Amazing two years later and the team may even be better with half the team replaced with younger and hungrier players. Still get goosebumps watching this. As a kiwi the 24 years was a very loooong wait and only kiwis know exactly how huge that moment was when andy ellis kicked the ball out in the final! Bliss feeling almost like time stopped! Idk that's how I felt! Lol

As a British rugby supporter no matter what country your from you have a appreciate the all blacks skill no matter what!!!
Being in Auckland that night was something special alright. And the victory parade the next day, just wow. A sea of black, surely 100,000+ strong. The All Blacks of the early 2010s were in a class of their own, confirmed with back to back cups in 2015.

2011 were a lil bit nervous and nearly botch it vs France in the final . But from 2012 to 2017 they were practically untouchable . 2018 went someway downhill and 2019 was the first year since 2009 I believe that they didn't win a title . Anyway we know they are gonna be the greatest again . From my point of view I gotta admit I love to see NZ lose , only because I like upsets and I don't like this much domination. But in the same time I know they are great ambassadors to the sport and a privilege to watch them
Whooooaaaaaa. 9 years ago was not a surprise seriously. 5 years ago it was a surprise to get to the final but our team 9 years ago was the best team we have had. But I agree, the 6 nations and Autumn internationals leading up to the WC will be an indication to how well we do.

I was at the final - I never tire of this. We scored more tries than anyone by a long was, as is the case in 6 out of 7.
As for the song, I love that we have words that are specific to us, specific to rugby, not generic rap from the US. However the tune is not exactly something to jump up and down about

Oh no (clutches heart), what did they do wrong to cause such hate in an "ozi". Neither team played flash in the final, the All Blacks just managed to be the team with the extra point in the end
Yeah it's all great, England has a strong team and I support them. But I also think people are getting a bit overly excited about this win. Lets not forget the All Blacks record so far this year and last year (not losing for the entirety of the Quad Nations 2012 and almost all of the Northern Tour 2012), it definitely stomps on England from a great height and weight. England struggle to beat SA and Aus, while the ABs thrash them the majority of the time currently. I'm reserved.
