  • Tallulah Bankhead (1902-1968), supposedly the inspiration for Disney's Cruella de Vil, addresses her vices in her 1952 autobiography Tallulah. Admitting her own personal code for drinking, Tallulah also dives into her experiences with cocaine, heroin, marijuana and opium. She also recalls her potential romance with John "Jack" Barrymore after spotting him at the Algonquin Hotel one night in 1919/1920. Enjoy this look at the life of #Alabama born beauty Tallulah Bankhead.

Aloha Liz! Yes her eyes actually remind me of death. Part of the reason I wanted to make these videos is because she photographs so well! Thank you.

She could have been one of the greatest writers ever! I think that may have been her true calling. She certainly had a way with words.

Tallulah Beankhead another ambiguous actress. Her filmography is not thick. I only remember her in a few movies like Lifeboat (Hitchcock) and Royal scandal of Lubitsch. I think she prefered more stages

Yes, she was primarily a stage actress in London during her life.
