What's even better is that He want's to absorb Kairos who arguably has more ability with foresight than even Tzeentch himself. But he doesn't know
A. What'd that would do.
B. If he could recreate that bit of luck with Kairos.
17:05 itty bitty addendum, but to further make sure that P'tarix and Xirat'p don't betray Tzeentch and use his magic for themselves, he created the demons with specific limitations to their minds: P'tarix knows how to locate and write down the spells they find, but doesn't actually know how to read. Xirat'p, meanwhile, can read P'tarix's writings and say the spells to cast them, but doesn't actually understand what the spell is or what it does until it's cast.
This leads to them effectively being the embodiment of 'Random bullshit, go!', and the two will either claim the spells they cast went all according to plan... or occasionally Xirat'p will complain that P'tarix gave him a useless spell, and P'tarix will lament that Xirat'p used the wrong spell, despite neither of the two really knowing what they're doing.
It’s funny because they are two halves of a Pink Horror that he split up like this. It’s pretty hilarious.
They are the only reason I actually like Tzeentch demons over any others.
Sloppity Bile piper is a close second.
What if they found a spell to permanently fuse themselves together to challenge Tzeentch.

The Horus Heracy game (not the novels) keep dropping hints at him (for example the Ravenous Dissolution Ætheric Dominion). So I guess he exists again (which I'm assuming he absolutly hates).
I love the idea of daemons having lives outside of battle, like a horror punches out and goes back to his apartment at tzeentch towers on the 49th floor only to find its gone, and after checking with reception he finds out tzeentch has sort fit to shuffle the apartments and he is now on the 87th floor. And when he finally gets home he trys to make a relaxing cup of tea only to find his tabs now only breath fire, and while his is 'thanking' tzeentch for this wonderful change he is just starring out the window seething as a gathering of nurgle daemons are using the community space across the road to have a bbq of organic home grown rotten fruit and vegetables, celebrating the new young couple that has moved into the community and the birth of 4 new nurglings since last bbq. Also a korne daemon that likes to make flower arrangements in his spare time "IT BRINGS ME JOY!!" being his response.

Khorne Daemons would also probably be immensely efficient at mowing lawns, and getting rid of pests/invasive plants.
They'd have the most random hedges, due to the fact they'd start cutting it properly, with perfect horizontal cuts, but then the rage would fill them, and they'd start cutting in every direction.
Also, they make wonderful flower bouquets, because they actively cut the plant's head to collect the flower, and it's metal A.F.
Somehow their floral arrangements always look like skulls, even when they try to make ANY different shape.
And just when they have their dinner and drink in front of tv (after having to stand up again to get the drink) they have some whingy cultists voice in their mind "great demon of the warp, come to us aid us in the battle"
OR some naked grey knight aspirant pop out of their tv to battle them to gain pass some challenge.
And we all know what slanneshi demons do
There's a faction of Tzeentch Daemons in AOS that really do go to war only because they have to. However they want to burn everything to dust so they can get back to their books.
TTS put it best: "Demons are part of their respective god the same way cells make up an organism"
And the mythocondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
In the case of the gods, mythocondria is belief.

4:37 It’s now my headcanon that all Tzeentchians; Heralds, Princes’, Greater Daemons, chaos spawn, pink horrors, the Changeling, Rubric marines, Thousand Sons, Astartes, cultists, Kairos, Magnus and Tzeentch himself do the Peter Griffin dance whenever ‘Bird is the Word’ plays.
They don’t get slaughtered immediately because people tend to pause in confusion for several minutes whenever this happens.

51:00 Korra never had a problem with fire. Her agressive nature lend itself to that element quite comfortably. It was Air that caused trouble for her.

