We're glad to see our work on the Nostromo is holding up so well! It was a fantastic piece to work on, and we'd love to work on any other challenging projects that come our way!
On behalf of every BTTF nerd, I want to thank you for showing off those three props from the Back To The Future trilogy. I know where about 60% of the props from all three films are. Fantastic!
I went to the shop, but that was about 8 years ago and he actually was in the back when they called him out to look at some old guns. The customer said he wanted an expert to look and it and Rick said “ I am the expert”
The guy who’s giving the tour is incredibly well spoken. Just a magnificent communicator that you don’t see very often. I’m astounded at this man’s capability to convey information and relaying responses. He must’ve taken high levels of communication classes in college or something. As someone who’s a communication guy, this guy is at the top of his game and I bet hardly anyone notices.
It's heartbreaking to hear how some of these props have been treated/stored. You have to wonder how many other amazing props are out there, just rotting away in somebody's driveway under a tarp.
every prop rotting is a prop not thrown away- and a prop which will someday make a fun restoration project for a maker. yes, ideally all props of a certain stature would be saved in a vault and cared for, but at the same time hollywood generates enough excess product at the end of shoots as is.
"it was a process" for people who don't speak restaurateur, that roughly translates to "it was a squared shitshow that drove the majority of the team into crippling depression"
Favorite item from the Auction: INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE (1989) - The Grail Knight's (Robert Eddison) Sword. I love that movie, that last bit with the grail i fantastic!
When I saw the Stargate staff I was like "I WANT SOMETHING LIKE THAT", went to the side, quickly clicked it away. Damn that stuff is expensive xD Then again it is one of a kind ofcourse :)
14:55 the Calico 950 modified blaster from Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace is the best looking prop that fits perfect for any science fiction movie.
Interesting cross head screw in the Nostromo close up at 1:34 - now I have to re watch the film to see if that was how it was in the movie! Fabulous model though a great video!
I know I looked for it right after I typed it. Needless to say I don't like it that much, and I have Roland from the Marvel series on my left ribs and a 19 and 99 tattooed on my wrists...
Looked at the catalog, the coolest pieces were The Thing's head/mask from Fantastic 4, the Velociraptor's claw from Jurassic Park, the Stormtrooper helmets from Star Wars, the original poster paintings, and the Wolverine Claws from X-Men
Question on movie prop restoration: Once panels are replaced and it's repainted, doesn't it kinda lose the luster as the screen used prop? I would compare it to plastering over a dinosaur fossil, where one would want to see the original, defects and all, compared to a "re-creation or covered up" display. Kind of a catch 22 I guess, can see someone not wanting to display a rusty, falling apart original but also wanting the original screen used prop without changes.
The E-11 and the Naboo Security Officer blasters are coolest to me, because those are both models I tried to create on the computer. The blueprints later on are pretty damn cool too.
Not many people know this, but giant possums eating the alien was the original ending of the first movie. And it was still better than any part of Prometheus's plot.
Awesome huge back to the future and Star Trek fan, love all the movies and the cartoon series so cool they have the shoes and it's cool they have props for Star Trek props as well😊
Oh! Anyone remember the Clown @15:35 I remember it scaring a boy and a blond woman, I remember it Running,. Holding a knife, I remember the boy putting it in the Trash and it came back to his room. What movie is that? EDIT: I REMEMBER! It was that movie THE HOLE I have it on 3D Bluray, THAT'S why I remember it so clearly!
Okay, finished looking at the Prop Store's online catalog, and although there is a bunch of stuff that I would love to own, from the original Battlestar Galactica Cylon helmet, to all of the swords (the elven army sword from LOTR, the Knight sword from Indy 3, the Macleod clan sword from Highlander), to Star Wars stuff which, well, maybe you can tell from my user picture... But the one I -would- definitely want to own is the Rocketeer helmet. That thing is beautiful.
Oh man, they have the Hero prop of Jason Bourne's pistol from the deposit box. I wonder if Adam is going to try to get that for his collection. I think the ZF-1 is probably my favorite though.
awesome video Adam back to the future one of my all time favorite film's I've still got the vhs box set video tapes but dvd got the better of me lol have a nice day
Favorite prop is USA Today 'Gang Jailed' Newspaper BACK TO THE FUTURE: PART II (1989) I love back to the future part 2 it's my favorite movie of all time! Can't wait for the air mags to come out!
+Samuel Lopez you know USA Today actually produced the newspaper in real life with the same cover from the movie on the 22nd of October. You should be able to get one if you're in the US. The air mags will be auctioned, which is a shame since that means they will be extremely costly and not mass produced. I love that they really work however. (even if they take longer than the movie to tie)
I think it would be easier to do an electric conversion. Both to keep the car as original as possible and to get it street legal without dealing with emissions

