My parents crapped on every dream I ever had and it killed my self esteem so I never pursued them. I hope she sticks with this!
as a person who love bugs, but dont like to touch them, i dont see nothinh wrong with her love of cockroaches. they arent as bad as we thought about them, almost the 1% of living roaches have bussines with humans, and a lot of them polonizate (idk the english word, but they do the same job as the bees) and are very helpful. i think she is going to be a great enthomologist, or atleast she is going to have a great hobby. im really glad that her parents accept her and let her be.
I remember as a kid watching this. Years later, after getting my first Madagascar hissing cockroach, I understand. They’re easy to care for pets and are genuinely so interesting to observe and interact with.
I totally support this girl. She's so intelligent and knows stuff about her specific interest. But i wish her parents would help her more, especially with caging. I'm not expert on keeping roaches, but their terrarium seems too crowded (correct me if I'm wrong)
Roaches actually r fine to keep like that they arent complex enough to get super distressed as long as their basic needs r met. She should sell them as feeders tho bc she would make bank
Yeah, I think the terrariums are too crowded and it would be nice if she made them more natural with dried leaves and cork bark, not some stoopid egg cartons
I love how supportive both parents are, despite them not being huge fans of the cockroaches. Like, if I had been wanting to keep cockroaches as a kid, my mom would’ve said, “Oh hell no, not in my house!” But these parents are willing to tolerate them because they love their daughter and want her to be happy. A+ parenting!👍
No thats the definition of failing as a parent. You support you child but in the right things. Dont let you kid get, or have, or do what ever they want. D=
I think it's nice that her parents are being supportive, but I feel like thousands is a bit overkill lmao. I've never seen a roach so I can't relate to the general fear.
This freaked me out so bad. But it’s also extremely amazing to see children learn so much about something, and stick with that passion, and teach others about whatever it is they’re so passionate about. Not to mention it helps show that we share this planet with a lot of other creatures, and how important they are. Roaches actually do have a purpose believe it or not.
Madagascar hissing cockroaches are kind of cool in a creepy curious way, but I would NEVER allow a child to keep roaches as pets. ONE is bad enough, but over a thousand, and you willingly keep them in your home? NO.
I’m curious if the dog yelps when they start hissing and I was thinking about if they had a break in and people were stealing electronic stuff like TVs video games and laptops if they started hissing got out that they would run right back out of the house leaving the other items on the floor and run out the door and then go to the police station and then turn themselves in for breaking and entering then beg for a hose down with bug pesticides and then a shower roaches would be in everything they have inside the house clothes shoes electronics I might sound stupid or weird for wondering what if they had a burglar but maybe others are curious about it too
I have a bearded dragon who eats roaches all the time. At first I was so grossed out by them, but after having them for a while I realized they are extremely docile creatures that are absolutely harmless! I don’t know why people are so afraid of them.
This is the sweetest and most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen on TLC in the last few years. Bless this little girl, her friends, family, and her sweet roaches. The fashion show was so precious I cried. Kids are so pure.

the thing I mostly love is that her friends were so supportive.
she is the true definition of the neighbors kid
AHAHAHAHAHA
Please tell me she didn't say she went outside every once in a while to look at a gravestone for a roach.

They all would be in a massive grave outside if I lived there

love and light.
As someone who is deathly afraid of cockroaches this is an absolute nightmare.
How cute is she? She is already so passionate and found something she likes so much. I love how supportive her parents are of it even if they don't understand it. She is such a lucky girl. My parents crapped on every dream I ever had and it killed my self esteem so I never pursued them. I hope she sticks with this!
I’m so sory
COCKROACHES ARE DISGUSTING
THIS GIRL IS CRAZY
i love how supportive her parents are
Yes, let's support bad parenting
Too supportive
LMAO THE LITTLE BOY QUESTIONING HIS LIFE DECISIONS 5:50
The most supportive parents I've ever seen 😇 and one smart, kind and empathetic little girl
ong
I feel the same way but with ants,The fact that she knows how to take care of them at such a young age is outstanding. She is truly and amazing kid.
Cockroaches are very intelligent and have some human like attitude ... really funny... but thousands in the bedroom ... a little bit too much
Exactly.
“She shot a cannon, and the female survived just fine 😃”
*that roach was probably traumatized for life*
as a person who love bugs, but dont like to touch them, i dont see nothinh wrong with her love of cockroaches. they arent as bad as we thought about them, almost the 1% of living roaches have bussines with humans, and a lot of them polonizate (idk the english word, but they do the same job as the bees) and are very helpful. i think she is going to be a great enthomologist, or atleast she is going to have a great hobby. im really glad that her parents accept her and let her be.
I don’t understand why people are afraid of them. They seem pretty harmless and scared.
OKAY BUT THE FLYING ROACH HAD ME ON THE FLOOR
Imagine if she named all the roaches 😮
Yoo imagine
Loll and she could remember all of them
it would be impossible to distinguish between each individual one fool

