Then, we’ll teach you a couple of techniques to help you minimize pain, ranging from meditating and visualizing out-of-body scenarios, to straight-up screaming and cussing. Finally, we’ll run you through a couple different kinds of pain you might be liable to face, from the old-school stuff like pulling toenails to more modern psychological techniques, like the dreaded stimulant-free “White Room.”

I come from an abusive childhood where my parents would beat me until I sobbed. If you didn't cry, they wouldn't stop. Oh yes. Anyway, I'm seventeen and my situation is much better. With paper cuts, muscle soreness from working out, stubbing my toes or catching my fingers on doors, I don't react. Or at least, very minimally. I'd like to say it's pain endurance, however, most of it is just acceptance of the pain. Accepting this won't go away immediately, therefore functioning normally until it does leave. This mentality stemmed from my childhood, of course, but it's very effective--or at least for me.

when I was 20 years old I had my left ring finger go through a set of gears on a Diesel Engine (3406B Caterpillar for those wondering) it mashed my finger cracking the bone and I yanked my hand backwards ripping about 1/2 inch off. I went to the hospital they could not reattach the finger tip it was to mangled so they had to cut back the bone the sound i can only describe as the sound of a fat preschool pencil being snapped as the doctor cut back the bone so he could sew up the end of my finger. I was given basically over the counter pain meds (Advil is about as close as it was) this was in 1992. I learned what pain was that night as I tried to sleep and dreamed it was happening again and made a fist lol. Fast forward 6 years I was getting a physical for a new job and was told I had a bad back so I went to 2 more doctors to confirm what I was told and the last one showed me the Xrays of my back and told me I would be crippled in a wheelchair by the age of 30 I asked what my options was he said steel rods in my spine to hold me together and 50/50 walking after surgery I refused. Ok It is now late 2004 I am pushing 34 about to turn 35 my EX GF was seeing a doctor for her back she hurt at work and he said lets see your Xrays no cost cause he knew I had a bad back. This man looked at the Xrays and turned white as a sheet and said I don't know how you can walk cause these Xrays tell me you can't but I see you do it with only a slight limp and they tell me you live with Immense pain and I know you refuse to take pain meds except for the odd Ibuprofen. I smiled and said doc it is like this I keep my mind busy it so it can not register the pain and as for how I can walk that is sheer willpower and just being to stubborn to sit down in a wheelchair (to this day I have not sat down in a wheelchair ever even after surgery on my chest I refused to ride in one)
Pain can be controlled if you have enough will power me I have a issue with my brain anyway it never really stops working it is always thinking even when I am asleep I will wake up with a random thought or Idea that is how I can deal with the pain I feel. I am 50 years old and I still am walking and refuse pain meds.

BTW My most painful experience was getting shot in my belly with a airsoft gun by some kid.
I got so freaking angry, I split his gun into two parts and asked "WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS?!" and he ran away lol crying lol. My friends called me a monster but anyways I got my revenge.

My pain tolerance is pretty High like i had a to Big bone in my ancle and my docter asked me if it hurt and i Said no i hadn’t felt any pain from it and the docter was surprised by it and i Can eat really hot food when people around me can’t even eat it
