Thank you! A bit late spotting this video. Love The Scientists. It was a great time for garage/surf/rocknroll from the Antipodes, although our US cousins The Cramps were head and shoulders above everyone else.
Me and my pals saw these guys so often back in the day. Like my band, either behind the times or ahead... You never know when you're doing what you love, much less care...
No it's taken from an obscure official released called "Live and independent at bay 63" with Stump, Larks, ghost Dance, June Brides etc. if you have this on a VHS tape which is mostly aussie bands, then it probably originated from me, bands on the tape might be Hoodoo gurus, Scientists, bamboos, New Christs, Radio Birdman and many more...

You were lucky to have seen them back in the day, thanks for commenting
What is the name of your band?
This song is where my second son, Travis, got his name from
Thanks for watching and commenting, you are the first to do so in over a year. I hope Travis has as god musical taste as you.
the tape you took it from.. did it have other stuff like the celibate rifles etc... i have an aussie comp with this and more...

wait....who's on bass & drums? Boris & Brett were gone by then as i recall....
Leanne's on drums....no clue who the bassist is, though.
I think the bassist was Robert Coyne from Silver Chapter.
@@kerrywhite9071 Joe Presedo of Silver Chapter? [wiki]
@@bwm_72 Yes, you are right. Had another proper look and it is Joe. Really nice guy. Thanks for the heads up.
I saw them late ‘86 supporting JAMC and Kim was playing bass & they were down to a 3 piece.
Kim Salmon - The MOST Underrated Musician in Australia.
Yeah, should be a name every music fan knows
Agreed, 100%.
Loved the Surrealists in the 90's, was lucky enough to catch the reformed Scientists ~ GREAT Artist ~
