- Has some fun with a buddy of mine today breaking out my entire B.C. Rich Guitar Collection. I have a bunch of rare import models that are extremely hard to find as well as some vintage and custom shop models that you wont see anywhere else. This video was unplanned and kinda shot on the spot but I thought it would be something that you guys and B.C. Rich fans may enjoy watching.

The white Warlock with the Les Paul type headstock, no death metal horns, and R logo that Mick Mars plays in the Looks That Kill vid is incredible. I'm more of a Spalted Mockingbird guy with the cloud inlays, but that particular one blew my mind. When the vid was originally released to Mtv and aired for the first time, BC Rich guitars weren't carried in the shops around my house. Learned about them from guitar magazines.

@@CasualCastle I actually love eagles. I wanted to get a black one with a kahler also from the 80's but decided not to get it. I have a bunch of guitars that need to get worked on so right now I would rather spend the money to get them up and running the way I want but with that said if that eagle is still available once I'm done with all this stuff I'm buying it lol

Damn......at one point I had 37 bc riches and I've had 52 total. All but 10 were USA. I'm down to 8. I miss em all.

I have 25 guitars, 3 keyboards, and 13 amps... And many other toys.... One of my guitars is a first year BC Rich Virgo Celtic with an ebony fretboard that I truly love! Plays like a dream!! 😎👍

Yeah man I can't stand them. Also the fishmans are not my thing either but at least those could be swapped out. The killswitch looks even worse on the archtop models man.

@@DreadfulGooz awesome collection btw boss, gotta get some strings in those guitars. Making me cringe thinking about banana necks. Almost ruined one of mine leaving strings off it with tension on the truss rod.

Super nice collection. I love all the BC Rich guitars, especially the old ones, but the Mockingbird is my favorite shape of all. And I don't own one yet. I have an '88 STIII, a Dark Arts Warlock, a white Iron bird limited and waiting for my custom Neal Moser M6 (Bich) with full electronics package. My first handmade guitar, can't wait.

I have a 1980 Bc Rich Eagle deluxe bass...got it last summer for just about the best deal ever...craftsmanship is second to none...I play just about every genre and it's the best bass I've ever played (been through a lot of them)...would love to try a vintage Mock one day. Best wishes from Canada.
That sounds like a sweet axe. I would love to see it. I used to have a 5 string eagle bass that was just bad ass. I do miss that bass but the good thing is I could buy it back possibly someday because I sold it to a friend who still owns it lol. Cheers from nyc homie.🤘🏾😎🤘🏾

I kinda wish u owned a b.c. virgin. A fender strat goes to prom with a b.c. warlock , love baby is the virgin. Wish I'd gotten one when they were easier to find. But that was bout 30 yrs ago. They were everywhere.
I'm not familiar with your stuff, but followed BCR since first seeing Paul Chapman, Neil Geraldo, Joe Perry and others play American Handcrafted original BC Riches, I've got a black import pair in black where one is an Ironbird early NJ original, the other a bolt on 1988-89 vintage NJ Warlock, both trems, one Kahler upgraded from Flyer to Pro surface mount. another BCR from eBay is an unfinished fan built replica it seems, shown in images to Mr. Neal Moser, bought a true BCR electronics package; 2001 Wolf Rose .45 Magnum Bullet Pre-amp... no real good idea what pickups could match up to it...seems uber-rare, any help appreciated
BTW, the Warlock is Floyd Rose similar that BCR used back then, possibly Schaller, the white no-ID eBay special is a fan favorite BC Rich Bich for Kahler Pro as well, and it has major issues that will cost me over 1000 dollars to deal with, I'm sure, but it's fantastically light and thin, styled authentically as well, I owned a 1987 Bich in red with budget chosen options, Kahler fulcrum spring version tremolo and dot inlays, the build Bich 'mystery' one has diamond inlays ... cool!

