As a former teacher, I used to take my class on a "trip" at the end of the year. Destination... their new classroom/ grade. However, they had to take an "airplane" to get there, and in their passports were pics and things from the past year. This took me back. Thank you! Also, not sure if anyone else had an issue downloading your passport?
What a wonderful idea! What a great teacher you were ❣️ Ket me know if you need help with the download. Email me and I’ll send you the download link directly mellowmiller101@gmail.com
When I was 10 my father was stationed in the Philippines. I still have the passport we used. Ir has me, my brother, and my mom all on one passport. I think I am going to use it to make a scrapbook of our trip there and our trip home. Thank you for such a great tutorial and ideas!
I really like this idea. Passports imply travel or journey of any sort...this idea could be used in wonderfully imaginative ways. For example, a trip to the moon! Or a trip to a place named in books. Or a trip to a jungle, or unknown ecosystem. Or a trip through time to visit dinosaurs! What a wonderful idea.
This a great idea! I’ve been struggling to come up with a plan to document a trip my husband and I took shortly before he passed away. This is the perfect solution. Thank you so much!!
I love this idea. I have a couple expired passports that I can use. I think I will make one into my "dream trip." That it a great idea. Thank you for sharing. ❤
If you don't have old passports - some states offer passports for their state parks or some other tourist type thing. I have some for Rt 66 in Oklahoma and for the state parks in Oklahoma.
Morning Margarete, Firstly, THANK YOU for accepting me for the "new" channel. The passport challenge/project is going to be sooooo much FUN, FUN, FUN. I can't wait until it is time to go!!!! I have been watching some of your "older" videos, and BOY, have a learnt a lot, inspired and in awe of your collaging, it is just so well thought out and you know just what goes with what. I have started to do ALL the challenges: the Alphabet Roladex cards, the 50 prompts and of course, your usual and (the best of all) the Margarete Miller Challenge every week. I have become so engrossed in these challenges and am enjoying them sooooo much. Thank you for all the inspiration, your delivery of the instructions, so clear and presise, love, love, love your videos. All I can say is, MORE, MORE MORE. I sound like a crazy lady, I know. My husband is reading this over my shoulder and is just now saying, "She is going to think you are a stalker!!!!!" 🤫🤔 I really am NOT, but a HUGE fan 😁😁 Thank you, too, for the Passport Freebie, have also been rummaging around the house and have found a few expired passports of ours. So I think I am well stocked up and ready to go. Sending you many Blessings and hugs from Cape Town. Diana 🤗🐱🐱🦊🦊
Some how I missed this comment and am now seeing it while checking older comments. Thanks so so much for your kind comments, Diana. You are such a sweetheart 😘 I’m so glad you’re jumping into making the passport. You’re going to have so much fun with this ❣️👏🏼😉
Such a great idea to use old passports! We are going on a European river cruise Oct 2 and Bratislava is one of our day trips. Hoping the flooding eases up and all are safe!
Great video 👏😍 now i have learned how to make a teamed journal 🥰 and it sounds so fun with the around the world trip 👏 you are a genuine 🥰👏 i of course invite you to Arctic Norway 🥰 lots of love 🥰🌸🌼🍀
This is going to be so much fun!! We've been trying to get to Scotland for years, but health issues are always keeping us from going. My sister and her fella are going in a couple of weeks so I'm hoping to use some of their great pictures. Can't wait to do this project!
Love this project. I made faux passport wedding shower invitations for a friend many years ago. But passports have been on my mind lately. Thank you! 💙
I don't have a passport but am thinking of getting one. I do have some Field Notes booklets with dotted pages from the USPS which are about the same size. I bought the set intending to use them as mini journals or gluebooks, etc. Thank you for the inspiration to get me started!
Thank you, for the inspiration. I have passports of my deceased parents and two others all expired that I wondered what to do with. I think your live sounds like a lot of fun, however I would not be able to attend.
Oh, that must be so disappointing when the camera cuts out like that! Despite it being temperamental, it was a beautifully done video. I’m looking forward to the upcoming voyage! You mentioned making up sheets for the October November workshop. Will most of them depend on a colored printer? I still only have a black-and-white printer, but at least it’s not dot matrix. Slowly moving into the 21st century.
Hi Annie, The printables I'm putting together are color, but I did some test runs of printing in black and white, and those are definitely useful, too. 💜
Thank you for your videos. I’ve recently discovered this art form but am battling to narrow down what’s important to get started. I don’t have money for fancy stamps and inks and washi tape (at least not right off the bat). I know it’s easy to find paper objects really cheaply or free. Other than basic scissors and glue, what tools would you consider impossible or difficult to do this work without?
Glue and paper. That's all you need. Not even scissors unless you want to cut things precisely-- you can always tear. Look for art reuse centers in your area. You can find interesting things there for cheap. And scissors and glue are not expensive.
When I had to send in my passport to get a new one, it was supposedly going to be sent back to me. Never came back, and they seem to have lost it. I got the new one. But the one with all my stamps. They I lost.
Here's where to get your passport download, and link to the Bon Voyage party 🎉

I didn't have any problem downloading the passport.

