This exact video is being aired all over Nigeria currently and I'm very proud to find out you made this masterpiece. Very DOPE!!! I am so startled at the fact that you did not understand the language (Igbo Language) he was singing yet you rendered a more deserving video. Trust me, you've won the hearts of Nigerians. For sure, this is just the beginning of shooting Nigerian/African videos. Anyways, I've subscribed and would be expecting more of this. Cheers!!!
Couldn't thank you all for the amazing comments so far! Seems that the video has helped a lot of people and a lot of people really appreciate this style of vlog/tutorial. I'll be working hard to produce more of these videos! Remember, all of the products I used to shoot this music video are In the description! Feel free to comment or email me any questions you may have and I'd be more than happy to pass on some knowledge.
RoyalZProduction: I like how you delivered your tutorial. I like shooting videos but i don't have budget yet. So my question is how can I start with cheep cameras?
RoyalZProduction visit my channel and subscribe, like you I love taping videos like short film, and music videos. I have to videos that already uploaded. But they all shoted by cheep cameras.
Unreal!!!! Love the transition idea with the umbrella, too cool! I really like how honest you are with how you come up with some of the idea, haha! The behind the scenes videos are the best!! Nice work Andy!
Thanks for that behind the scenes look at music video movie making. I learned a lot about the process and now I am anxious to shoot my first music video. I love the color grading! Also, thank you for sharing your talents with the rest of us.
Dude I don't know how you arent bigger than 21k subs. You are a fucking legend and believe it or not your style is exactly the inspiration I needed. I've been wanting to do a mixture of cinematic films relating to cars, businesses, and music videos for rappers. Seeing what you do makes me super confident that I can continue what I'm doing. I bought a really nice camcorder, with a rig setup and a flash etc.
Man, anything is possible! Watch my latest video I dropped called 'How I got into videography. My story'. It explains a lot how i got into all of this. I appreciate your comment though even though I'm reaching it so late. I hope all is well and you've been filming lots! Much love!
Damn man, the shots were so good I was getting hyped with you ahaha. Jve switched from a nikon to a Sony A6000 now and plan to start focusing more on video, I've been learning a lot from your videos. Keep going, you're now one of my favorite channels
I've watched your first behind the scenes vlog which made me a subscriber. GREAT JOB, DOPE VIDEO. I'm also 100% positive that the simple fact of you explaining all the different camera settings while talking to the VLOG camera and they are all waiting to shoot the video just reassured them ALL that they chose the right person for the job. 💪
Max Anderson Films hey, thanks so much! really appreciate the comment!! Haha nice.. I have some family friends in Alaska.. looks like a beautiful part of the world🙏
you are incredibly good, I can’t believe it took youtube 3 years to show me this video in the recommendations at last. You are mega cool buddy, please light it up further.
Thanks man! This is a hella old video but I feel is timeless for up and coming music videographers! You should check out our more recent tutorials! They’re even better and still just as educational!
@@RoyalZProduction I'm already tired of adding your videos to my library of liked videos :) Once again - you are incredibly cool buddy, especially since you answered my comment in less than an hour - that's what I call communication with your audience, respect buddy, you are in mine favorites! Go on, I'm your faithful fan!
I discovered you a few months ago and I’m still getting caught up on all your videos but I love this style of video you’ve got here.. you’re doing something really great here.
Man! @ 23:03, I love how you lined up that cigar sniff with the "tsss" sound from the high hat in the song!! As a dancer, I'm always looking at the musicality concept of shit haha
Great video! Do you know if there is some sort of permission that you have to have to do this action scenes (kidnapping part) I wonder if neighbors would call the cops or something? Thanks
Got an amazing one coming very soon! Keep those video notifications on. I'm about to hit you guys with something extremely beneficial catering to the music videography scene.
good shit bro.. this the second video i see from you showing how to do this and you really inspired me to get started with my own... thanks for all the info my g!!
Thank you!! Appreciate this! if you want to learn even more and get some more education where I dive even deeper than my music video tutorials on RUclips, check out my online music video course! www.learnfreelancefilmmaking.ca/
What up Royal Production, I just came across your channel and I want to thank you for all the good info you are putting out. I really appreciate it. I am just beginning to make music videos and watching your video really gives me insight and inspires me. Keep up the good work
Hey after learning from most of your Videos am starting a project to support the local artist from non formal settlement or slums here in kenya, and i want to further my learning by shooting for young upcoming artist from the slums but its just the start although i still have no equipment but all borow hope to show you some when i start. keep posting more videos
I have just bought a camera.. i am an amateurly amateur musician from the foothills of Himalaya between Bhutan Nepal and Bangladesh.. Just tyring to potray myself with your help !!
If I want a wide shot, I zoom all the way out on the Sigma 18-35mm (Link In description) to 18mm. If I need a super wide shot, I'll use a wide angle lens such as the Sigma 11-16mm
Haha we're shooting a new music video this week and am also doing another behind the scenes with him so stay tuned! You can get In contact with him on Facebook inbox. Search Bonfice and his page will come up or DM him on Instagram @Bonfice
TheJimmyIrvin haha nice! if you decide to purchase the ronin, I have a link to it in the description of this video;) and I render out in 24fps every time if it's a 4k video
Great vlog. I've been looking for infos like this for a while. Thank you for sharing these tips. One precision please: How despite the camera movement do you keep everyone/everything in focus while shooting at f1.2? I know you explained it but I didn't catch it. Would be great if you can make a video dedicated to that topic. (Keeping actors in focus I'm a music video) Thks again
Hey man! Check out my newest tutorial on the channel! I explain it In one separate video! Focusing at F1.2 is pretty difficult. You have to be extremely steady and your subject can't be moving around a lot. usually if I have lots of movement I dont have my F stop anywhere less than F2.8. I like to sit at F5.0 If I'm moving around a lot. For very low light scenarios when shooting as low as F1.2, I'm for the most part always zoomed out to 18mm on my Sigma 18-35mm. If I'm zoomed In at 35mm, I'm always extremely careful with my focus. Having an external monitor helps SO much with keeping a sharp focus. Hope this helps!
Are you using a universal mount for the gh4 to the ronin? cause i have the same exact setup but the bottom mounting plate sits flush on the lens so i cant adjust the zoom or put the front support on
Since I use a metabones speedbooster, there speedbooster actually has a hole with the same size threads thats kind of dropped further down than the camera body, therefor I never have clearance issues if that makes sense

MRMADDEN&2K I'll make a separate video explaining my favourite transitions!
your vid posts are truly helpful; am using a canon 5D mkii, hopefully i can shoot something close to the dope vidz you are doing.
Thanks! Nice man.. Those are great cameras. You can definitely come out with an awesome product
Are you using a universal mount for the gh4 to the ronin? cause i have the same exact setup but the bottom mounting plate sits flush on the lens so i cant adjust the zoom or put the front support on
Since I use a metabones speedbooster, there speedbooster actually has a hole with the same size threads thats kind of dropped further down than the camera body, therefor I never have clearance issues if that makes sense
good job can we know how you do your arrangement before the shoot and editing
I will be making a video of that In the future, stay tuned!
