Muta does the same apply for touchscreen & what is a safe media player. I don't like groove as it grabs the empty files from my windows phone, what do u recommend. I used to use ultimate media player, but don't think it's available anymore.. And what about VLC. It seems dodgy to me. Thanks for your education

Ever think of doing Virus Investigations for Android or IOS? Those have always seemed more mysterious to me.
I second this, you hear about these less than even Mac viruses and it's pretty damn interesting

My husband's mother had a keylogger on the computer when we were in high school to try to monitor my husband's conversations with me. My husband knew and would type nonsense and then just delete the letters he didnt need. Or he'd have us purposefully discuss ridiculous shit to piss her off. Shes also go into his AIM and block me, so hed go through and create a new one. Theyd both be sitting at the table her blocking me and him creating a new screen name and she'd get so angry and tell him to stop and he point blank tell her no.
I wouldnt blame her if my husband was remotely like the typical teen. But he wasn't. He graduated a year early. Didn't even try weed til an adult. Wasnt being hella sneaky. Nothing "bad". Hes the teen every parent wants. Her issue was his friendship with me. Weirdly though on his first day of high school she pointed at me and said "she's cute you shpuld get her number." She went back and forth trying to encouragw our relationship and trying to erase my existence. Which is why after 3+years of not talking we got back in contact, moved in together, and eloped all within a few weeks and NONE of his family knew we were even talking again.

I wonder if one day there'll be a microphone sensitive enough and a program precise enough to learn and log keystrokes on a glass smartphone screen... My guess is almost certainly yes, especially if it has algorithms that can identify the space bar specifically, because that way it can determine the number of letters in each word, and it wouldn't take much to design an algorithm that could calculate the probable letter combinations in each word depending on how many letters, what language is being typed, various grammatical rules regarding common or uncommon letter combinations, etc., and then reference that against the program that's busy learning the sound of every screen tap... At that point some guesswork by a program could come up with a pretty accurate guess in most instances as long as the hardware was sensitive enough and the software and algorithms were smart enough.
I would actually be very surprised if our government wasn't already developing this technology nearly a decade ago. This is probably a reality already in some shape, form or fashion. They say the military and government are already developing essentially any technology you can possibly imagine, and that they have technology more than a decade more advanced than the latest stuff we know about, publicly...

My school keylogs our accouts. and the IT technitians dont like me and ive logged into my google account on the computers. A few days after i get an email saying i was logged in to a nexus phone. not sure if it was them but very sketchy

You forgot to mention the key logger that windows 10 installs. They claim it's so they can improve things like auto complete, but there is really no way to know what they use it for. This can be disabled, but don't rely on windows privacy settings, use a program like winaero tweaker to assist. -Larry

Warning ⚠️ Huge god damn wall of text below read at your own risk
This is becoming a widespread issue because of all the people who get the key logging malware, most of these are easily traceable using task manager or wireshark to figure out what connections are connected to you
Now why is it being a wide spread issue? Well for me I always have to take a hit or a chance with a Keylog and run some tests mostly my parents who make me download movies through torrents which then gets me a key logger in which I remind them it's illegal in the first place but of course why should they listen when it's not even their laptop, either way I always use a VM just to get it over with later on I run tests to see if I do which surprisingly bring no results but then there are those rare moments where it does happen, so I basically do the test like this
I download a movie from a torrent website there's usually this clear RAT exe that's named MovieNameHere.exe and the actual movie which is extracted after clicking on the exe
Now it's obvious I get a movie but also a rat or a keylogger
I make dummy google accounts with baity names like funds or payments with a long ass password
Then I go on to making social network accounts like Facebook and play some games and put a bio or some details
And I regularly login and out to see if any activity would spike
And sure as hell it does
I can see my bio change and posts deleted some games recently played which is funny because the guy had to login to play from his pc and waste his time, google alerts with a IP address from a foreign country and well it's damn clear the keylogger is active
So I'm looking around my pc if there is a specific file that is sending all my keystrokes and well there is by using our revolutionary task manager we can see "Notepad" even when there's no god damn note pad
As I end the process and get details this fake Notepad is activated on Startup but has little to no impact so it's easy to think "yeah that's fine" so disabling it and then restarting the VM annnd it turns out it stopped which is confusing that this kl was easily disabled with task manager alone, now you won't get the same chance as me because it could very well disable your task manager and from there you may need to edit registry to activate task manager google searching is amazing
Any way I opened the location of the fake notepad and deleted it along with the exe and movie
And this ends my test
tl;dr I disabled a keylogger with task manager alone within a VM
Aand i made a keylogger that hooks into the system kernel but restores it after each session so the computer doesnt break - kinda like a rootkit , but non removable because it actually is set as a kernel function. It replicates a really small function but also logs everything. The installer uninstalls the installed program and removes every trace of what happened after the kernel mod is completed. White hat out
Edit : yeah... i shouldve watched the video to the end but the function replacement is new... and i added that it also hooks itself into the graphics card if it gets removed or detected , also it creates a copy of its other function into a build in mic or a headset/earphone mic and functions as an acoustic keylogger if the one in the gpu gets detected because the function replacement killed the gpu
14:45 I know I’m a year late but Hak5 has a hardkey logger that uploads the data to a server I think or send to a burner email and of course it uploads pretty much automatically to their cloud c2 servers pretty scary man. Key Croc

You mention plugin keyloggers, but not soldered on wifi keyloggers? Because there's a whole rabbit hole to go down there. Such as keyloggers that solder on on top of the pads inside the keyboard, and can be accessed from ~40 feet away via wifi.