I remember as a kid watching this. Years later, after getting my first Madagascar hissing cockroach, I understand. They’re easy to care for pets and are genuinely so interesting to observe and interact with.
I totally support this girl. She's so intelligent and knows stuff about her specific interest. But i wish her parents would help her more, especially with caging. I'm not expert on keeping roaches, but their terrarium seems too crowded (correct me if I'm wrong)
Wtf I feel like her parents are already doing enough with just the fact that they accept it even though you can clearly see they hate it
Yeah! She's so beautiful, and smart!
Should prolly limit the amount of roaches she could have. I think that’s a lil too much

I love how supportive both parents are, despite them not being huge fans of the cockroaches. Like, if I had been wanting to keep cockroaches as a kid, my mom would’ve said, “Oh hell no, not in my house!”
But these parents are willing to tolerate them because they love their daughter and want her to be happy. A+ parenting!👍
ur the type of mofo who thinks spanking is child abuse F- parenting
Failed parenting
No thats the definition of failing as a parent. You support you child but in the right things. Dont let you kid get, or have, or do what ever they want. D=
That’s not supportive parents they’ve given up a proper parent would never let a kid do that.
Literally setting your kid up for bullying and embarrassment.
Even the dog was like wtf lol. That fashion show was funny I like how creative the kids are and they got some talent it's just weird with roaches.
I’ll never roll through this type of energy into my mom’s house
I actually collect stray and homeless dogs. I wash, feed them and i love them
I think this is adorable. What a smart young lady! I hope she keeps and grows her passion through her whole life
As creepy as it is, this girl is incredible and will go very far in life. She’s brilliant
I think it's nice that her parents are being supportive, but I feel like thousands is a bit overkill lmao. I've never seen a roach so I can't relate to the general fear.
There were 3 in my bathroom
This week alone D: it’s disgusting!!! One was short and fat the other was long and brown with wings. 🤮
@@TheMakeupMavenn I live in Germany, and we don't really have them, but I feel for you :D
@@loreendi39 at night sometimes in my garage I’m getting a snack and some fat roaches on the floor I literally scream and run inside
Consider yourself lucky to have not had any problems with them
@@loreendi39 bruh lucky.
There's nothing amazing about collecting cockroaches u weirdo
These are the best parents alive. No way in hell would I allow my kid to do this.
No, they're not. I would understand two roaches....but this many?
the best friend is so wholesome
Madagascar hissing cockroaches are kind of cool in a creepy curious way, but I would NEVER allow a child to keep roaches as pets. ONE is bad enough, but over a thousand, and you willingly keep them in your home? NO.
I’m curious if the dog yelps when they start hissing and I was thinking about if they had a break in and people were stealing electronic stuff like TVs video games and laptops if they started hissing got out that they would run right back out of the house leaving the other items on the floor and run out the door and then go to the police station and then turn themselves in for breaking and entering then beg for a hose down with bug pesticides and then a shower roaches would be in everything they have inside the house clothes shoes electronics I might sound stupid or weird for wondering what if they had a burglar but maybe others are curious about it too
I agree ☝️ my previous apartment was infested with roaches 🪳 it was disgusting 🤮
The TLC crew were deff infested with roaches after this encounter....
Lmao
My anxiety watching this 📈📉
Her BFF shining the light at the fashion show 🥺🥺🥺❤️
Wow, what a talented little girl that is trying to break the bad stereotypes roaches have with her circus. Good for her, she is so interesting ☺️
I have a bearded dragon who eats roaches all the time. At first I was so grossed out by them, but after having them for a while I realized they are extremely docile creatures that are absolutely harmless! I don’t know why people are so afraid of them.
🤣🤣🤣 my friend does as well . She talks to the roachs now 😩😩”ok friend you will go die now and get in her belly” 🤣🤣
cause some people have different opinions on things not everyone like insects and bugs
It’s because they’re soooooo ugly. I have a horrible phobia of them. I think it’s because of how they look.
Probably due to ignorance, just like how you were before you started keeping them as feeders. People fear what they don't understand.
I think it’s because they’re so closely associated with disease and uncleanliness.
“The roach gospel.” LOL
This is the sweetest and most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen on TLC in the last few years. Bless this little girl, her friends, family, and her sweet roaches.
The fashion show was so precious I cried. Kids are so pure.