One can think of Earth and Fire as the most physical elements of the Avatar world. Earth in particular is the embodiment of facing your problems in a direct and predictable way; Fire is about action, movement and passion. In a strange irony, Korra was born to a Water Tribe, but is a far better Fire/Earthbender than she is a Waterbender because she's all about 'face problems directly, act first think later, fix things with action and physicality' - more or less the direct opposite of Aang.
By contrast, Water and Air are very spiritual and indirect; another comparison you might draw is that Earth and Fire tend to be very outward, focused on changing the world around you to suit your needs, whereas Water and Air are more introspective, changing yourself to move better through the world.
Water, as you probably already know, tends to take the path of least resistance and is therefore remarkable for being perhaps the most versatile of all elements, and Air (being omnipresent) tries to see the problem from every angle and might even ask the question 'is this thing a problem, or is it merely a lack of understanding that causes us to see it as one?', which naturally leads Air Nomads to play peacemaker. Korra is absolutely not the kind of person who likes to sit around considering things from all angles or taking into account multiple different points of view: once she's found something she believes is right she acts on it.
The reason Korra found connecting with spirits so difficult is because she naturally approaches everything like it's a conflict or a challenge - but the problem with that is, when there's no-one else around, someone who doesn't know how to stop fighting will naturally end up fighting their own self, and you simply can't attune with the spirits when you're divided against yourself. I won't spoil anything just in case, but certain incidents forced Korra to look inwards and face a fear that can't be defeated by punching or bending it away, which eventually led to her being sufficiently at peace with herself that she could interact with the spirits. That is, essentially, the major trajectory of her character arc in a nutshell.

Kairos wasn't the first Lord of Change that Tzeentch threw into the Well of Eternity, he was just the first that came back out. Previously Tzeentch was just yeeting them in like, once a week, and nothing happened so he'd ADHD and wander off to do something else for a bit. Then he'd swing back around again, throw another Lord of Change in. Wait a bit, get bored, wander off and do something else. Then he threw Kairos in and he got spat back out all kinds of weird, so he was like "Huh, neat!" And thus Kairos was one of his favourites.
Now why was he yeeting them inside in the first place is another question

I have read somewhere that for Tzeentch, there is no true end goal, just countless plans upon plans that feed back into each other and in contrast to each other, all he cares about is creating and enacting new schemes to cause chaos and confusion, just to eternally drag out the great game.
In a sense, he’s playing the game because he loves it. He doesn’t want to end, because then he’d be bored with no more plans.
If id follow chaos, I’d choose him because for one, I just like messing with people and kicking over the sand castle for fun. It’s essentially purposeless, but damn it I’ll cause change in any way I can.

I would LOVE a Skaven episode. I'm a great fan of Ikit Claw myself (because who doesn't love nukes and machine guns in a medieval fantasy setting), although there are plenty of other notables like Queek Headtaker, Deathmaster Snikch and Throt the Unclean.

Can’t believe you left out that pink horrors plot into two blue horrors when they’re killer, and blue horrors split into two brimstone horrors when they’re killed, and brimstone horrors are basically little sentient embers that run around and set things on fire before they burn out. Literally my favourite aspect of Tzeentch, and his whole leaning into mutation thing

the flying blue and pink horrors in total war are the cutest when their hp reaches zero. they run around panicking then they hug saying they love each other as theyre pulled back to the warp. specifically the flying ones.
In modern Greek kairos (καιρός) means weather so it's pretty cool that "a moment in time" became "what weather is going on"

Omg, that story about the guy bringing the Sting replica to a stage show reminds me of a story my boss told me when I worked at a theater. He was involved in a black box production set in a WWII prison camp and this 20-something German guy was involved in it. They were talking in a production meeting about how they needed a costume for a guard character and this German guy was all "Don't worry about it, I have that covered". The next day he came in with an SS uniform. And I don't mean a recreation of one, he brought in a real SS uniform from 1942, which as my then boss told me; "he just happened to have, for some reason".

Just wanted to say that today, in my history class, while discussing fundamental concepts for teaching history, a colleague brought up the distinction of the two concepts of time as Kronos and he couldn't remember what the other was and I said "Káiros?" (Which was merely a guess) And I was on point. Time as Kronos is the entirety of time, time as Káiros is the present moment, and that later came up when exploring the development of a child's perception of time regarding themselves and others in their early years, as they have to graduate from Káiros to Kronos as they get older and have a better understanding of permanency and sequentiality

The maze reminds me of a logic puzzle I heard about a long time ago; and I feel like it sets the bar for what these riddles must be like. Its a twist on the classic "one tells the truth one tells lies" thing. There are three gods - one tells truth; one tells lies; one is randomly determined each question. You get 3 yes or no questions; but you don't ask all three at once; you only ask one at a time. If you want to ask a second god the same question; that uses another question. The gods understand english; but respond in their own language; so you don't actually know which word is yes and which is no - you have to figure that out as well. At the end of your questions you need to determine which god is which and what is yes and what is no.

