- RUclips star Stevie Ryan died on Saturday, July 1, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. Her death was ruled a suicide by hanging. She was 33.

To those who say that they "Have no sympathy for those who kill themselves" or that "People who commit suicide are pathetic and selfish" you must have never been in a place where you absolutely can't stand your own life. When you are in that low of a mental state and you contemplate suicide you don't think that you're being selfish. In fact many people who commit suicide even believe that by doing so they are making many peoples lives better. Please don't be ignorant of others emotions and take time to look at things through other peoples eyes before you speak out against them. The fact that you call someone who took their own life pathetic means that you yourself are on no higher of a pedestal than you believe them to be.

When Robin Williams killed himself I recall there was a lot more compassion. It doesn't matter how famous she was. Like him, she loved to make people laugh. Like him, she struggled with depression.

All she did was commit suicide and now she's deserving of his recognition. That's not how the world works. If someone is well known and they die or something happens to them all of a sudden, it's just going to be reported on. That's how the media works. It'd be impossible to report on every single person's death and it wouldn't do much since not every person in the world knows everyone. The very least somebody can do is acknowledge this as an unfortunate event and show some respect for the dead, regardless of who they are, cause they are at the very least owed that much. The people in this comment section don't seem to get that tho.
