Coffee may drastically lower risk of type II diabetes. People who drink several cups per day are the least likely to become diabetic. The reduction in risk ranges from 23% up to an incredible 67%.

Coffee is produced by more than 80 countries, but Brazil is the largest coffee producer in the world. With over 2.5 million tons of coffee produced every year, the Brazilians takes 33% of the world coffee market.
Coffee is a fruit. Coffee beans are actually pits of berries. The coffee berries, sometimes called coffee cherries, are an edible fruit that have coffee beans inside. They are only called beans because of their resemblance to beans.
The Guinness-recognized "oldest cat ever" Creme Puff, who lived to be 38 years old and died in 2005, drank coffee. Her owner fed her coffee every morning along with bacon, eggs and broccoli.

I love my coffee with french vanilla creamer.
I've had over 100 cups of coffee and I'm still her after 68+ years! BTW, Voltaire was said to have drunk coffere whenever he wasn't sleeping. When a friend of his commented that it would kill him, he said it was sure taking it's time. He was 65 at the time as the story goes.
Maybe the story should have included a time limit. Meh!

Hoooooold on! I'm pretty sure it's actually the Finns who drink the most coffee in the world. If I remember correctly, an average Finnish person drinks around 4 cups per day, 12 kg per year

#2 the concoction was put in a pouch and worn around the neck. Body heat would "cook" it and make a kind of original energy bar. It's supposed to be rather tasty.

That part about how coffee consumption reduces risk of type 2 diabetes... Both of my parents used to drink nothing but coffee all day, and they both have type 2 diabetes now... They were even told to reduce the amount of coffee that they drink. I don't think the amount of coffee has anything to do with reduced risk of type 2 diabetes.

It was actually in order for soldiers overseas to get as many sips as they were used to out of their coffee. We aren't wimps like that. We're American.

As a person who knows both I'll say I like coffee and tea and chocolate somehow not as much as on my stomach it has a strange effect - it is either too sweet or has an overly intense cocoa flavor otherwise. Mind you all three are good for you and can have a therapeutic effect (if you don't consume a ridiculous amount). I think tea is healthiest in larger quantities and probably the most desirable, coffee is more enjoyable as a treat. Chocolate actually has lots of food value if you need something and can find a decent bar, although it can also be calorific

I like your videos - pics and info are informative and interesting. I don't mind mispronunciation or whomever narrates the info; it is so much nicer than having to read it myself ( I'm not that fast a reader and sometimes miss out sections when subtitled movies move on to another scene. It also detracts from my enjoyment as I seem to spend the whole time reading and not watching - so I miss out on other visual cues). I am slightly deaf, but even with the pronunciation, I enjoy your shows! I only have one minor problem - the sound kept fading in and out; I've noticed it on a couple of other ones, but this one was the worst yet. I'm a wimp when it comes to coffee, I like it weak and sweet; and too much gives me a headache.
