During our visit to the nations capital region, Cay Equipment's truck experienced a catastrophic failure of 5&6 gears in the transmission. Change your pump to pull off the lower line. Return at the top. Cold water sinks it will mix your tank more efficiently and lessen spot boiling
Greetings from Finland. Your name sounds Finnish 👍
@@MF175mp Yes it is, my great grandfather moved to Thunder Bay Area in late 1800s
@MannistoCay You probably know it, but in Finland it would be written "Männistö"
@ I’ve seen it like that, I guess it’s been Canadianified if that’s a word.
Where in Finland are you from?
@@MannistoCay about 50km south from Oulu. There is a place called Männistö some 8km away from our place but there's probably many of those in Finland. Means a pine forest.
Very good ❤❤❤❤❤
Can you put the snow blower on the front loader
@@bobross2654 No this one is for the back only. 😊🥶❄️
I inherited a CB 6048 with the resort I bought. It is now around 22 years old. It’s been a good stove, we heat 7500 sq ft . I added the duel fuel but the amount I have let it kick in I quickly realized I’m not rich enough to run it on propane ! Lol . I burn 20+ cords a season in northern Ontario. During the -35 we just had I filled it every 6 hrs to keep the 3 cabins and residence worm. And I must add that my dealer is Andrew @H&H and has been awesome to deal with.
@@RichardCarlson-k7w we haven’t hooked up the propane yet, we got the 6048 to reduce/eliminate our propane bill. Love it so far. Thank you for stopping by. Give the Cay a search on Google Maps you’ll see where we are. Take care. 👍🏼😎🔥🪵🇨🇦
Always good to have some fun when it’s cold outside 🙂
Absolutely, the fresh air is good, a little crisp, but good. Glad you enjoyed the show. 🥶😎🔥🇨🇦
Wow that is cold, we moan when it gets below zero. I am pleased you have got the truck sorted. The hot water trick looked funn
@@GardenTractorBoy Yes it's definitely cold out, more layers keeps you warm. Glad to hear you made it over to the Cay! 🥶🔥🪵☺️
How's she goin'? Wow, when you say it's cold out you don't fool around!! Glad to hear you got your truck fixed up. It's nice when a company handles your issues to your satisfaction. Take care and stay warm!!
Hey Mike, glad you could snowshoe over. Stay well and warm. 🔥🪵🏝️
Getting a little chilly out there! Good to see you out and about. Glad to hear the warranty came good on the repairs. Stinks that a known issue isn't something that a factory recall would cover. They just don't build em like they use to. Looking forward to seeing more content from you. Keep on tractoring!
Hey Jon yeah we’re still kicking around up here. Would have been nice to have been a recall but for a 3/4 ton to dump its transmission with less than 75000 miles. Definitely not like they used to build them. Stay warm! 🔥🏝️
Jack frost nibbling at your nose?
Forgot about Dave's challenge. 😂 Might have to try it one night. -1°F here now. Have a good week Mark and Stay safe and warm. ❄🧊

Merci beaucoup monsieur, c’est très froid ici. Not much acting lol.
That Is Pretty Cold -50c !!! 🥶🥶🤣🤣👍👍
We Just lost 5th and 6th gear on our 2020 Ram diesel. What broke on the your transmission?
From what I understand the linkage and valving for those gears.
urs is nice but the 7260 the door is at the ground so u can rool the big logs in easy on ur back and walk inside of her great unit
I haven't seen one like that, my back thinks that is a good idea. Thanks for watching! Hope you subscribed. 😊👍🔥🪵
I had one, it burned 22 cords of hard wood. It was wired wrong, had a local person look at it, zero customer service, called them for three months. I used it two winters then during the following summer, I gave it away. Then bought a Heatmore, burned 7 cord of wood. Excellent customer service. Used this one for six years and sold it. Heat with propane now.
@@Roseau1 Glad you found something that works for you. Propane up here is crazy expensive, that's why it's our backup. Thanks for dropping by. 👍🏝️

It is great that you have a good outcome to the problem. It is always a good day with you get great customer service
@@GardenTractorBoy Definitely nice to have great customer service, hope you folks are doing well ? 🇬🇧🇨🇦🛻👍
If the damper is closed and you want to open the door, don’t just pull it open but unlatch it (keep hand on lever against roller bearings) and wait 10-20 seconds for the smoke to go up the chimney, THEN pull it open. -You can have a back draft if it recently had cycled off and you open it by pulling it open too fast. -that’s a memorable event. Enjoy the furnace. I have had a dual fuel ready 5648 at least 20 years, heating 2 houses. I only burn wood.

I have the same one bought in 07, I had to lower the Water temp 165/175 for the Domestic as it over heated the Safety on the Water heater Gas valve . I had 4 zone Base Board Hydronic so no mixing needed. I did install a mixing valve for domestic 140 Deg water out the tap was a bit much. My whole System was home brewed and worked very well till 2019 When the house was replaced and I moved out taking the OWB with Me, Since My new place has in-slab Heat I lowered the temp even more 145/155 I do not need mixing valves at all And since the whole system is no-pressurised I do not need Heat separation Cept for the Domestic. My flat plate for the Domestic is close to the floor to get the most out of thermocycling and do not need to run a Pump to get it going. i remove the Drain from the bottom of the Water heater tank a plumbe the whole Ckit with 3/4" parts including a Filter rated for Hot water. The Filter keeps any Crud from getting in the Flat Plate. I wired the Front Light to the Damper Ckt with a blue C7 Bulb That lets Me know when the Damper was open I also had one in the house too.. With a Rifle scope I could see the Temp on the Love controller HAHAHAHAH Can not see it at My new place. It is so nice walking in bare feet on a warm floor HAHAHAHAH.... One thing I did at My new place is raise up the OWB 1+ Cinder blocks high So I did not have to lean over to put Wood in. being 6"4+ It was a face full of Smoke now it is so much nicer.
@@m9ovich785 I love the lightbulb connected to the damper circuit. The unending hot water is great . Must have been interesting moving the boiler? Glad you stopped by. 🔥🪵👍🏼😎🌴
@@MannistoCay I had a medium duty Wrecker pick it up and I backed my trailer under it then just the opposite at My new Place which was only 10 Miles.
