This is very true. If you try to charge a cheap price as a small CPA firm it's a race to bottom you're not going to win. Some generic online tax software company or a bookkeeping company that employs people from India will always be able to beat you out. You need to focus on offer quality service to fewer clients to truly win over a cheap product to more clients.

I will be very honest here. I’m an accountant working remotely, completed many projects got awesome feedbacks. YES! I so agree! The other thing I never do is "mate's rates" (I don't know if you have that term in the US; it's when you either expect or are offered a discount because you know the person). A business person, be it a bookkeeper or plumber or whoever, has costs and expertise and one should pay for that honestly and with respect. Besides, you may not be in a position to reciprocate, in which case you've just taken advantage/been taken advantage of.

Todos hasta El gobierno Al parecer quieren destruirnos con reglas e impuestos por donde sea. SI llamas a un broker para negociar TE dicen en pocas palabras lo Tomas o lo dejas.

Not true at all. The problem is finding a good (but affordable) accountant is hard to find.
All the good ones charge a lot of money.

@@HectorGarciaCPA Currently I am without an accountant and searching. I have a few friends who are business owners and a bunch of 1099's and none of them had thier taxes done on time this year. They all had to file extensions cuz the accountants weren't ready.
I know it costs money but it seems even the ones that get paid upwards of $400 a month dont do anything except email you weekly to remind you to do all your entry.
