Coming from other editing software, this took a while to get used to, but it makes total sense now. While I can change the order, I'm so used to it now, I really don't want to go back. But if you're new to PD, and are having the same issue, it's nice to know that you can change it to what you're used to.
I always use the reverse track order. I find this aspect of PD counterintuitive so it only makes sense to me to reverse it. My only problem is all your demonstrations are in the default orientation. Love your work M.
To me, the default order is more intuitive. I imagine it as a class photograph. The people in the top row are in the back, and the people on the bottom are in the front.
Ha, always something new to learn. I have been using PD for years and never knew you could reverse the timeline order. The default order does make sense to me though because the majority of clips are along the top where you can easily see them while overlay clips are down lower because to some extent, they are less important than the main content.
As far as I know only PowerDirector uses this track order by default. I must say I like the way PD does it although I guess with a little time it's easy to adjust to either setup.
I have three videos taken simultaneously on a trip from the Finland/Norway border up to Nordkapp. I am 67. I have a straight-ahead video from my dash inside the rental car and two videos up on the roof one pointing off to the left and one pointing off to the right both at 45 degree angles. The goal is to produce a video of the drive as virtual as possible so one can enjoy this trip that I made. I am trying to learn PowerDirector365 to create such videos from multiple simultaneous videos. The 'multicam' feature I do not like as you make a video of the individual videos. I want to add 'slide left' and 'slide right' transitions to make it appear as if you are turning your head to the left and right to view the different views. This is the first video I have tripped over that clearly explains how I can use the timeline to position my three videos, cutting out sections i don't need to produce the final video. Thank you.
Is there any way to stop the clips/ tracks jumping jumping around when synicing to audio? Also really really wish you could colour code your tacks / clips like you can in da vinci and Premier 😥
Hey man I have the powerdirector watermark on a bunch of music videos I made back in high school which was like back 9-10 years ago. I revisited them when I pulled out a hard drive so I wondered if there was anything I could do to remove those watermarks permanently. I do not have a PC anymore and only a mobile phone now. Is it possible to have those watermarks removed? Especially now that I do not have the original "project" anymore.
@@PDU_Tutorials Is it possible to install power director on my phone and then remove it legally? I'm trying to put together something for my high school reunion coming in several months that's why. Any way I can have them removed I'm willing to listen to.
I'll come back to your video but the only reason I am here is to undo the Track default which PD 365 asked me about ( never asked in previous update), and my track order was highest to lowest, totally annoying.... thanks for the info :) I'm completely not understanding why anyone likes Reverse order? It seems natural to me that 1st is the top when dragging clips down to the closest.... ugh tomato , tomatoe

Yes, when I use something else I have to my head wrapped around things. This should help people who are new to the software.
Cheers Maliek, that is going to be quite useful! Stay safe, have fun!💪🍻👍

Yes. They are the only one I’m aware of. Good that the option exists. Had to help those newbies who aren’t used to this.
How much do you charge for color grading and editing music videos?
I needed this my tracks being upside down was driving me crazy.