Rick from Pawn stars: “I’ll give you $5 for everything. I’m taking all the risk”
Rick: I've gotta get a frame.
Na ricks a decent guy. I sold an old coin worth 250$ to him. He gave me $160, its a pawn shop.
@@Chino-Kafu lies, he doesn't actually work at the shop, he's just an actor.
He does work there. Just not often. Chum was there also.
I went to the shop, but that was about 8 years ago and he actually was in the back when they called him out to look at some old guns. The customer said he wanted an expert to look and it and Rick said “ I am the expert”

I can watch this stuff forever.. I'm such a movie prop dork. If i ever got super rich, I think I would blow half my fortune on stuff like this.
The Nostromo

Indy I do agree
So do you! =P
No it belongs in the White House as the president
Marty's letter to Doc is pretty cool.
why isn't this video 8 hours long?? I wanna see more! :'(
Because they are OUTATIME!. :P
@@RMJ1984 booo, you suck
These props need to be displayed in a museum for all the movies lovers to enjoy
“It belongs in a MUSEUM!”
I'd leave things the way they were. Captures the essence of production for the item.
I think that Back to the Future news paper has got to be the best thing in the action. I would look perfect hanging in my office.
The letter from Marty to Doc was my favorite prop
min 8:12 !!! Norm has a strong nerdgasm !!!
hahahaha 😂
normgasm
thats what it wld sound like if he came inside YOU
Hands down my favorite item is the Rocketeer hero helmet, but the Enterprise D saucer section is a close second.
I would love to watch Adam walk around the place. Would be like a kid in a candy store.
that letter was super neat to learn about, didn't know that MJF actually wrote them himself.
That Hill Valley police car looks amazing!
I worked at the Nike R&D facility back in the late '80's and helped put together those Nike Back to the future shoes
They took Jennifer home not Lorraine
Ikr😂😂
lol yeah i was like whaaaat haha
Lorraine was the car which they travel back to the future in.
You mean DeLorean DMC-12?
Mr. Perfect omg you are one of the stupidest people this has to be the dumbest comment of 2018 so far omg
The coolest item has got to be the Witch King's Morgul Blade, it's just such an iconic, instantly recognisable item
"it was a process"
for people who don't speak restaurateur, that roughly translates to "it was a squared shitshow that drove the majority of the team into crippling depression"
You can really tell that there's one thing this guy cares much, much more about than the movie memories these props showcase...
Money.
These prop videos are awesome. Wish I could come explore that warehouse.

I wonder if they have anything from Ghost Dad
+Matthew Livingston They have Bill Cosby's 'special' pills.
+Matthew Livingston Everything worth keeping.
14:10 - There's the painting of Roland from The Dark Tower seen in "The Mist" movie. Awesome!
SPACE COWBOYS - IKON Rocket Model Miniature. How cool would that look hanging from the ceiling!
Interesting cross head screw in the Nostromo close up at 1:34 - now I have to re watch the film to see if that was how it was in the movie! Fabulous model though a great video!
Respect Brandon, I have your book, it is fantastic, no idea you were part of an organisation like this too, awesome.
Oh look it is the Dark Tower movie poster from The Myst. So damn cool.
+Christopher Raff $3K USD on their site!
I know I looked for it right after I typed it. Needless to say I don't like it that much, and I have Roland from the Marvel series on my left ribs and a 19 and 99 tattooed on my wrists...
very cool. I don't like most thing on Prop Stores site enough to shell out for their prices, but it's cool to browse
Thanks! I was wondering where that came from/what that was doing there!
Answered my question! Amazing!
Looked at the catalog, the coolest pieces were The Thing's head/mask from Fantastic 4, the Velociraptor's claw from Jurassic Park, the Stormtrooper helmets from Star Wars, the original poster paintings, and the Wolverine Claws from X-Men

