During the Second World War, the Amber Room was captured by the Wehrmacht in 1941 and then installed in Königsberg Castle, East Prussia, today Kaliningrad. When the Red Army advanced, it was removed in 1944 by the German Army and has been lost ever since. BTW: the "ruby" on top of the czars crown is a spinell 😊