There’s just something about BC Rich guitars man. My body art series Ironbird has always been one of my favorites. It’s got the “space face” design on it. I even still have the t shirt that came with the guitar haha. I had some work done to it many years ago though. I had a shop add a Floyd and I had previously installed some Duncan Distortion pickups. It’s got some sort of unfixable intunation issue, but I just work around it. It’s a cheaper end guitar, so that’s just a bonus feature I guess lol. I use it in about 99% of my recordings and uploads. My other favorite brand would have to be Jackson. Those 2 just feel the best to me.
I never liked superstrats or pointy guitars in the 80s. I was a Les Paul guy even before Slash made them popular, but I absolutely loved Warlocks and Biches! I owned a neon yellow platinum series Warlock. I wish I still had it.
I love the warlocks with the more "rounded" edges on the body. I think it gives them a more confortable look and removes the edgy teen aesthetic but leaving all the personality. Good video dude awesome collection.

Yo awesome video! I love warlocks. So they do custom shops? I’d love a red flat top warlock with black binding. Bolt on maple neck, ebony board. Widow headstock matching body finish. Same kind of inlay like mick thomsons HATE but i would go with LOVE. Tune o matic wraparound bridge and emg 81/85! ❤️❤️❤️
The Bich needs creme or black/creme zebra pickups. The pearl white and black hardware make it look like a brand new guitar. Should be wood finish Spalted Maple with the dark Mahogany stringers.

Don't worry that guitar will make an appearance on my channel again very soon. That axe actually isn't mine it belongs to a friend of mine who is also one of my clients and band mates. I have a half way decent collection, but recently got a carvin dc400 and a bc rich mockingbird legacy ST... iv been on a quest the last 2 years pretty much trying every modern/metal guitar with hype. I found bc rich/carvin kiesel's take the cake. Im getting an unsued ironbird extreme on monday for 500!! Lol i met one of the owner's brothers on Craigslist...he had one of these and shredzilla prophecy z6 signed by all the bc rich guys, but that one's very pricy...i cant wait!

Ahhhh good eye man. Yeah I did but I ended up selling it to a guy in one of the fb groups. He really wanted it and it was a bass he was after for a long time and so I let it go just for him.

Bro I peeped that shit lol. Homeboy is out of his mind man trying to sell it for 3K. These used bc rich prices are insane. But it goes to show you people are actually paying these crazy prices cause they are tired of B.C. Rich not making the models they want. Iv'e offered my advice and proposed a business deal with them to get some cool things moving and more content but nothing came of it. I'm trying to get some things to change but let's just say I'm fighting a very uphill battle.

Yea I've heard that the new owner isn't making the some of the B.C. Rich guitars that people want so it makes sense that the prices are going up on the cheaper models.

Not sure that anything really takes the lespaul sound esp that brutal down picking sound especially at detuned notes which strangely enough is dominated by BCRich type of players...some of those shapes I mentioned are off the map price wise, Seagull and wave really rare low total production numbers. I love to look at V's but I would never own one. They just aren't for me. My collection has grown a lot more than this since shooting this video. Soon I'll do an updated version of this for you guys to check out. Was on tour for several months and so slowly getting back to doing the youtube stuff.

Back in the 2000s I avoided BC rich because of the paint chipping issues they had, now I avoid them because they are way too pointy
I owned a basic, economy range, white BCR bass back in the 80s. Ridiculous neck dive to the point that it seriously effected your ability to play standing up. I was a broke teenager and could only afford to own one bass at a time, so I had part exchanged a perfectly good Fender Musicmaster for the Rich. The guy knew he was getting the best of the swap and even threw in a bag of weed to sweeten the deal. Worst swap ever. Worst bass I ever owned. Within a year I had sold it and bought an Aria Pro II Laser, which I still own, because unlike the BCR it was/is an excellent bass for the money and it doesn't look like it was designed by a drunk twelve year old NWOBHM fan.
I had been fooled by the undeserved good reputation BCR had back then. As soon as the company got a name for quality and a few celebrity endorsements, they released a bunch of cheap, cash-grab shoddy garbage, not seeming to care that they would ruin their reputation for ever more.
If Rolls Royce brought out an 'economy class', affordable model that was worse than the average Toyota in its price range, they would destroy their brand and the phrase ''This is the Rolls Royce of ........'' would mean something different than it means today. That's what BC did.