To be fair, as a child she shown being adaptable to quite forceful elements while air is not that by it's philosophy.
It's because ang was an air bender through and through starting element and personality wise Korra may have started as a water bender but personality wise she was more of an earth bender hard headed and unchanging so she struggled most with air
Only thing with Korra, she actually learned firebending quite quickly. Her opposed bending was actually air

The Imperial Guard and the different PDF's are definitely gonna need their own episode just to cover a generalization with specific examples. That, or a Gilbert and Sullivan style pattern song.
If Bricky's summary was anything to go by, you could easily devote a separate episode each to the Astartes, Guards, SoB, Admech, Inquisition, Assassinorum, Titans, Grey Knights... there's a LOT of ground to cover. I feel like the Marines and the Guard will almost certainly get their own episodes, but the rest... we'll see.
And as for Big E, that would essentially involve explaining the entire central plot of WH40K. If the Numbskullz *are* going to do an episode on Emps himself, it's gonna be a loooong one.

Whenever Tzeentch (or one of its followers) says "Just as planned" there is a good 50/50 chance that it didn't go according to plan and they are either just trying to unsettle you or try and hide that they actually failed.
Legit using this series to induct my wife into the 40k universe. Thank you so much for this! This makes it fun and entertaining for her to grasp. Can't wait til you get to the imperium/space marines and she still doesn't know how humanity kinda plays into the universe.

Excellent explanations of the Warhammer Lore, these videos are great fun and probably the easiest way to make it fun-er just like bricky vids for newbies to get into Warhammer.
Just enjoying going through these casts one by one.
Warhammer is such a wholesome hobby - the lore I did not get into until later on and realised just how mad and cool and very adult it is!
Hearing about all the demons of Tits-Snitch makes me flashback to Boltgun, I once tried to chainsword a Lord of Change to death just to see if I could, I could not because of the line of sight attack. I am surprised that they didn't talk about how Pink horrors when killed split into 2 blue horrors which is really annoying, so many fireballs. Of course when it comes to demons that are a random mass of teeth, eyes and claws, there is those who should not be named. Can't wait to see Chaos Undivided, Be'Lakor and Vashtor have really come along recently.
This series has been great it really helped me decide to commit to playing 40k big necron enthusiast
I have a OC for Warhammer where he’s friends with both Nurgal And Tzeentch because the knowledge he seeks is basically him wanting to be a mini nurgal. He basically just wants to see what kind of new shit he can make in this mini garden of his and is constantly looking for new ways to create life. This basically makes him liked by both gods despite both gods hating each other.

I can see _why_ people might see Tzeentch as 'pretty cool'.
But as I have aged, I just see them as a really flaky person who would never commit to anything. Just always changing plans. And it doesn't matter if it succeeds or fails, they'll just say "Ah yes, as I always planned."
And it's just like "Shut up, you never knew this was going to happen. If you're in charge of everything, then why are the Thousand Sons always so awful at tournaments."

The Opening bit with Rubarchaeon and the Griffin of Change is the funniest fucking thing i've seen in a long time
honestly i wish you talked about the changeling cause he is the funniest sob to ever exist for it was he who a took the shape of a Daemonette, then stole the silver apples of knowledge from Slaanesh's palace in the Dark Prince's Realm then On the edge of the Dark Prince's territory he then assumed the form of a Plaguebearer and slipped into Nurgle's garden, only to grow tired of the game and abandon the apples to rot amidst the decaying fronds. but while slannesh and nurgle were fighting he was already elsewhere stealing Collars of Khorne from Flesh Hounds and melting them down to create brass dioramas of the Blood God's greatest defeats. or the time he sealed the brass doors of khornes realm shut and forced khorne to break them open, but he wasnt there for that he was to busy cutting off slaaneshes hair!

31:30, If I remember right, Kairos was like the last Lord of Change because Tzeentch was just tossing in greater demons willy nilly and they were all being destroyed by the Well.

There are actually some independent demons and warp critters out there! Furies are just little shards of emotions, for example, that aren’t bound to any one god but will join up with them for a power boost. Also don’t forget our boy Drach’Nyen, pretty sure he’s not tied to any particular god.
