The NPCs have their little gossip episodes that go on for several weeks, Brewster threatened to tell me where the pigeon milk came from, and the villagers have something new and insane to say every day.
the dialogue in this game was what made it a Wild World. I miss that in the newer games. Its all rinse and repeat in the newer games. But in this game, they remember things.

I know this word because my fourth grade teacher made fun of me for not knowing what it meant and laughed at me in front of the entire class.
It's the best one if you just want to play a couple of minutes each day because the villagers and NPCs are so funny. Also I can't stop because my flowers will die if I miss a day 😂
Vis! You may remember from from City Folk, but don’t forget you can change your bed and the pockets background. You can also wave to villagers by tapping on them (clicking in this case) which will raise your friendship level.
I actually don't like the NH museum that much because it's too big. It doesn't have that cozy small town vibe and makes even less sense on a tiny island.

wild world was the first animal crossing i ever played. we got a used copy from gamestop which i didn't know it was. someone elses save was on there and i was literally RICH right out the gate with millions of bells and i kept taking it out of the atm thinking it was endless what a time

Wild World!! I love this game, it was actually one of the first games I ever owned. I got a pearl pink DS Lite and a copy of WW and one or two other games from my aunts when I was... I had to have been 7, because this game came out in 2006, right? I don't remember much about playing the game at that age, other than that I loved to go to the Roost and drink coffee like a grown-up, because I was 7 and wasn't allowed to. I lost that console and copy a long ass time ago, sadly, but I got a DSi for my 12th or so birthday... and then like a decade later, got TwilightMenu on it so I could play some games I either never got to or lost... including Wild World. I didn't remember the villagers being so dramatic as a kid, but I love it. Gaston is my enemy in that town, because he regifted a shirt I gave him right back to me and talked shit about Aurora, my bestie, to me, behind her back. And of course I told her, because I don't let that shit fly. So all this makes my relationship with Gaston in New Leaf really awkward, to say the least...

you don’t have to go to your bed to save! iirc you can just press the start button and a little menu will pop up, i used it all the time when i played acww~ hope this helps!
This was my first and really only animal crossing exposure I had until new horizons (I tried city folk but only played it once and then never played again). I was fearful of the damn mole, my favorite villager at the time, Sally, decided she wanted to pack up and move but I was in a hurry and couldn’t stick around long enough to convince her to stay. Idk how anyone shot Gulivar down in the ship bc he was way too damn fast. The game got boring so fast. Also I HATED that stupid purple bird that’s at the post office early in the morning. I would have to deal with her when I played before school UGH. I will say I did enjoy Bluebear and was super stoked when she came to my island in NH. And I do miss Gracie!!

I love the old animal crossing games but just being able to be black in ACNH makes it so much harder to play any other one and feel like I'm involved lol. I absolutely love all the little events and details though! I wish they brought a little more of it from these games and new leaf for sure!
The shared house was such a cute idea in terma lf saving space but the loans u pay off get so nasty ugly becausethey expeted it to be shared, my older sister ended up using a action replay to get rid of it for ours lol
