Shit, this brings back my bad memories, my party got thrown over and over again in the middle of the fight against 2 gore-cyclops because that damn enemies mage thing
Core memory: Unlocked
@@ni9elife of course, my enemies keep using tornado almost without cooldown, that thing keep using it like trying to keep away from ground, and f*ck i lost all of my party member, good thing i manage to handle it, by quitting the game and load at the last checkpoint 😢😢
The sequel is going to be absolutely incredible. I cannot WAIT.
It just looks soooo good!
I used the arc of deliverance once and one shot the griffin. My friend who was walking me through the game was pissed he said " there was a whole quest line to go finish off that griffin where you have to travel up a big tower and you just one shot it the first time you see it"!
The magic is this game is one of the best systems there has been
Whats really crazy is when you think of how old this game is its insanly ahead of its time.
(Talks about tornado spell)“But nothing feels quit like this one.” *Forgets that there is a high level meteor shower spell the wipes ever thing out.*
Pov: You become Kushala Daora
Probably the most accurate description by far. 😅
Don't case it indoors. Had to take it away from my pawn to prevent them from casting it in caves.
I can just imagine you talking to the pawn like: “JEFFEREY WE TALKED ABOUT THIS! Give me that! You lost your world ending privileges” XD
Lmao, couldnt ever see, could you?
Can't see a thing and will jump scare you every time lol
Just get out of it, how’s that hard?
I find it hilarious to use inside a dungeon or bitterblack isle most things die in seconds
This was the best RPG for mage/magic users hands down! I loved meteor and earth quick the most
Well now I gotta replay it thanks
Maelstrom looks so much better in DD1
It’s even better in Dark Arisen because even though alot of the Dark Pawns and armors are resistant to Dark it will still launch them so high that the gravity kills them
I enjoyed dragons dogma so much. I might go back and play some more.
Bruh i HATE when my sorcerer pawn casts this in the middle of BBI, i cant see or do anything
Why early-game grinding on the Wite by Greatwall at night can be so hard, yet why you can one-shot the Drake by the Shadow Fort.
Add the cast-time-boosting ring, and, well, for the time you're playing Sorc, you're a one-man army. XD
Magic in other rpgs: pew-pew, some sparkles and the target now have -2% to damage
Magic in DD:
Ive played this game so many times through but ive never done a spell caster. Maybe I should boot it up and give it a go
Spellcasters are freaking awesome.
Meanwhile my thief daggers go boom killing me and slightly damaging enemies
the thing about this spell, is the lockdown you take after casting. Although the tornado pull small enemies, you still keep very vulnerable to big ones and most of time they will one shot you.
For those that don't know malestrom is like the strongest spell in the game as only a handful of enemies aren't basically one shotted by the spell and that's only because they have special hitboxs and even then still kill your character at max level as you'll probably survive getting juggled by the wind but then almost definitely die from plummeting to the earth
You say "one element, that being wind" but while it arguably harnesses elemental wind it definitely harnesses elemental dark.
Had an amazing experience with the greatweapon slam at full charge, being able to knock chimera's down and just casually finishing them off while they lay helpless was so damn wild.
Probably the coolest melee attack.
@@SheenShots Very true, takes ages to charge and you gotta crabwalk all over.
It is SUPER WORTH IT tho
@@Derrad333Nothing against Warrior, but I had more fun experience playing with a jetpack hammer, an actual Greatsword and a longsword that can eats up a boss’s attack and deflect it back in their face from another game…
I can’t recall…something, something…God Eater 3…?
This game had the best spells. One of my top three magic systems in games.
Top three? This better have DD as 1st.
@@aquilliusranger2137 My top magic system is Two Worlds 2.
I love how the spells are not just visuals in thid game... They do carry their weight. Unlike many modern rpg that are stuck on liniting the impact to visuals
Its actually dark damage and the the earthquake spell causes light damage for some reasons
I hope they have this one on dd2, hope it gets out this year. Did U see the Capcom showcase? 😊
Honestly I preferred Seism. Because it didn't obscure my entire f-ing screen every time I cast it.
Nah... for me... It's the Great Sacrificial arrow for the Magic Archer Vocation... everything about the spell just feels intense. From the moment you charge up- to the moment you realize what your sacrifice is. When the screen goes black and white- time slows.. wadada dang.
I honestly loved this and my triple ice glaciers that came out of the ground, could push the dragon back at full upgrade and be used to transverse really made more for transport but as a weapon it’s devastating
