I think the first theory of Hidan being born or blessed with an unexplained ability caused him to create a God in his own mind to explain why he has his healing, immortality ability. And why no one else besides the young man in the Boruto series truly believes in Lord Jashin BUT he technically was following Hidan since Hidan is the only other confirmed follower of Lord Jashin.
You see, the guy from the Boruto LN whose name I totally didn't forget didn't get immortality because Jashin is not Jashinism's God anymore; Shikamaru is. Dude was praising the wrong God.
Since there are higher dimension in Naruto (as in what Shibai ascended to) and an actual afterlife and such, it makes sense that the Shinigami exists and other beings might be actual gods like Jashin is thought to be.
When Hidan found the Chinoike clan, it is possible that he met an Uchiha in the area keeping an eye on the clan. Then again, the Uchiha might have placed some under a Genjutsu making them turn on the clan. If Hidan found something like this out, he would have worshiped that Uchiha like a god.
What if Hidan has such a massive chakra reserve that every part of him has enough chakra to keep all of him alive. That the reserve is so huge that everyone just ignores it (like trying to see Deaths soul in Soul Eater, if you're too close then you can't see it) and he has little to no skill with chakra like Rock Lee. Since he never learned anything involving chakra and assuming he has little to no skill in chakra weaving then, if his chakra is so inlayed in his body that each part makes enough to never die, he'd never know he has any chakra at all.
Oh, I like my idea! What if, like most religions, Jashinism doesn’t actually do or mean anything. Hidan just believes in it. But by practicing it he inadvertently is tapping into jutsu that deals with the shikigami. What if what’s going on is that hes somehow unlocked a simple sage mode and he’s unknowingly entered into a semi summoning contract with a shikigami and his whole technique is a combo jutsu with a shikigami. Think about it, what do you need to summon a contract animal…. Blood. Other than a karma symbol what gives you body markings- sage mode. He’s a death sage people! Lol
On the note of Hidan having a white karma marking and lord Joshine being Ottsutski what if Lord Joshine is Shibai and when he shed his body and moved on he had given a karma marking to Hidan which either then turned white or was from the start. That way his body could be Shibai's "body" and that would make Hidan Ottsutski technically? Lot of variables to explore with that line of thought
What if it’s a kekegenki similar to 100 heals - but instead of having him stock his own he take the “life” chakra from he people he kills. Think of it as sage mode pulling in the chakra in when he kills someone and stored like 100 healings His markings look evil/dark version of 100 healing - black skin with very white lines and with a centre on his forehead. Obviously head cannon but to me makes the most sense haha
I figure if kaguya could create a black zestu then why would she be the only one to ever do it she had to find out that it was a possibility somehow , black zestu is a parasitic being so what’s to say he didn’t come from an uchiha Before and when hidan was merged with it that he just continued to live the way a uchiha would without knowing their actual culture so filling in the blanks himself .
16:05 Just a slght correction if you dont mind but you dont have to kill your sibling to unlock the EMS, they can donate to you if they want and fight with some other "spare" Sharingan.
the similarities nick points out: uchihas gotta kill each other for cool eyes hidan gotta kill people for cool body uchihas got that 3-fold rotational symmetry what's more 3-fold symmetrical than a triangle? using izanagi is like creation of all things and sacrificing people is like sacrificing a sharingan? yeah, the theory makes less sense than most of his other crackpot theories
hey NC, i think i know anothor theory, since jashin also does his so to say "rituals" they could also potentially be a jutzu that stores up soles, so for example in the fight between asuma and jashin he cut his neck, but it actually wasnt his neck, it was someone elses neck , which means asuma killed someone else which means he was sackrificeing a soul. And how he activates his jutzu, if you look closely his pendant fales of jis neck which activates it. but also he can mix in someone elses blood with his in to this pendant or on the ground where he draws it. it is pretty similar to kagisaki's cursed techique from jjk.
when I first watched Naruto. I always thought the sharingan was just the copy wheel eye. that the other odd functions were other dou jutsu that were like put into it, kind of absorbed by it. that's why they were so random. it was my own little head cannon, because of all the extra bs abilities it has with it. I liked the sharingan being just the copy eye. because of that filler with the other red eye dou jutsu with amazing genjutsu. I was like oh is that why the sharingan is red and also has genjutsu. that they were collecting other dou justu to make 1 super one and that was were sharingan and byakugan came from. it is just that the sharingan is pretty random with the power it has. it can copy jutsu, it can hypnotize people, it can form a chakra mech and also spawn a random bs power tailored to your own desire... random as shit. but if each of those powers comes from different dou jutsu,. from different clans that were focused on those things then its perfect. then I can say that maybe that red eye dou jutsu, it was just its next level of power. kind of like the MS form for the sharingan. the MS for the pure red eye genjustu power was to make someone else kind of immortal. that they were bouncing this immortally around tell the end were it was just thrown into Hidan as away to just end their fighting among themselves. a kind of, well if i cant have it. then you cant ether. here random person as just a last f*** you. idk just ideas just thoughts.
