Good morning Mark. Yup, fuel mix too rich or saw not run a wide open are prone to a carbon clogged spark arrestor. With Stihl's 2 stroke oil nowadays you really gotta run your equipment wide open. I use a blow torch and burn the carbon off the spark arrestor screen. Have a good one!