Exactly! A trip. A journey... . The possibilities are endless
Can't wait for the live!!!
Great Vid…definitely inspiring me to create passports to capture my Egypt & Italy trips! Thanks for Passport printable.
Nice!! That sounds like a great project. You'll find some good travel books. I'm sure. 💙

Thank you! 😉❣️👍🏼

So true! I've seen some of these local passports to parks or museums. Good idea to look for those. Thanks! 💜
This is a great idea! I recently ordered several tourist packages for a few states and they had "passports" for some areas.
I've never had a passport but I'm very inspired by maps and travel photos. Thank you for your creative inspiration ❤
We must think alike. I’ve always wanted to go to Egypt. I’m addicted to “Lost Treasures of Egypt”. Looks like a fun project!
Then I hope you'll make one, too! 😉💜👍🏻

I also love the size of this little glue book. Thanks for sharing. Have a fabulous weekend. Sending big hugs. Sherry
I love this size, too, Sherry. It's such a comfortable size to collage in. 💜
Love this idea. Italy would be my travel theme. By the way, your hair is real cute that length.
Thank you so much! ❤️ There are lots of great travel books on Italy. So many great photos and images to choose from 👍🏼❣️😉
The pages are very beautiful!
Great idea to use a passport.
❤
Thank you! I had fun putting them together. I'm ready to make more! 😉💜👍🏻
Margarete: this is a fabulous idea. Just fabulous… Carol from California
Thank you, Carol! I’m so glad you like this idea! ❤️ it’s so fun once you start. You just want to keep on going 😉👍🏼🌟
I love it Margarete.
It’s like a projected treasure map of future.
You’re definitely going to that museum 😊😊❤️

How nice to have the opportunity to use some of your sister’s photos from Scotland. I hope they have a great time 🌟
Looking forward to this project Margarete. Thanks for putting it all together.
I’m so glad you’ll be on this “trip” with us, Lori! I’m excited about it! 😉
Oh gosh you just gave me an idea to use my old passports ❤🎉🎉🎉
Awesome! I'm so glad 😉💜👍🏻
Love this project. I made faux passport wedding shower invitations for a friend many years ago. But passports have been on my mind lately. Thank you! 💙
Thank you for your wonderful ideas, Margarete 😂Looking forward to the 28th
Wonderful! I’ll see you there 👏🏼❣️🌟
nice idea! I used some old pasports to make my family members pasports with their photos.
I don't have a passport but am thinking of getting one.
I do have some Field Notes
booklets with dotted pages from the USPS which are about the same size. I bought the set intending to use them as mini journals or gluebooks, etc. Thank you for the inspiration to get me started!
Field Notes notebooks are awesome! That's a great idea to use one of those. 💜
I love this idea 😊And travel live sounds fantastic ❤
Oh this is such a great idea! Love it!
Thanks so much! 😊
What a fun idea! ❤
LOVE this idea!
Thank you! 😊
I love this idea! Thank you for the freebie and the inspiration. Can't wait to see what's next.
So glad you are enjoying this idea. I hope to see you on Saturday! 💜
Great idea!!
Love your videos. I also love your hair! I might do that too.
Fun project-SHOCKED I didn’t see any postage stamps on the pages!❤
Ha! I still need to look through my stamps for Egypt. I know that I don’t have much. I may need to get some! 😉❣️👍🏼
Such a great idea. Love this!
Thanks! I hope you'll create one of your own 😉👍🏻💜
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it 💜
This was such a fun idea! TFS 😊
Really looking forward to this. Have an old passport ready.
In my country they take away the old passport to give you the new one. But the Idea is awesome, thank you!
Oh wow! I didn't think about that. Well, you can make a beautiful one, then 😉💜👍🏻
Thank you, for the inspiration. I have passports of my deceased parents and two others all expired that I wondered what to do with. I think your live sounds like a lot of fun, however I would not be able to attend.
I'm so glad you've got a new idea to think about. Maybe you can do something with them 💜
Thank you very much
You're welcome! Have fun with the idea 😉💜👍🏻
This sounds like a great idea for storytelling too. I might make a passport for an imaginary world.
I love that idea of an imaginary world. I did something similar for my Mars passport 👍🏻

I agree, this sounds like so much fun but I am not able to attend the party on the 28th. Is it being recorded?
Yes, there will be a recording. I’ll email it out after. 👍🏼

Love this idea, I am thinking of doing a safari or maybe Spain. Does the download come by email? I have used the link for the invite.
Sorry the edit button does seem to be working. Got my link for the download, thank you.
Super! I'm glad it worked 😉
Hobby Lobby is selling a Christmas ornament that is Santa's passport. I think it would work well. It's only $1.49.
Thanks for the suggestion! I don’t have a Hobby lobby close to me, but would love to see a picture. If you come across a link, please send it 😉👍🏼💜
I signed up after the Bon Voyage party. I can't find the pretend passport. Is it too late to get it?
You can still get the passport. It's here: margarete-miller.ck.page/f00b4203ad
As a member, can I just download from the site or should I sign up?
Let me add it to the clubhouse right now. Thanks for the reminder 👍🏻
@@MargareteMiller thank you. This looks like another fun project for us
Is this on Mighty?

Well that’s a huge bummer! I’d be pretty disappointed about that. 😟
How do I download the passport

Karen, are you not able to access it, or it doesn't print properly? Did you receive the email with the link to it?
