There is a reputable insider in the gaming industry that has stated that some of the core members of Team Silent are getting back together to make a brand new Silent Hill game exclusive for the PS5 and will be announced within the next few months. Members of Team Silent include the original creator Keiichiro Toyama along with Masahiro Ito AND Akira Yamaoka. This is really fucking exciting.

The date of the reveal likely changed since we are in a global pandemic right now, a lot of plans from Sony and MS have had to be changed on short noticed. All the insiders have reputable reputations and I believe wholeheartedly.