Hidan's Immortality is not the cream of the crop, it's literally one of the worst and easiest to get around, he cant rematerialize or regenerate so cut or blow him to bits and you win. The only thing that makes it dangerous is his blood ritual and strength that allows him to fight tailed beasts. If you erase him with an attack or cut him up he's not dead but he wont be fighting anymore. Kakuzu and Orochimaru's Psuedo Immortalities allow them to live for multiple lifetimes while Hidan still ages. Orochimaru and Kakuzu aren't immortal when it comes to death but time is the most dangerous killer.
They have out a fan fiction story. About Naruto and Sasuke and in the story Sasuke is a good character they wrote his character pretty good in that fanfiction. You should check it out you will love his character and how portrayed. And I love you videos keep them up and they have more good Naruto stories on fanfiction.
My head cannon is that the prayer Hidan says in his head is very important to the ritual to where if it isn't done properly it isn't considered a sacrifice to Jashin. Also that the reason we don't see many people like Hidan is because people who are taught the practice are inclined to kill the person who taught them due to them growing a connection to each other, also the amount of luck needed to kill so many people without immediate retaliation
You missed out Indra and Rai in the list of MS users who don’t have 3 points. Could also make an argument for madara eternal (even though he does have the 3 circles for points) as he has the 3 black lines as points as well
There is actually a scene in the storm games where Hidan had just been kidnapped. They experimented on him and told him about the lord Jashin. All he remembers when he wakes up is what they told him. After he starts to realize his immortality
Ight so, I love the idea. Otsutsuki sounds plausible with the transformation and healing capabilities. Uchiha as well with the killing of your “neighbor”. But what about that clan from the hot spring village? They control blood, Hidan controls blood in a sense. So it might make some sense that he’s acquired something from them. Also his transformation design is almost similar to a susanoo right? Or at least closer to that than a karma transformation. So maybe that’s transformation is almost another form of susanoo?
maybe Hidan has an ancestry with both the hot springs clan and uchiha which gave him the ability of mixing mangekeyo (through sacrifice) with the blood control of the hot springs clan?
@@zackmurdock6051 exactly what I was thinking! I think it’d be reasonable that an uchiha would fall in love with a (can’t ever remember the name of the clan) member amongst war
Doesn't pass the sniff test to me. I don't for a second believe that the author gave it that much thought. If it was tied into the Uchiha it would have came up more often.
So the thing with keedon is that it doesn't really hyperspeed regenerate we know this because when his head is cut off he doesn't just regrow it or regrow his body he has to physically reattach it and from what we understood from the implications when his head is cut off it would take some time for it to just fully reattach itself permanently
I had the idea of Orochimaru further perfecting his curse seal to an extent that its indistinguishable from the karma mark of a long lost Otsutsuki, accidentally allowing said parasite to take Oro as their new vessel [perhaps slain by Shibi, his old rival] (please credit me because this is the only good theory I've had). This video reminded me of that idea. :)

You see, the guy from the Boruto LN whose name I totally didn't forget didn't get immortality because Jashin is not Jashinism's God anymore; Shikamaru is. Dude was praising the wrong God.
😴😴😴😴
Since there are higher dimension in Naruto (as in what Shibai ascended to) and an actual afterlife and such, it makes sense that the Shinigami exists and other beings might be actual gods like Jashin is thought to be.
I smell a bit of Tobirama scent from this title 😹😹🙆
When Hidan found the Chinoike clan, it is possible that he met an Uchiha in the area keeping an eye on the clan. Then again, the Uchiha might have placed some under a Genjutsu making them turn on the clan. If Hidan found something like this out, he would have worshiped that Uchiha like a god.
Chinoike clan isn't canon thought
maybe hidan just has really good yin yang chakra control, which would explain why he still needs to eat
Skip to 4:38 if you want to skip all the BS and get straight to the point
Lol
My favorite part of your vids recently is when lapdog comes on screen to get lovins. always makes me go "AWW LOOKAT DA BABYY" sweet dog
I think black Zetsu is lord J. Covers believer when blessing them.
Maybe Hidan was born with immortality and some Uchiha found him and put him under a genjutsu to kill that other clan?
Here for allllll lord jashin lore
Literally everyone who saw the Reaper....died. How and why would a Death God grant Life?
What if it’s a kekegenki similar to 100 heals - but instead of having him stock his own he take the “life” chakra from he people he kills.
Think of it as sage mode pulling in the chakra in when he kills someone and stored like 100 healings
His markings look evil/dark version of 100 healing - black skin with very white lines and with a centre on his forehead.
