luke crushes the dark trooper he says maclunkey”
Dave “Stop it”
Wonder why they added Maclunkey to Star Wars in 2019 ?
Well, from us 3:55 who watched his movies, SWC...he is also a composer in his films.
Thanks for the great videos!
I'd like to see an episode of The Mandalorian directed by Lucas at some point.
They should make a huge Mandalorian and cast Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to play him,I think that would be cool!
George having a kid late in life helps too lol
The spear-play at the climax showdown and Boba stoicness at the end stole me.
I was a bit disappointed they didn't cover any of the behind the scenes moments from THAT reveal in the final episode.
I was hoping for that too.
John and Dave are meme lords
The hidden detail is that Mando uses suspenders under his beskar. I think that's neat-o
Good hook for tomorrow. Great video
"Playing his guitar in n a latino kind of way " he was playing a blues riff, tbh sounded a hit like smoke on the water 😂😂😂 I loved the video btw
I was saying the same. It was hell of a part of season 2 the appearance of Luke and they focused on every bit except that one. Really sad. It was a grate watch with nice details just that was really missing
I'm waiting for the Mando episode in homage to Jon's 1st big hit Swingers: Din, depressed about separated from Grogu, cruise the night life of Mos Eisley with the Marshal Cobb, Migs Mayfeld & 1 or two Tuskans. Drunken highjinks, romantic misunderstandings and a Speeder convoy at night.
I’ve never seen Dave without his cowboy hat
I wanna see flashbacks with Daniel Logan in Book of Boba Fett... maybe cross-over with Donald Glover as Lando while they’re at it...
