I was laid off on Thursday. Screw trucking. My boss tied me up two days without pay at the shop just to lay me off. I’m grumpy too, but happy to be out.
@@HaulingDonkey It was regional dry van, but I also have some experience in hopper bottom, livestock hauling, step deck, and gravel. Honestly, I was planning to switch to a local, seasonal job hauling fertilizer and do farrier work the rest of the year. As long as I can get unemployment benefits I should be fine until the seasonal job starts in late September or early October.
Ever notice that Prime and Schneider are the ones ruining the squeegee’s by washing their rigs with em instead of spending 80 bucks at the blue beacon? Keep on doing what you do bro 🤘🤘🤘
Hey Josh, just wanted to tell you homie. We all appreciate your videos (Prime Inc can fuck off). Keep up the great work brother.❤❤❤ you bring hilarity to this jacked up trucking industry, and just wanted to say thanks for the laugh boss. Please ignore the folks with negative comments.❤❤
I would love to watch Josh go run flatbed in the Southeast and have to tarp loads and rant about it🤣🤣🤣 Love the videos Josh, you never fail to make me laugh
@Austin.8150 i dont know you, and you dont me and are still trying to make fun of me.. Feel sorry for you. If i am not making anything less than $2500 a week, I won't be working in this industry. If I work 70 hours total in local walmart and homedepo, I can bring home $1700. I'm leasing with Prime Inc. for almost 7 years, and last week, I posted a shot video about how much I make minimum at Prime after all expenses.. if you want, you can check it . Or you can just keep making fun of me
Im (hopefully) starting schneider orientation on the 7th as my first job, ive heard they give the best training but theres only one way to find out. Im just excited to finally start using my CDL!
I'm 55 yrs old, coming off of a shoulder replacement, and my employer fired me. Have many years of class A experience, although not in the last two years and no one wants to hire me.Gotta love it.
Hi Josh!!! Don't worry, the trucks around you are all on their 30 and will be gone before you have to leave! Also, Prime is such a shit show that they are putting people in orientation and then telling them Oh, you have to go team or lease ops. No solo company drivers!!
I agree. Why anyone would watch a video that they don’t like and spend even more of their time complaining about that video makes no sense. Another thing I don’t understand is when someone makes a negative comment about the video or the content creator other grown men run to defend their honor. I’m sorry but the only man I ever loved enough to defend his actions was my father.
Damn dude, i thought you weren't trucking any longer? Your new channel showed up in my feed. Ur a funny fkr, glad to see you back out here n RUclips'n....🤘😎🤘
3:45 hell im a garbageman i work 50 to 60 hours a week just to pay all the bills take care of wife kids etc tbh im lucky to eat once every 2 days so you could always have it worse i jus5 cant afford to feed meyself but my family is ok idc about me tbh
Covenant drivers are cult like too. Go in a Covenant group and say something that is 100% true about how they scam their drivers and treat them like shit. You’ll get dog piled on and no shortage of death threats. Most of them come from people that has never worked anywhere else. They somehow convince their drivers that they are lucky to be there. Damndest thing I’ve ever seen. I worked there, briefly, very briefly and hands down they were the worst company I’ve ever worked for, and I’ve worked for some shady ass companies over the years.
I started with Covenant as a new driver 3 years ago. My trainer was o/o and close to paying off his truck so I was really interested in it. Things took a turn though and stacked up enough for me to switch companies before I got into their lease purchase program. Still chatted with my trainer from time to time and when he paid his off a few months later, he took the truck and bounced. All 3 of the drivers I teamed with quit before I did so idk anyone who loved it there. Was great for a few months but many issues. Maybe if I'd gone the lease route it might have been different but we'll never know.
Ahh man a cliffhanger. Will Josh make it out of the truck stop alive? Are prime drivers just parking around him to piss him off. This and more on the next episode of This guy trucks!
I have been thinking of coming to Swift as an owner operator, but really want to talk to a current driver there about pay. I know you won’t go over exact numbers, but can you share a pay range average?
For one im a human and two im a truck driver, i literally have multiple emotions each day, i know its shocking. Im literally happy, angry and sad 20 different times a day

Can get a better job now..for every door that closes 2 open
Unemployment will pay for training. See what is available and take it.

@@shanec67 hi! You found me!
Show the carnage if it's going on outside! You can narrate while panning around.
Happy Monday hope your week gets better
I make fitness related - trucking content, but I don’t have many people come at me. Keep your head up and ignore the haters.
Here's an age old motto, for the internet age especially.
"Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one."
I heard prime stopped hiring solos. Only 10% are company drivers and the rest paying $1200 to lease trucks.
I know what you mean. I got this guy always telling me to get back in the kitchen! LOL

It wouldve made the video if the truck that went offroad was a Prime 😂

Thanks! That guy is always causing trouble.