Obviously head cannon but to me makes the most sense haha
Jashin is one of the two missing Otsutsuki. Note that down.
Could Jashin be shibai’s “black zestu” ? Or his lower rank ? That could explain the black skin and fit well in conjunction with this theory .
Not bad, kind of like when obito wore white zetsu
Why do he have to had Black Zetsu and not karma?
Can we get an explanation for why orochamaru knew about hedan, and didnt make him a host body?
2-3 years and the host breaks down? LoL
Couldn’t two Uchia with MS just exchange eyes.
this theory is NC doggo approved
16:05 Just a slght correction if you dont mind but you dont have to kill your sibling to unlock the EMS, they can donate to you if they want and fight with some other "spare" Sharingan.
the similarities nick points out:
uchihas gotta kill each other for cool eyes
hidan gotta kill people for cool body
uchihas got that 3-fold rotational symmetry
what's more 3-fold symmetrical than a triangle?
using izanagi is like creation of all things and sacrificing people is like sacrificing a sharingan?
yeah, the theory makes less sense than most of his other crackpot theories
Our fav guy with glasses
hey NC, i think i know anothor theory, since jashin also does his so to say "rituals" they could also potentially be a jutzu that stores up soles, so for example in the fight between asuma and jashin he cut his neck, but it actually wasnt his neck, it was someone elses neck , which means asuma killed someone else which means he was sackrificeing a soul.
Thank you
Imagine jashin was an uchiha and created the blood transfer technique to use izanagi and izanami without ever sacrificing his own eye
I find it hilarious that nick always correctly points at the like and sub buttons but ALWAYS misses the noty bell
cant two family members to trade eyes and both get ems
Could also make an argument for madara eternal (even though he does have the 3 circles for points) as he has the 3 black lines as points as well
Imagine if Hidan licked Momoshiki's blood.
How come Orochimaru was in the akatsuki along with Hidan, and just never tried to replicate his emortality or steal it for himself?
He was gone when hidan came
@@jameshollister8294 well he still had a triple agent spy that would have known and told him (kabuto btw)
If Hashirama cells are great, imagine Hidan's cells.
There is actually a scene in the storm games where Hidan had just been kidnapped. They experimented on him and told him about the lord Jashin. All he remembers when he wakes up is what they told him. After he starts to realize his immortality
This could work
I mean ik it's not cannon but for me it makes more sense than most of the theory from this comment section
Head cannon
Let’s just agree hidan is a Ben 10 alien
Doesn't pass the sniff test to me. I don't for a second believe that the author gave it that much thought. If it was tied into the Uchiha it would have came up more often.
So the thing with keedon is that it doesn't really hyperspeed regenerate we know this because when his head is cut off he doesn't just regrow it or regrow his body he has to physically reattach it and from what we understood from the implications when his head is cut off it would take some time for it to just fully reattach itself permanently
What if Lord Jashin is the Rival of the Lord Osostuki and its actually Shinjutsu
What if lord jashin was a religious figure like jesus, and he didnt bestow immortality to anyone, instead him being a religious figure hidan believed in and when hidan realized he was immortal he just assumed it was lord jashin that gave him the immortality cause it was the god he worshipped.
That’s another cool video who has the best healing that comes natural to them
His seal is a triangle within a circle that he wears around his neck and draws under his feet
I love channel andd sure you are every handsome (coming form a guy) and I enjoy natuto explanations . However your puppy took over the channel 😂😂 . And I need to hear his opinion on lord and savior jashin
really who needs neighbors anyway lol
never even thought of this, just started the video and i'm always hyped to see his theorys, also Lord Jashin is Kishimoto
This really makes sense and I enjoyed it and hopefully we can get more answers in the future. Good job 👏👍
I mean, if it was tied to the uchiha, it'd make sense why they couldn't find any followers of it.
Awesome video fella! Your dog is a scene stealer tho lol
well, Sasori's almost a lich with his chest piece being the bit of him that keeps him together. Kakuzu is just funny to me because... oh you have multiple hearts? good for you, i'll just break your skull.
it's hilarious to me that Hidan's head can talk, yeah no lungs or vocal cords but he's loud as ever. he's defeated as a head, a hand with his Akatsuki ring, and 1 of his feet. i'd love to see him chew his way out and get his skull cracked over and over by one of the Nara clan's dear friends.
My theory is that lord jashin is an otsutsuki.Think about it the is one other otsutsuki next to shibai who we haven't seen yet
Are there potential other powerful alien clans other than the otsutsuki that they are competing with?
I remember watching the old video of this and it was actually so cool thinking about it while watching the show
Can we get a powerscaleing all the women in Naruto please
Maby he's a sage like the toad or white snake but he doesn't grant nature energy, he's granting immortality
Hindan's ritual just looks like shortcut sage mode that accesses unlimited healing.
