In January Oxford launched its ‘SmartZone’ in which local operators Go-Ahead’s Oxford Bus Company ans Stagecoach are working with local stakeholders to deliver a combined fleet of 159 new electric buses for city services. Its to reduce fare dodgers and maximise profits. And also to make it easier for the driver to alight passengers from the ticketer .
