Noah's (Bad Omens) verse towards the end is a beautiful tribute to Keaton. He passed in 2022 and was one of Noah's best friends.

I read up about it. It's such a beautiful tribute, you're right. Must have been very difficult to do.

This song ripped my heart out. It's so haunting to hear Keaton's words about how sick he was near the end of his life. His voice evokes emotion like no other for me.

It’s terribly tough to listen to. Such an important but hard listen. I won’t ever forget filming this one.

This song doesn’t need much explanation. So no need to be sorry for not breaking down all elements in its composition. It’s a song that just hit your emotions, both in a good and sad way. So thanks for your reaction 😀👍

I don't really have anything to add about the song, I just want to say I love that you're comfortable to show, on video, 30 seconds of silence with one sigh in the middle as you process the emotions.

It's always been important to me to show the good and the ''bad''. Sometimes it's uncomfortable but at it worst it will always be honest and authentic. Thanks for this comment. It does mean a lot.

The respect to showed made me subscribe. Your genuine care for music and detail to look up some of the details make you stand out. I’ve seen many people react to this song solely to hear Noah that they completely miss the entire tone and message of the song. TCTT instantly became one of my favorite bands, sadly weeks before Keaton passed, because of the way he can convey such emotion through his voice, I love that they hardly ever edit out the true vocals, it’s refined but you can hear Keaton’s breathing in most songs almost as if it were live and that just really sets the tone of the band, I feel we were robbed of what this band could have been but the music they wrote will never be forgotten by me

Your loss for words and your deeply ponderous expressions show your respect not just for the music itself, but also to the people who poured their grief and energy into this tribute as you called it. This is the first review of yours I’ve watched, but I will be back ❤

Noah and Keaton had so much respect for each other. Noah cared deeply and we see how beautiful and heartbreaking this song is. Rest peacefully Keaton. ❤️

I don't think I've commented before but I always look forward to your uploads and appreciate the way you speak about music and emotion so much. I myself am very bad at vocalizing my thoughts and you somehow always manage to perfectly explain the things I think about while listening to music like this. This song absolutely blew me away and Noah's part in this always makes me bawl my eyes out. I highly recommend also checking out the live performance Bad Omens & Too Close To Touch did on Sympathy if you haven't already. Also Too Close To Touche's song Eiley is heartbreakingly beautiful. I'm looking forward to the next reaction and I hope you're well Chase.

This Song is currently my top 1 most listened to songs of the last month.
I loved too close to touch. The Band got me through so many difficult times and so many of their songs made me feel like I'm not alone with the way I'm feeling and encouraged me to move on. When I heard that keaton passed away, I was devestated. And so this Song means so much to me. It's not just a song. It's a memory. It's so tough to listen to this beautiful piece of art. Every time it plays, a part of my soul cries, but also jumps and screams along to the lyrics.
Thank you, Keaton, for all you have done for me.
    Rest in peace my friend.

Hearing this song. And listening to Too Close to Touch - Eiley. Where he sings about the loss of his little sister, is really something.
Eiley is such a powerful song. Its so painful, but so amazing.

I’d been putting off listening to this album because I knew it’d be so difficult to listen to and getting to this song had been the hardest. They’ve been my favorite band since the moment I heard ‘Won’t You Listen’ and Keaton’s passing was… hard. They say to never meet your idols, but the handful of times I’d been able to meet Keaton I was always grateful because he was a gift to us. This band was a gift to us. Thank you for respecting this and so eloquently voicing the depth and intention of their music that so many others glaze over or don’t recognize.

I love Too Close to Touch. At the time, I did not follow the music closely enough. I did not know about Keaton's passing.
I saw Bad Omens last year (2023), and when Noah and Keaton's song was being played and sung, I was at a loss.
The emotion in the song was palpable.

What happened to the singer of Too Close to Touch?
Serving as the heart of the band was the cherished frontman, Keaton Pierce, whose unexpected passing in 2022 from complications related to acute pancreatitis left fans reeling. Following Pierce's tragic loss, many never anticipated experiencing his voice and evocative lyrics again.