I noticed the logo of HILL VALLEY has the clock tower and the two hands indicating the time it got struck by the lighting. What a detail!
The E-11 and the Naboo Security Officer blasters are coolest to me, because those are both models I tried to create on the computer.
The blueprints later on are pretty damn cool too.
My favorite prop out of ALL of these things...... Is the Titanic Funnel to the left of the screen when they are talking about the Nostromos
I loved seeing the Nostromo. Very cool.
7:26 I cringed when he closed the drawer
TheSuperCommentGuy same
Same!

The highlander sword or the Blade swords would be awesome to add to my fledgling collection.

i would like to see some of these props, while your walking past them
I love the self lacing nike shoes and the cool almanac including the hoverborad.
Nike Mags/Air Mags
I think they should go back and revisit the collection, to see if they have got anything new in their collection in the UK and the States.
I love it when someone says they have "the" one prop X used in a movie and don't know about the extra copies made for filming.
Amazing props! Awesome video, guys.
6:08 Is that a bust of Ariel Helwani? 👃 lool 😭😭😂😂😂
where's the clown from 15:36 from?
The "last stowaways"??? HHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
Great episode....
How wonder how much that painting prop from the mist goes for in the background?
3:33 Did the possums have holes in their rib cages?
Those drywall screws at 1:35 would be hilarious at full scale.
Oh! Anyone remember the Clown @15:35 I remember it scaring a boy and a blond woman, I remember it Running,. Holding a knife, I remember the boy putting it in the Trash and it came back to his room. is the mask at 16:55 the old guy who has syphilis in Braveheart?
Apparently they're still doing a restoration; at 1:34 you can see drywall screws!

really interesting. I love the BTTF stuff since it's BTTF week.
Do they offer tours, or have a permanent documentation website? If not, they need to allow remote controlled camerabots to roam through the isles. :-)
What? Who me? Sit in a Batman cockpit? I love it when these guys are surrounded be cool stuff and still get excited, it's adorable.
14:00 "Power laces, alright."
I wonder where that smokestack in the background at 16:00 comes from
the reel Shoes of Scene Bttf 2 is located in France LYON MUSEUM like the hoverBoard originale
Oh man, they have the Hero prop of Jason Bourne's pistol from the deposit box. I wonder if Adam is going to try to get that for his collection. I think the ZF-1 is probably my favorite though.

Favorite prop is USA Today 'Gang Jailed' Newspaper
BACK TO THE FUTURE: PART II (1989) I love back to the future part 2 it's my favorite movie of all time!
They have Lenard Nimoy's original science officers uniform from the original series of Star Trek up for auction!
Thought the Hill Valley car was a Blade Runner car at first. Still very cool!
Is that cds bar and grill sign a prop from walker Texas ranger?
i thank an awesome prop , is the funnel from THE TITANIC , behind where they where talking about BACK TO THE FUTURE. JUST MY FAVORITE .
this ALL belongs in a museum!
I would love to see the condition of the prop when its received just to truly see the restoration work.. I could watch this all day though
is pistol squats better than burpees?mainly focusing on calisthenics.
Gary Gavina idk.....
Pistol squats better for leg development
I JUST WATCH BEVERLY HILLS COP 3 AGAIN 2 NIGHTS AGO AND THEN SEE THIS! WOW

How would you be putting in a drive line in the Hill Valley Police Car & having that as a daily driver? Hemi all the way man..... :)
I think it would be easier to do an electric conversion. Both to keep the car as original as possible and to get it street legal without dealing with emissions
Norm drinking game:

Do they still have the Mags NEED TO KNOW WANT TO BUY!!!
MY favourite is definitely the Back to the future Sports Almanac
